My dog was hit by the neighbor's car…

My dog was hit by the neighbor's car and both his back legs were broken. We call 911 and they could not send the one out. So they referred us to Chicago animal ambulance, they came out, they helped put my dog on a gurney. And took him to the veterinarian. So my opinion was, they did a great job. They did what they could. They rolled him over on a sheet, picked him up and put him on the gurney and provide oxygen to him. Thank you so much, and we appreciate that. My dog is still Healing, but I think it would have been a lot worse if they didn't show up. Thank you.

This is a scam

I had an emergency for my large dog who injured his paw/leg on 04/23/2026 5:37 pm.
While speaking on the phone with MEDVET ER in Chicago the staff recommended this ER transport for pets.
Under distress I ordered the service and paid for the servive in advance.
Rates are based on distance traveled so I filled out the intake form which in included the pick up address , the ER MedVet address for medical attention, my dogs weight and breed, my email, phone number, etc.
Within minutes of ordering the ER pickup I recieved an email from Chicago ER Pet Transport from a Wordpress site out of CA stating " Stand by as we locate the nearest driver who will reach out to you." After the email correspondence on 04/23/2026 we never recieved any further correspondence for services purchased.
We tried to call ( 855-505-0587) no response.
We were ghosted.
We scarambled to get help for our dog and immeadiatly filed a fraud dispute with Citibank #D-951175250426 and canceld the credit card.
I have Lifelock and Home Title protection that I have alerted.
The second time I recived any response from Chicago Animal Ambulance , Inc/ Medical transportation was an email dated 05/06/2026.
The scammer insists that I never filled out the form to dispatch a driver. Will not credit the $350.00 charge stolen.
Who orders and ambulance without providing the stats?
And if the scammers claims were true, why didn't the company answer the phone, or send me an additional correspondence email on the date of service of 04/23/2026, clarifying the pick up address?
I filed a complaint with the IL Attorney Generals Office, and with the FBI for internet crimes as their site claims to travel over state lines.
The following day I expained to our Vet, not MedVetER that we were scammed and she noted that this particular company used to be legit but the man retired. I have a letter from the Vet clarifying that the business is closed. I have been busy circulating to all vets in the area about this scammer. These scammers stole this website.
