I seek CGTrader's customer support because of dispute over an order, I sent 2 mails requesting for refund and both of them are intentionally ignored by CGTrader's customer service over 7 work days, it is the worst customer service I have experienced in over 10 years of experiences in this sector, its like they are intentionally ignoring over the complaints I filed against them a while ago, avoid if you can.

After buying a couple models that were fine, I ran into a terrible one. Supposedly it was checked by CGTrader but I highly doubt it as it had many visible errors like huge gaps between polygons, overall very bad topology, dents and bump on an airplane fuselage what should have been a simple cylinder...and so on. You get to know a company's real value when you need something fixed, or refunded,and how that process is handled. They claim to reply to all enquieries within 2-5 business days - well, that has been passed and not only I havent got a refund for the unusable, terrible quality model, I havent even got a reply. Well I guess I lost 14usd - CGTrader and the seller lost at least 20x14 just in this project, because thats how many more low poly planes I need, but certainly wont spend my money here. I understand now why it is a lot cheaper than TS.

Edit: I got a reply and a refund after 10+ days...but they also removed my negative review on the terrible product - you should keep in mind when purchasing that sellers can ask CGTrader to simply remove negative ratings

CG trader has been my go-to website for 3d models. They provide a large library for my various project requirements, and I get the best value.

The ugliest experience in online shopping ever, for me. Recently there was a spring sale, i spent couple hours to sort some items for me, I purchased all of those. I downloaded only couple ones, because was very late in the night for me. Next day, when i tried to access cgtrader website again, i got the infamous error CGTRADER TOO MANY REQUESTS. I already sent some days ago message to tech suport, no answer so far... So imagine, buying items, and not able to download them. I strongly advise you to avoid these scammers.

Absolutely dreadful customer service. Every response felt copy-pasted, dismissive, and designed to avoid addressing the actual issues raised. I provided detailed, itemised discrepancies and spent over two weeks trying to get straight answers, only to receive vague corporate deflections about “platform differences” and “acceptable variations.” The creators on the platform may be talented, but CGTrader’s handling of customer disputes is genuinely one of the worst support experiences I’ve had in 30 years of game development.

Handful of good models but mostly garbage.
Don't trust ratings of models on the website, the sellers can just ask support to remove bad ratings. There are sellers such as ClockWorkCreations which do this so it appears they have a perfect rating but actually do not.

The STL purchasing process was very straightforward & quick! Will definitely use again.
