Chef's Plate - after one year
I have been ordering from Chef's Plate for about a year now. Although I enjoy the convenience, I do find the recipes to be repetitive ... same spicing, same vegetables (spinach, carrots). Overall, I am satisfied.

New flavours and More Fun
We decided to try to taste some new flavours and this was a quick and simple way to accomplish that idea. But the best thing was working together which was enjoyable and easy.

Worth it
The quality of the ingredients being sent is surprisingly high, and the meals have been nothing but awesome.
However, your support/complaint system is very lacking. I tried to report issues with my most recent delivery, but the site makes it near impossible to.
Also, using FedEx as a courier is awful. They keep screwing my delivery up.

Taking payments without consent
So I was inquiring about Chefs plate and had to enter my payment information to view the menu, but I never clicked confirm payment as I was just seeing what my options were. Almost two weeks later, I had a box outside my door from this company. I never realized I received a confirmation saying the money was taken from my account a few days prior, as it shouldn't have been. Then a week later, I got 3 random meals I never even chose and got charged for them as well. I don't have much money so these unexpected payments caused another payment to bounce which put me out even more. On the bright side, the food itself was delicious.. I just don't like how any of this happened.

Delicious but more veg options please
The food so far has been very delicious, but I wish there were more vegetarian options, especially ones that aren't rice-based. I ended up getting two dishes twice because the veg options are so limited and the rice-and-beans options aren't worth the money. I can put together rice and bean dishes easily myself from shelf-stable ingredients I already own for way cheaper... that's not why I want these boxes.

Always good except this week
Timing of delivery is always good, but this past week, I had three meals delivered. two of the meals contained potatoes as a significant part of the meal, and in both cases the potatoes were completely black inside and I didn't make the meals. Very disappointed.

I haven't got delivered a single box yet. One said it was delivered and wasnt. The second one just hasn't came at all and says they its still on the way and its thursday! When the box is supossed to come on Monday. Do better please

Some of the meat was bad
Some of the meat was bad when I got the package. Instead of sending me new meat I required for meals I got a credit… which doesn’t help me have meals this week.

Missing Key Information
Normally Chef's Plate is really good, but today we started cooking one of the meals we ordered, and the recipe card did not state what oven temperature we needed to cook our meal. I checkef online and the recipe didn't say it there either. I called support and they told me they couldn't find the temperature and to just try to cook it without burning it. I am not happy with this unhelpful response and am unsure if I will order again.

There are multiple choices on the menu and they keep the prices reasonable. The portions are good, many times leaving extra for a follow up lunch.
