Total Mess Not Worth It

Dude, that show was a total shit show—ain’t no other way to put it! The whole thing was just a creepy religious plug disguised as entertainment, and let me tell you, it was straight-up sacrilegious garbage. The “spiritual” stuff? More like a bunch of blasphemous nonsense that made zero sense—they were shoving their weird doctrine down our throats the whole time, not even trying to hide it. The performances were lazy as hell, the music sucked, and don’t get me started on those cringey “inspirational” bits that felt like a cult recruitment video. Save your cash and your sanity—this ain’t art, it’s a sad excuse to push a toxic religious agenda. Total waste of time, would rather stare at a wall than sit through that garbage again.

I was really disappointed with the Shen Yun show in Philly. The performance honestly wasn't worth the high ticket price at all. Plus, they mixed in a lot of political messaging, and midway through the show they started pushing some weird, preachy stuff that felt completely out of place. It was totally different from the videos I had seen online. Overall, it was a pretty terrible experience, and I definitely won't be going again.

"Spiritual Expressions"

The "Spiritual Expressions" not only have extremely poor artistic quality, but also carry the subversive elements of cults that are anti-science and anti-society. They promote so-called "religious doctrines" to the audience and slander "atheism and evolutionism".

The sixth performance of Shen Yun at…

The sixth performance of Shen Yun at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, Canada, was monotonous and lacked originality. The artistic expression of the performers was poor, and the political undertones were too strong, giving an impression of a declining quality. Calling it an artistic performance is somewhat of a stretch.

The Costumes are Amazing!

I went to Shen Yun a few months ago and really enjoyed the experience. As someone who loves brightly colored clothing, the costumes were probably my favorite part of the show. Every time a piece started I was so excited to see what kinds of colors would come on stage next. The stories were easy to follow, despite there being no words. I liked learning about a foreign culture. The different types and reasons for bowing was interesting to me. Dance isn’t my thing, so I appreciated the stories pieces more. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique, beautiful experience.

I had the chance to watch Shen Yun at…

I had the chance to watch Shen Yun at Taiwan, and it was truly a unique experience. The performance is visually stunning, with incredibly vibrant costumes, precise choreography, and a beautifully synchronized orchestra that blends Eastern and Western instruments.

What stood out most was the storytelling. Each dance piece conveyed a different story from Chinese history, folklore, or spiritual themes, and even without dialogue, the emotions were clear and engaging. The dancers are exceptionally skilled, and their movements feel both powerful and graceful at the same time.

That said, some parts of the show include strong cultural and spiritual messages that may not resonate with everyone, depending on personal perspective. However, from an artistic standpoint, the production quality and discipline of the performers are undeniably impressive.

Overall, Shen Yun is worth watching if you appreciate classical dance, culture, and high-level stage production. It’s not just a performance—it’s an experience that leaves a lasting impression.
