Didn’t expect it

Didn’t expect it, but Cell C really leveled up! Great network now. Before it just didn’t have great network especially when there isn’t electricity in my area but now Cell C is working great. It is now fast , reliable and has network anytime and at any give moment.

I am a prepaid Cell C customer since 2014. I have lost R 800 in airtime since 01 June through unsolicited subscriptions even though my number ********** has always been blocked for subscriptions, I phoned numerous times since 12 September and spoke to Teddy, Zama, Zinanda, Luyanda, Emanuel, Melelisa, and another Luyanda. in the interim I was called back by Ms E Ziqubu and was refunded R 460 but the deductions continued, on Saturday 4 October when I spoke to Emanuel and explained again that only two deductions is admissible being for two routers @ R 5 each per month he advised that I put the router sim cards in a phone and check for subscriptions on them, I found that on sim card **********, that has always be in a router and never in a phone, was 5 subscriptions each named "Cell C Antivirus advice", I then spoke to Melelisa the same day to find out how subscriptions can arrive on a sim card that has only be in a router, she rep**** it happens automatically, I advised Melelisa that I need at least another R 340 refund, I received an SMS from Cell C that my my query was received and will be attended to shortly ref **********83. I advised Melelisa that if the R 340 refund was not forthcoming I intend writing reviews on Hellopeter, Google and a complaint will be sent to the Communications Ombud.

We had the most unforgettable trip out in the wild, and Cell C proved to be unstoppable! My girls and I were constantly connected, sharing laughs, memories, and even selfies without a single glitch. The signal never failed us, no matter how far off the beaten path we went.

After struggling with other networks before, I can finally say I’ve found the best one ,Cell C, you’ve earned my 5 stars! 🙌🔥

Going the Xtra Mile

Employee Abdool Linda and Linda Dlamini from the City View Cell C in Durban were absolutely fantastic. The service received deserves recognition and these 2 guys worked tirelessly to get my new correct and new phone aligned. There were ongoing challenges and their patience and wonderful kindness was simply outstanding. Well done.

Cell c system scams on airtime advance …

Cell c is using some software which take airtime without service and if you log a complain they will tell yu to wait for their call hence they won't phone I'm really disappointed how many are being scammed with the same style always be careful when using your airtime and taking advance airtime they will milk y

Never get a Cell C contract

Never get a Cell C contract. I was spammed countless times and kept saying that I do not want to renew my contract. Then they billed me after clearly stating that I do not want to receive minutes or data from them. Their data would run out ridiculously quick throughout my contract period.

Beware! It's Impossible to Cancel a CellC Contrtact After Expiry!

I strongly advise against using CellC due to their questionable business practices. Despite following their exact instructions to convert an overdue contract to prepaid, I have received no acknowledgment from them. I sent formal requests on company letterhead on the following dates:

July 29, 2025, at 15:52
August 5, 2025, at 18:44
August 26, 2025, at 16:06

CellC requires 30 days' notice for such requests but fails to respond within this timeframe. My simple request to switch to prepaid has been ignored, leading me to seek a more reliable and trustworthy service provider.

when its time to end contracts they find ways to appear like you didnt contact them and continue to charge more,I lost 2 life number ,I dont recomend anyone to have a contract with Cell C

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Cell…

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Cell C lately! The network coverage has improved a lot in my area, and I’ve been enjoying a much faster and more stable connection. Customer service has also been responsive and friendly whenever I’ve had questions. It’s great to see a network that listens to feedback and keeps getting better.

Cell C WIFI calling

I am very unhappy with Cell C. They supposedly upgraded WIFI calling while I was overseas and promptly left me without the service for weeks. I complained and they managed to restore my WIFI service after a further two weeks but then it stopped again. They promised more that a week ago to restore it but nothing has happened since. Cell C reception is very poor in my area and without WIFI calling I basically have no Cell C service at home.

they don't deserve my 1 star, but i cant give less. So to start my issue with cell c, when i had an unfortunate event on the 19/07/2025 and had to claim from C insurance. absolute horrible experience. they take for ever to get in touch with you. there WhatsApp assist is non existent. when you do manage to speak to a consultant, all they can say is 5 - 7 working days . it is now 08/08/2025 and I have still not received my replacement device. if I don't call they don't communicate. I'm so very disappointed in Cell C insurance
