It's a con

It's a con. They take your money for a flight then cancel the deal after 48hrs. Avoid at all costs. We are reporting them to Atol and our credit card company. Stay well clear.

I booked my tickes through the online…

I booked my tickes through the online cheapfly competitive prices,but after waiting for 2days I got a response that my inbound flight is confirmed,but out bound is still pending..& no clue as to how long it wld be on the waiting list n 50/50 chance of getting it. The refund too wld take a long time. This was terrible.
I was not even able to cancel it so was left with no other option then to purchase the tickets at a much higher price from the Cheapfly coustomer service.
I really appreciate the service provided by Roston as he helped me with a variety of options. If im booking nxt time with cheap fly,I would book through him rather then almost getting scammed by the cheap fly online trap.

Avoid This Company at All Costs- Will take money but will not issue airline ticket

I booked an international airline ticket through Cheapfly and paid approximately £1,700. After waiting 4 days, no ticket was issued.
When I contacted customer service, I was shocked to be told that I needed to pay an additional £700 to receive the ticket, even though the original price was clearly displayed on their website and I had already completed the booking and payment. This feels misleading and unfair.
On the 4th day, I called and instructed them to cancel the transaction. I also sent an email confirming my cancellation request. Despite this, the payment remained blocked on my bank account for several days. Fortunately, the pending transaction was eventually cancelled by my bank.
This experience caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. In my opinion, the pricing and booking process are not transparent, and I will be reporting this matter to Trading Standards for investigation.

I would strongly recommend that others exercise extreme caution before booking with this company.

However, we would like to clarify several important points regarding booking reference CFS97614.

The fare selected at the time of booking was a highly promotional fare sourced through consolidator. As is standard throughout the travel industry, fares remain subject to real-time availability and are not guaranteed until the booking has been fully ticketed and confirmed by the airline or ticket supplier. Unfortunately, during the ticketing validation process, the original fare was no longer available, and the only available inventory at that time was at a higher fare level.

The transaction initiated during the booking process was a pre-authorisation (temporary card authorisation) designed to verify the payment method pending fare confirmation. Upon your request to cancel the booking, the reservation was cancelled and the authorisation was promptly voided from our end.

It is important to note that the release of a voided authorisation is controlled by the card issuer and banking network, not by the travel agency. This is why some customers may continue to see a temporary pending hold until their bank completes the authorisation release process. As you have acknowledged, the authorisation was ultimately removed, and no funds were collected by our company.

We understand that fare fluctuations and unsuccessful bookings can be frustrating. However, the circumstances described do not involve a completed sale, issued ticket, or retained payment. We remain committed to transparency and to operating in accordance with established airline distribution and payment authorisation procedures.
