Very poor service
Very poor service. I purchased the service by mistake and requested a cancellation and refund, but they refused, claiming that their policy does not allow it — even though I never used the program at all. Their support team is also very unhelpful
I subscribed for a 1-month basic plan…
I subscribed for a 1-month basic plan and I don't think the service is worth the money. I mainly needed it for editing text but it failed to give me good results, even compared to free ChatGPT. First, it was almost impossible to get what I asked for. For, example, it kept giving me text as connected paragraphs, with no line breaks, and with wrong punctuations. It seems that it was impossible for it to comprehend what a line break is so it kept giving me the same result despite my many requests and clarifications. This is only an example of the relative inferiority of the tool as I had the same issue with many other aspects. I simply had to stop using it and switched back to ChatGPT.
On top of that, I was upset by the fact that my subscription was automatically renewed although I did purchase what is described as a "one-month" plan, which indicates that the subscription will stop unless I ask for renewal. The purchase page doesn't clearly state that they will renew automatically. When I complained and asked for a refund, they explained that the renewal terms were mentioned in the long terms and conditions page –which we all know that non has time to read– and they refused to give a refund despite explaining that I don't need the service and I'm happy for it to be cancelled immediately (I was still at the beginning of the renewal then).
The only little advantage of it was that it probably dealt slightly better with resources (citations) compared to ChatGPT. But, honestly, I don't think this compensates for the lower quality of text editing or the bad experience overall.
I thought I was getting ChatGPT
I thought I was getting ChatGPT. Their advertising is deceptive. I have canceled my subscription. I have read that they are not answering any requests for refunds.
Unethical company; Don't use them
I was trying to sign up for OpenAI's ChatGPT paid version and mistakenly signed up for Chatly's GPT paid version instead. Their logo (white and black) and app (black background) looks very similar to OpenAI's chatGPT. I made an honest mistake. I contact Chatly a few minutes after I subscribed and they refused to provide me a refund. I didn't even use their app. I don't understand why they would hold me hostage as a customer and not refund my money even when they know that it was an honest mistake and I hadn't intended to sign up for their service. The fact that they would design their logo and app similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT tells me that they're just out to fish prospects like me who are looking for OpenAI's ChatGPT. Quite unethical.
Way to expensive
Way to expensive, tried to unsubsrice but they charged me anyway for the next month…. Tried to reach out to them but never got an answer
Do not use or subscribe
Do not use or subscribe, a big scam company If you subscribe through desktop they won't allow you to use it on phone. No history can be saved or downloaded, costumer service is not helpful at all. I asked for refund exactly 45 minutes after I subscribed because I realised I can't use it on phone. Still they have rejected to return the money. They haven't mentioned anywhere that you can only use your subscription on desktop.
Chatly is a Complete Scam
Chatly is a Complete Scam – Stay Away!
I wish I had read more reviews before wasting my money on Chatly. This service is a total scam! All they do is charge you for access to features that are already free on other AI platforms. On top of that, they’re collecting your data without providing any real value.
Their refund policy is a joke—if you don’t request a refund within 30 minutes (yes, you read that right), you’re out of luck. And even if you do, good luck getting them to actually process it. They don’t issue refunds, period.
They claim to have 24/7 customer service, but in reality, they take 3+ days to respond to emails, and when they do, it’s with the most generic, useless responses imaginable. They don’t solve anything—they just waste your time.
Do yourself a favor and avoid Chatly at all costs. It’s a scam designed to take your money and run.
Brand squatters! Be careful!!!
I was also scammed. Go to hell, brand squatters! They will mislead you and refuse to refund you.
scam, pretend to be chatgpt
Misleading clients on purpose. I hope they ll end up in jail.
Plus there app is far from offering the same quality as chatgpt
Scam website looks like ChatGPT
I recently signed up for a yearly subscription to ChatlyAI, mistakenly believing it to be associated with the official ChatGPT service by OpenAI. The website’s landingpage suggests that it has new features and things like that also the design, wording, and overall presentation intentionally create confusion, leading unsuspecting users like myself to believe they are subscribing to a reputable AI service.
Once I realized my mistake, I immediately canceled my subscription, but unfortunately, their refund policy is extremely restrictive. Despite having paid for an entire year, they refuse to offer even a partial refund, citing vague and unfair terms.
Here’s why you should think twice before subscribing:
Deceptive Marketing: The website and logo closely resembles well-known AI services, misleading users into thinking they are signing up for something else (chatgpt).
Strict Refund Policy: Unless you cancel within 30 minutes (yes, 30 minutes!), you are locked in, with no recourse—even if you haven't fully used the service.
Unethical Business Model: They capitalize on user confusion and rely on restrictive refund terms to keep your money.
I regret falling for this and hope my review will prevent others from making the same mistake. Stay away from ChatlyAI and only use verified platforms like OpenAI’s official website.
If you’ve been scammed by them, I suggest reporting the website and sharing your experience to prevent further deception.
Terrible Customer Service!
Due to the system's design, I misread and thought I was on ChatGPT. I paid for a quarterly plan and then realized within minutes what was wrong. After paying, I didn't use it a single time and immediately contacted customer support.
They then notified me that there would be no refund even though I hadn't used it since purchasing it by mistake. They then stopped responding and said they wouldn't offer a refund. Terrible customer service and I don't recommend it!
