Customer service for Cirque De Soleil…
Customer service for Cirque De Soleil Mysterie at Treasure Island is absolutely horrible. The manager and assistant manager there are absolutely the most disrespectful people! We purchased tickets through a 3rd party, there were issues with the tickets and we had the 3rd party on the line and the confirmation # and the manager would not work with us in the slightest, even after they had received full payment for our tickets. All she would do is offer -50% off our tickets. She walked away, was rude, condescending, and disrespectful!! She should not be a manager. We were in Vegas from Minnesota for the weekend and were looking so forward to the show. We were not able to go due to her uncooperativeness. It was really heartbreaking. We tried talking to the hotel manager and passed along to him how awful she was but it was off of his hands as it is a separate entity owned by Cirque De Soleil. So if you ever have to purchase tickets or go to a show, DO NOT GO TO TREASURE ISLAND CIRQUE DE SOLEIL, If there is any issue with the tickets, the managers are absolutely worthless and rude, We never did see the show even after paying full price for our tickets and tried so hard to get someone to help us.
DISGUSTING ORGANISATION
If I could give them zero rating I would.
We purchased tickets in 2019 prior to Covid for a show being held in Western Australia in 2020.
Obviously this did not go ahead due to the pandemic.
I have chased, chased, chased them for a refund. They promise the world and deliver NOTHING.
We will NEVER go to one of their shows and would recommend everyone to be very careful how far in advance you purchase tickets. The chances of you getting a refund is pretty much zero. Just be prepared to consider the money as a “donation”.
They are now returning to Western Australia and haven’t even had the decency to contact their historical customers like ourselves for some kind of recompense.
Appalling behaviour and in our opinion a totally unprofessional organisation.
Very unprofessional
I booked for cirque de soleil Montreal and they canceled the show last minute without informing anyone and blamed it on the weather. After taking taxis and booking they said they can't do anything. Not much of an international management of events
The worst experience ever
The worst experience ever! I will never go back and will not recommend Cirque du Soleil!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME
We arrived on time and spent 30 mins walking inside and around the Ball Arena, Denver, trying to find the cirque du soleil. The instructions on the ticket says Ball Arena. The cirque was not in Ball Arena. It was in the parking lot (not a walking distance from the Ball Arena) without any signs or announcements. False advertising! With this frustration, we ended up going home!!
DO NOT CONTACT ME! Not interested in your business!
Good luck
Crystal
Crystal can be summarised as too much watching of a love story and watching skating and not enough watching a circus. Sometimes less is more.
So Long Cirque Du Soleil
I have been going to Cirque Du Soleil for 20 years, every time they have come to Denver. Now I find the the price for a ticket has gotten so high, I probably will NEVER go to one of their shows again. Oh sure, it's a great show but at $849 in the back balcony and $139 for a side seat that you CANNOT see the show from. Sorry Cirque Du Soleil, you effectively priced me and others like me out of the market.
The acrobatics on ice were superb
Finding the 150 (for 2) to attend was hard, but the show Crystal was fantastic; the plot left a lot to be desired, but the acrobatics on ice were superb. Good value overall.
The Glory
The most moving performance I have ever seen. Grace, power, poise, courage, wonder, beauty and art.
The show and it's performers embody all that is possible and glorious about our species. I applaud you all.
Thank you. 😊
Cirque du soleil is wonderful but Corteo is bad
I love cirque du soleil but the show Corteo is a mishmash of bad skits, bad sound and a bad time. Three of us went. All of us agree. The fantastic performers, acrobatics, musicians, support deserve better. The artistic director failed them
Probably the last time I saw CdC
I just went to see Cirque du Soleil Crystal in Finland and what a disappointment it was. The show was OK, but nowhere near the best CdC shows I have seen and they have been many.
The biggest disappointment this time was that I had bought VIP through Live Nation tickets which should have included extra content like “a peek behind the curtains” as well a VIP host. These were nowhere to be seen and the staff had no idea of the behind the curtains tour.
Also the VIP tickets should have included good seats but they where pretty average and there were definitely better seats in the house. The VIP tickets were 500€ fpr two persons and definitely not worth it.
This was likely the last time I go and see CdC.
Absolutely awful and disappointing…
Absolutely awful and disappointing show. No comparison to previous shows. There are silly gaps filled by a clown bringing someone on stage and sitting closer and closer to her, falling off the couch and this lasts for 10 minutes maybe more. It’s a total rip off. Will never go again.
Crystal, what a joke!
We went to the show called Crystal and left massively disappointed. Low class figure skaters and more boring fillers than good quality artistry made as leave half way through the show. Turned out to be a colossal waste of time and money.
We had been to fairly impressive Cirque du Soleil shows before but this one was truly substandard.
Cirque Kurios was an absolute waste of…
Cirque Kurios was an absolute waste of time and money. The content was so amateur compared to the local circus shows I've been to. Go to Cirque Zyair for an exhilarating show for a fraction of the price. I won't go to Cirque du Soleil again. I ended up sitting in the show getting frustrated with silly people posing and parading and a silly man acting like a cat. My 2yr old would've been amused but to pay £££'s a ticket and be shown pretty low quality circus acts too - appalled and I'd love a full refund and possibly compensation for having to sit and be put through that. I cant believe someone authorised this show to be sold at high prices at the Royal Albert Hall and disgraced the reputation, esp if its the first Cirque du Soleil show youve seen. More ridiculous than curious!
Really disappointed
Really disappointed. The individual acts were too long & repetitive, not enough group performing or wow factor compared to previous shows.
Absolutely awful in every respect and…
Absolutely awful in every respect and under no circumstance waste your money on £125 each tickets to this joke of a circus. I feel mugged. How they aren’t ashamed of this flip u don’t know.
What a disappointment!
What a disappointment!
Do not waste your money!!!!!
The show was poorly put together.
What a let down!!
What a let down. For the price we paid I have to say I was expecting more. I've seen better at a local circus. Its was so so bad, more fillers than acts. Please don't waste your money!
This was poorly put together show.
I took a friend to see the show as a Christmas present. I haven’t been to a CDS show before but other family members have and based on their reviews of previous events I was expecting a spectacular show with amazing circus performances of international level. I was bitterly disappointed at Kurios. As previous reviews have said the actual artists were good but almost 3/4 of the show was fillers of a childish manner. I was embarrassed to watch a man pretending to be a cat for no fathomable reason. Finger puppet show passable flea show just plain silly. In the end I was relieved it was over as was my friend. Very poor value for money. If you are unsure about attending then spend time looking at the reviews before parting with your money.
Went to go and see this with my partner…
Went to go and see this with my partner and her family who have been to previous performances.
I wouldn’t normally attend these as it’s not something I would gravitate towards and potentially this is causing bias towards how negative my experience was.
The parts of the show I would have considered “traditional circus” was good (e.g. aerial acrobatics etc) however this maybe accounted for 30-40 mins of a 2 hour show. The rest was taken up by filler which didn’t make much sense even in the context of the show. 15-20 mins on a section where there is an “invisible” circus? Genuinely, watching nothing for the entire time. Another 15-20 mins on watching a guy pretend to be a cat because… reasons. Some people found it funny and great for them but bearing in mind it was £120 for these tickets each I was left scratching my head. When they started a routine that involved a man pretending to breakdance with his fingers I had already given up on the show altogether and just started feeling scammed out of time and money.
For anyone that finds people pretending to be cats funny or that likes watching nothing happen and then making up in their head that there is in fact something there this maybe the show for you. If perhaps even you find entertainment in people that can use their fingers like a puppet to dance, go for it, you’ve found your perfect show.
For anyone else that’s on the fence around going to this show, if you don’t already love everything to do with cirque du soleil or have a single percentage of a “I may not like this show” DO NOT GO. You will only hate it as much as I did and then get angry that you were scammed.
Leave the show for families with young kids that will find it funny and spend your money on anything else.
I was more entertained at Zippos Circus…
I had never been to see them before & have spectacular reviews from other people, so when we got offered tickets to Kurious, we jumped at them. We had amazing seats at the royal Albert hall - our own box with the best view of the entire stage.
How DISAPPOINTED we both were. I was expecting breath taking stunts, but other than the trapeze artists which didn’t go on for very long, I was left watching some man pretending to be a cat while the girl he dragged from the audience sat on the stage looking embarrassed. It wasn’t even funny and it went on for WAY too long.
An entire set came out that looked great fun, of a basket ball hoop & a seesaw - I thought ‘this looks like they could make something amazing with it. Maybe this is where it gets good’. How wrong was I? The cat man spent AGES pointing to nothing pinging around - it was an IMAGINARY show and there was no act to perform on the set. Then the guy was teasing an ‘imaginary lion’ with some sausages. It was so unfunny I couldn’t believe that I was at one of the most ‘spectacular’ shows in the world.
I wanted to leave at the interval but I gave it the benefit of the doubt & we stayed until the end, but there was no ‘wow’ at all.
The staging was amazing, the costumes and the music were great, and the performers did the best they could with the show, but I feel it was lacking so much.
I have seen been at Zippos circus and that’s no joke. Don’t waste your money on this overpriced show.
It’s wonderful to go to the Albert hall & to see everybody dressed in their finery, and we saw Brian May on the way in which was a nice surprise, but the show itself - no thanks. I feel sorry for people that have tickets for future shows.
