Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed, do not book end of tenancy cleaning with this company, the service is not professional, the cleaners do not have the tools, products or skills to do a professional cleaning. I had to pay to my landlord for professional cleaning in the check out. I WASTE MY MONEY WITH YHIS COMPANY.

Positive first experience

First experience today of using Cleanzy. Although the cleaner was about 40 minutes late, bearing in mind she wasn’t used to this house, her cleaning was great. Used this service as my regular cleaner is unwell but would use again. Service very easy to access.

Used this company for end of tenancy…

Used this company for end of tenancy cleaning and would highly recommend to AVOID at all costs! On the day they were over an hour late, there is only one way phone communication available (obviously form their side) and customers need to use online chat. End of tenancy ended up being a disaster- cleaning services very very poor standards! Had to rebook another company to reclean after them AND...they refused to refund money for awful service provided, ignored requests for a phone call to discuss everything not over the email. AVOID!!!

Worst experience ever.

Worst experience ever.
I had a cleaner who left both bathroom with marks on mirrors and dusty and was all the time on his phone. I complained twice, they never came back to me and of course no refund of the service. It’s once on the chat they answered.
Another time I had a cleaning and saw no cleaners allocated so I contacted them. It’s after doing so they let me know they couldn’t find anyone for the job and replied to find a solution and then no answer.

So cleaners are not that great, customer service (if you can call that) is the worst.

Poor service

Poor service. The first cleaner didn't turn up at all, and marked the clean as being started. Cleanzy accepted this was their issue and sent a replacement cleaner who did an ok at best job. For the second booking, no cleaner again. I was told the job was cancelled and refunded, but I didn't find out about this until I contacted them about the cleaner not arriving.

On time and great clean

I was a bit sceptical at first cause I never heard back after the online booking….. however on approaching cleanzy, I found their customer service efficient and timely. Most important, the cleaners were bang on time and super friendly. It was an end of tenancy clean and we got our deposit back. Would use again for sure.

Worrisome.

Where to start? My first cleaner was fine and did a good job. However, I had booked a recurring clean and instead of sending the same person, they said she wasn't available and they would choose someone who had a similar rating. Instead, they sent someone with a lower rating who didn't even say hi or smile at the door. They walked in with shoes on and seemed very irritated when asked to clean the fridge. In fact, they weren't sure how to do it at all. Aside from this, their demeanor made me feel very uncomfortable and I was worried about being alone in the house. I was sure this person was never trained properly nor met anyone at Cleanzy because if they had, they would never have been sent to a customer!

I reported all of this to Customer service straight away and they offered to rectify it or refund it. I asked for it to be rectified and the next cleaner was lovely. However, Cleanzy claims that they train all of their staff to a certain standard, and it was very obvious to me that this lovely lady hadn't actually met anyone at Cleanzy. They also forgot to cancel my regular booking and a FOURTH cleaner showed up at my door. Poor woman.

Overall, I don't think Cleanzy actually knows or trains their cleaners as they claim. It seems that they just check criminal records but don't have a rigorous process with their team. This is really worrisome to me, given that they could send anyone to my house without having properly assessed them!

Maybe this is a staffing issue due to Covid, but all I can say is that I have switched to using a different cleaning app and although they're more expensive, the cleaners are reliable and just get on with it - they seem to be "real" cleaners who have some affiliation with their company.

First the cleaner gets lost (which can happen), has a go at me because I can’t understand her irrational mutterings followed by Cleanzy trying to get me to sort the fact that they don’t ensure their staff is fully briefed on where to go, finished off by them offering me a 25% discount because it was such a mess which did not get applied. Inconsistent service and quality, a huge disappointment.

Very poor cleaning service

Booked an end of tenancy cleaning service. Poor job done, job half done which I had to finish off myself before catching a flight (which is the last thing you want to be worrying about). The floors were not mopped, carpets not properly vacumed and many surfaces not even touched. Also after politely asking the cleaner to redo the vacuuming and highlighted the spots that were missing during the service he did not redo them.

The cleaner was also 1hr late with no heads up.

Overall a very underwhelming service with poor attention to detail and would not recommend.

Maybe it was this particular person and is not reflective of other cleaners on the platform but I was very dissappointed.

Completely dissatisfied

I booked a four hour clean stated what I wanted to be cleaned in the notes. Provided everything for the cleaner upon arrival. She struggled to communicate with me or show understanding of what I expected, barely talked and looked like she didn’t want to be there from the beginning. After her four hours were up I inspected the house and saw dust still on the floor, mirrors and surface unclean and the toilet looked exactly the way I left it. Oddly enough the house smelt like cleaning products, which I assume went straight down the drain as the house did not look particularly clean.

After contacting customer care I felt like I was going to be taken care of but communication was poor. On the day I expected a complementary clean nobody showed up and I was told after some time that there was an error on the system and it was not booked in.

I tried to find suitable times for another day but everything was after 4pm. As a person with children in the house I’m sure many can relate to the 9:00 - 15:00 period being the most ideal. However this could not be provided for me. I sent emails asking if the clean could be done at another time but there was a terrible delay in email response time. They tried to get into contact with me several times but I was occupied at work.

Unfortunately they ended up sending a cleaner to the house and he was male. It would’ve been nice to know before hand as we are a household of Muslim women and this was disregarded. We had to turn the cleaner away.

There was no phone call back to check what had happened or if we could come to a solution. Instead every time I tried to call I was told to email or go on the online chat function. Very unhelpful. I have now been told that I cannot get a refund nor a complementary clean. Very dissatisfied.

I will not be using this service anymore nor will I recommend to anyone.

It looks like their rating system is fake .
They send me a cleaner with 4.98 rating about of 5 .I would give 2.8 max
Not worth it also more expensive than most of the freelance cleaners
