Great choice of dresses and the service is first class.

My daughter and I had a lovely experience when we visited to look for my Mother of the Bride outfit. From the first welcome into the store until leaving with a beautiful outfit, the service was excellent. We were assisted by Shaleen, who was so helpful and knowledgeable, and because she listened and understood my needs, my preferences, and my style, she was able to find me an assortment of dresses to try on. I never felt rushed, I was encouraged to take my time and try on as many times as I needed to make sure I found the right dress for me. Shaleen was happy to run back & forth finding the right accessories & colours to complement the dresses I was trying on. There’s a lovely friendly atmosphere in the store, and it was nice to have some input from other assistants on my choices. I am very happy with my purchases, and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Catherine’s of Partick to anyone looking for that special outfit.

Shopping for such a special occasion can be daunting, but Catherine’s of Partick made it a delight. Shaleen provided a relaxed, pressure-free environment and offered invaluable guidance. Her ability to select stunning dresses tailored to my needs was impressive. I highly recommend their professional and friendly service and I'm pleased I said "yes to the dress"! 😀

I was attended by an assistant called Shaleen who was attentive from the moment we entered the store She listened to what I was looking for and made me feel comfortable and was honest about what dresses suited me and what didn't I would be happy to shop or recommend Catherine's of Partick to friends and family.

Was visiting with my mum for a dress for my brothers wedding. She was helped by Kerri who was lovely and friendly. My mum was not ready to buy a dress (which she has every right to do so). Someone overheard my mum telling Kerri that she was going to show my dad and brother (which again SHE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO DO) This other woman then came over to my mum and was so rude. She basically made it out that my would never find an outfit as she had the wrong attitude to trying dresses on. My mum was so affronted, it was all she spoke about for hours.

I could have let this go as I myself work in retail and know how hard it can be but this woman with balding dark hair then spoke to Kerri so awfully. I heard her say thay she didnt do this and she didnt do that.

She did nothing wrong, again she was so kind and friendly towards us. The other woman was the problem.

This other woman then walked up another woman who then looked over in my direction and rolled her eyes. This is disgraceful. We were given a note from Kerri who seemed flustered by this point and we left.

We bought the same dress elsewhere. We will never be back! Ever.

I had a fantastic experience, and Cerys, who served me, was truly outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and made the whole process enjoyable. I ended up purchasing a beautiful dress, a hat, shoes, and a bag, all thanks to her excellent assistance. I couldn't be happier with the service I received!

I am the mother of the groom and was starting to feel a little anxious as I was struggling to find an outfit for the wedding, when a friend of mine suggested Catherine’s of Partick.
It’s appointments only and my personal shopper was Shaleen. She was very friendly and instantly put me at ease.
I didn’t know what I was looking for, so we talked through various styles and then she suggested some dresses for me to try on. After only a few dresses, we found the perfect one for me. She then showed me a gorgeous hatinator to match, which completed my outfit.
A huge thank you to Shaleen for all her help and advise. It was a wonderful experience and I left the shop feeling delighted and relieved.

Visited the shop today with my daughter and friend looking for my mother of the bride outfit. Jaqueline was absolutely fabulous with us very patient and knowledgeable about all her dresses and the whole experience was much easier than I had anticipated. Would definitely recommend Catherine’s of Partick to anyone looking for an outfit.

Today I came in to the store to get a dress for a wedding and was served by Shaleen! She was amazing from start to finish, made me feel at ease as I’m quite self conscious after having a baby but she managed to find me the right styles for my shape and I finally found one I loved on. Thanks again!

Thankyou to CofP and especially to Tanya for her patience and understanding when I came up a few weeks ago searching for a full length dress for my sons wedding this August. We travelled 4 hours from Lincolnshire but it was worth every minute. You weren’t exaggerating when you said on the phone that you had a big selection…huge!!! If ever I want another special dress, I won’t even bother looking anywhere else!! At 5’ 10” with no shoes on, I’ve never tried floor length dresses on that are too long for me and fit where they should!!! I felt very elegant.
In hindsight, wish I d gone up on a weekday (went on a Sunday) when the alterations people work so that I could have left it with you to alter (waist/hips a little big and a bit long). That would have meant only 1 trip back to collect. 2 trips back..for fitting then collection felt a bit much.
Very pleased I went though. So happy I phoned up to ask if you had any floor length dresses and you told me ..‘I think it will be worth your while to come up even though it is a long way’. SO TRUE. Thankyou again, Lynn C.

I had a great experience at my appointment. Lisa was amazing and knew exactly the dresses I wanted to see by my explanations. They had all the dresses that I wanted to try on and I chose a beautiful dress for my son’s wedding in Thailand. and also another one that I can also use during the wedding. Lovely inviting shop and super friendly helpful staff. A great experience for that special occasion dress.

We were initially greeted by a lovely young girl (can't remember her name unfortunately) who was as helpful & as patient as she could possibly be - which is the only reason I've not given this review one star.

Everything else about this experience was dreadful. The shop boasts 100s of dresses - which is true if you're under a size 16 - anything above that & you have a choice of 1 small rail with no option to even order anything else in in your size.

We were shopping for MOB dress for my Mam (size 16-18) for my sister's wedding & said straight away she wanted something young & fresh - nothing frumpy. She was willing & open to try anything & money was no object. There was literally not 1 dress that any of us liked. However she agreed to try on the suggested garments - all of which looked awful on her. Ill fitting, gaudy, very frumpy & absolutely did not flatter her shape one bit.

After trying about 8 - 10 dresses on she was losing her enthusiasm & said she'd had enough which was when the assistant said she'd have to tell her bosses. At this point we were swarmed by another 2 - 3 assistants who were brought in to basically pressure sell. They were bringing more awful dresses up & became really pushy about her trying them on even after she'd said no to them. At one point my sister caught one of the older ones roll her eyes & sigh in frustration. I only wish I'd saw that at the time because I would have called her out there & then.

We also had to stand for 90 mins because there's no chairs for relatives to sit on -never known that in any other similar shop, and unlike any other appointment for MOB dresses we've been to, there was no privacy. Tiny impractical changing rooms & loads of other people walking passed when you're getting changed.

Overall an incredibly disappointing experience. Overpriced, overhyped & if you don't appreciate having the frustrations of impatient, commission grabbing staff made very clear to you, then I'd give this place a swerve.

Lisa was great very patient knew her stock and narrowed down after asking what I didn’t want. Great choice of dresses lots of different styles colours and fabrics. Dress and matching hat cost less than I expected.

The ladies at Catherine’s were very helpful and patient. I would urge other customers to try on things that you wouldn’t normally wear… you’ll be pleasantly surprised 😊

Shaleen was a great help. I had seen an outfit that I liked and Catherine of Partick was a stockist. Excellent customer service. The shop didn’t have the outfit in my size so this has been ordered. Great advice from Shaleen and very relaxed experience.

My daughter and i were shoping for my MOB dress, we were greeted with a very warm welcoming lady who passed us onto the most patient assistant Sarah. After apologising for loving every dress Sarah had me trying on, we managed to whittle the choice down to THE ONE. Sarah your knowledge and patience is immpecable, we thank you so much for all your help and understanding, and would recommend the shop and staff to anyone looking for an outfit for any special occasion.

Friends recommended Catherine's of Partick to me and our shopping experience there exceeded my expectations. Jacqueline treated us with so much kindness and courtesy and made accommodation for my mobility needs. Although I didn't really have an idea of what sort of Mother of the Bride dress I was looking for, Jacqueline patiently provided many different options until we found the perfect ensemble for our special event.
