The occasion was mired by issues.
Firstly the taxi that was sent to pick me up wasn't where he was meant to be. So I was charge for a service I never received (scammed for 55 euros). The apartment was changed at the last minute. The alternative apartment we were moved into didn’t have any heating for the first 24 hours.
The maintenance team were borderline incompetents they didn’t have a clue about heating systems. There was a gas fire in the apartment which also didn't work. I was told it was just for decoration, really !!!!
I wouldn't use citybreakapartments.com and again and dependant on the response from Expedia.co.uk I may not be using them again either.

Avoid!! Booked a break through Booking.com. A few days later I was asked to cancel the booking as the dates in question should not have been released. I asked when they would be released and was advised that they only release dates 6 months in advance.
I cancelled the booking.
I then went back into booking.com to look for other accommodation and the same apartment appears for an extra 400€. Obviously they realised as this is a very popular weekend I Dublin they could charge more than what they had charged us and infact dates have been released until December 2026.

Despite this being a great apartment I must warn others about this company. We arrived for a business trip having booked an apartment next to the Convention Centre because that is were we needed to be. Upon arrival into Dublin we were informed that there was an 'issue' at the apartment we had booked (I've read about others having the same experience, so suspect it is actually a tactic employed to hook punters), but not to worry as they had another apartment for us. After a taxi journey to their office we were asked to swipe our credit card for a deposit, despite having already booked and paid via hotels.com. We duly gave our credit card details, which we later regretted. We had our stay but were severely inconvenienced by the location not being where we had booked but we sucked it up. We were not offered any kind of reimbursement for our trouble. When our stay ended we left the apartment as we had found it and even loaded the dishwasher and set it running. We then had to trapse through town with our bags to hand back the key. A few days later we were stung with a fee for 80 euros for a smashed lamp that was a complete work of fiction. After nearly two weeks of fighting with them we finally got our money back. Do NOT stay with these cowboys, they will try and cheat you. You have been warned!

Its a big scam. They sell what they dont have. Once you arrive to check-in at your accomodation they tell you there was a problem and they give you a shittier alternative apartment. Rude staff, filthy and overpriced.
