Getting the car was fast and easy. Car was in good condition and clean.
Opportunity for improvement: return desk at 7:10AM was still closed although opening time was shown 7:00AM.
It took some time to find a return spot because all of the parking places were full.

Great experience. Easy to reserve and collect. Drop off was extremely simple and absolutely no faff. Love that there’s no excess like a lot of other providers. Will always use CICAR when in the Canaries!

Excellent experience with Cicar at Fuerteventura Airport. Very relaxed and friendly service, the car was exactly as reserved and in perfect condition. Returning the car was also quick and hassle-free. Highly recommended and would definitely rent here again!

The staff at the airport was amazing and incredibly kind. The entire process was quick, and every detail was explained clearly. The car was fantastic and exactly what we booked. Even though we had an early drop-off, the team was already on-site to assist us, making everything go smoothly. CICAR truly is the best in the business in the Canary Islands!

Very easy process to pick up the car at the airport. The car was larger than expected and the engine warning light and tire pressure light came on but we had no problems with that. There was also a local office in Costa karma where we were staying so we knew if there were any problems they could be sorted out quickly.

Only booked a Ford Focus on Fuerteventura for 2 days but actually got a Cupra which was superb. €75 all in. Its the best, easiest car hire experience I've ever had. No joking. I didn't even have to check a credit card in. Suggest you download/install the Cicar app and fill in the request/booking info prior to picking up your vehicle. I will definitely use Cicar again.

Simple pickup, competitive price for the car I wanted and easy drop off. The only downside side was the lack of available parking spaces when returning the car. Not a major issue but avoidable when customers are focused on getting a flight.

Very competitive price. Had the car for two weeks and no bother with it. No hassles at collection point at Las Palmas airport. Easy drop off procedure (once you know where to go!)

We’re using Cicar’s services again. As always, the booking process went smoothly. We were given a car that was practically brand new and met our expectations. We paid by debit card with no deposit required, and took out comprehensive insurance with no excess. Unfortunately, the company did not deliver the car to our hotel as stated in the booking. A Cicar representative arrived and drove us to the office, where we signed the contract and were handed the car.

Have rented numerous times now via Cicar on the Fuerteventura airport and was never disappointed.
With the new office the already short queues are even shorter and arranging all the paperwork is very speedy.

With respect to the cars: the price is very good and no hassle with inspection of and discussion on damages. Just take the car and drive off on pickup, and park the car and hand in the key on drop-off.
Their cars are well maintained, drive well and are always nice and clean on pick up. When the requested model/class is unavailable, you get a free upgrade offered.

Second time using Cicar and everything went smoothly, the extra insurance is included so there is much less stress is hiring with Cicar. I will happily use Cicar again. One thing to look out for: the online booking lets you book a car from an office even if the office is closed. Apparently it is the customer's responsibility to make sure the office is open when booking as the website isn't fully functional in this respect.

By far the best rental company in the canaries for years. Consistent and helpful customer service. Accurate administration. Fast payback of gas advance. Easy reservation. All in insurance. Every year we rent with them for >15 years now. Once we had a broken car in Corralejo, wouldn’t start anymore. Within 10! minutes an employee arrived with a new car. Swapped on the spot. Also reservation changes made through email simply get picked up correctly. At cicar they have their stuff very well arranged. Many rental companies (and other service oriented companies) should have a look at how they do this. Kudos!

I’ve used many hire car companies and it seems their intention is to scam you as much as they can. Especially in Spain! However, I had full confidence in CICAR from the moment I paid at their desk, the whole process was seamless. They didn’t try to sell me any additional insurance, they didn’t ask for a deposit, they didn’t even take my card details. I paid €147 for a week’s rental, I paid in cash. The car was clean, the staff were super friendly and the return of the vehicle was seamless. They even gave me €10 back as I returned the car with the same fuel in. It’s a shame CICAR isn’t available throughout all of Spain, they are an amazing company and I will never ever use another car rental company again where CICAR is available. I couldn’t recommend this company enough. Thank you.

The car was delivered to our hotel on time, even of a better class than the one we ordered — new, clean… We don’t have to worry about insurance because it includes all options in the price. You don't have to pay for the reservation right away, and you can cancel at any time — which is also very user-friendly. We’ve been using it for the third year in a row. Thank you and best regards.

I was disappointed on arrival at Las Palmas airport that the car that was booked 6 weeks previous, was not available. After a delay and accepting a different vehicle, we proceeded to pick up at basement level where I was greeted by the most badly mannered customer service agent I have ever encountered. No apology for the car not being ready but actually was told to wait for the car to be washed. When I tried to speak with her she just turned her back on me and walked away. She certainly could do with re-training in customer service. However, all was not bad as the cost of hiring was very competitive and the vehicle itself was top class.

Quick pick up and return of a minibus we hired for 9 of us. Stress free !! Great customer service. Happy experience
