Cause blisters!
After wearing the shoes the second time, it causes blisters on my ankles! I'm not happy and can't return them. I would not recommend Cariuma shoes. Don't believe the hype.
WHERE IS MY ORDER from APRIL?
I have a couple of Cariuma sneakers I purchased back a few years ago. They have been such quality designed.
Therefore in April I saw the 1/2 priced sneaker clearance sale,so I “Pre Ordered” 3 pairs for $144.00. I figured it may be a month before they arrive. Here we are June 19th & NO arrival!!!
I have reached out so many times and I feel the AI is who is responding not a REAL person.
I now have read hundreds of dissatisfied customers that have also been SCAMMED!
You must reach out to all of us and either tell the truth on ALL our orders or REFUND US OUR MONEY!!!
Scam - I paid for a pre-order that never shipped
I paid for a pre-order that was supposed to ship 4 weeks ago. I've emailed the company a number of times, only get automated responses with no ETA or way to get refunded. Such a scam.
Don’t buy if you live in the UK
I’m based in the UK and ordered a pair of trainers on May 6th. They still haven’t arrived. Cariuma Care just straight up stopped responded to my emails, so I contacted their e-commerce partner, Reach on the advice of Paypal. Reach declined to help, so I began the process of getting a refund through Paypal. Since Paypal have got involved, I’ve received notification that the shoes have been shipped, but they appear to be stuck in transit. I’ve ordered from Cariuma before and while they took some time to arrive, it was a pretty straightforward process. This time, it’s been very disappointing. I paid £19 for international shipping on top of the price of the shoes. The purchase confirmation email quoted a delivery time of 6-7 days. It’s been over 30 days and I’m out of pocket to the tune of £135.16. If you’re not based in the US, my advice is this - do not buy trainers from Cariuma. While they claim to ship internationally, I don’t believe they are remotely competent to do so. It’s a shame as the shoes are comfortable and look pretty good. But don’t get tempted. You’ll get stung.
Beware ordering from Cariuma
They charged my credit card 6 weeks ago for 3 pairs of sneakers - they’re very efficient at charging people! - but I can’t get any information as to when to expect delivery. Just generic unhelpful nonspecific email responses.
I googled for a phone number to reach an actual human but the only number online doesn’t work. I’m beginning to wonder if this company is legitimate.

Received one pair of sneakers today, June 23. According to the original email receipt for the order, they were supposed to be “shipped by June 2, 2025” but a few weeks late is better than not receiving them at all. Now waiting for the other 2 pairs.
Btw all the sneakers have gone on sale since I ordered & paid for them but I’m not even bothering to argue this point with the company. Just hoping to get the other sneakers (they’re canvas) before the end of summer.

I am in the same boat as many others. I paid for my sneakers in March and still don’t have them. They have stopped responding to my emails. I love their shoes but won’t purchase from them again. I am wondering if they are still in business.
Scam!
They took my money a month ago, shoes were due to arrive within 7 days and never showed up. Ive sent several emails and insta messages with no response (theyre still sending me emails to try to buy more shoes though!). I've always loved cariuma shoes as theyre so comfortable and last well, so I was prepared to pay over the odds - what an expensive mistake! Like many of the recent reviews they've taken money without providing the goods, and there's only a computer generated response when followed up. Even if youve had a positive experience in the past, it seems somethings going on, proceed with caution!!!

I’m very disappointed with the quality
I’m very disappointed with the quality. After wearing them just once in light rain, large yellowish stains started to appear all over the fabric. It turns out the glue used in the construction is bleeding through the material, and it looks terrible.
No response, no shoes
Pre ordered (and pre paid) multiple pairs of shoes. Received notification they would be shipped by May 23rd. I've requested a status update via email and text and only received an automated response noting they'd respond within 24-72 hours. Have not received any response in one week.

Pre ordered shoes, purchased and paid for in March and due for shipping 23 and 31 May respectively, but so far have failed to do so.
A somewhat vague response of “we are so close to shipping” from Cariuma, followed by no response to subsequent e mail enquiries, leaves me with a strong suspicion that they may not arrive at all.
Fortunately, the purchase was via PayPal, who on submitting my tale of woe, refunded me immediately in full, perhaps they are aware of Cariumas limitations too!
Exceptional customer service from PayPal, exceptionally poor service from Cariuma.
Personally, I would avoid using them, their certainly fall far short of their advertising hype.

The worst customer service I've ever come across. Took my money on day of purchase. No shoes nearly a month later. Tried text and email but no response whatsoever. Stolen my money. DO NOT buy from them
Disappointing quality and no response from customer service
I bought a pair of trainers from Cariuma in October 2024 and was initially really pleased with them. However, after just six months of fairly light use, holes developed in the lining and padding. For shoes that cost £115 plus high postage fees, I expected far better durability - especially from a brand that markets itself as high quality and sustainable.
I contacted Cariuma’s support team to request a refund or exchange. While I received an initial response, all follow-up emails have been ignored. It's extremely frustrating, and I'll now be pursuing a chargeback through my bank.
I’m genuinely surprised this company still has such high ratings on Trustpilot, given how many reviews mention similarly poor customer service. I won’t be ordering again and will be advising others to avoid as well.

Customer service does not respond to email, SMS, or WhatsApp. My shoes are over a week late and no update about what's going on.
Non-existent customer service
I have been trying to contact customer service for two weeks to exchange one of two pairs of shoes I purchased for a size smaller. Every time I try to initiate this online (which is what the automated email asks me to do every time I email them), I can’t select the too-large shoe that I paid full price for because the other pair is a final sale pair. As an aside, I have another pair of cariuma shoes in my normal size and thus ordered the current shoes in that size, but they run larger than my previous style. I’m not even trying to get a return…I just want the correct size in the $140 shoes I bought!

Shoes are great, but customer service is non-existent so a complete pain if you need to chase for delivery etc.....

The customer service is terrible. The only way you can contact them is through email. If you do end up getting a response, it will be many days later. I’ve been trying to get an issue solved for a month. I’ve asked that someone from the company call me since there is no phone number listed. I have yet to hear a reply. 
Bad Customer Service
What a Bad Customer Service especially considering the prices. I ordered several pairs of shoes, one was a pre order only shipped by 30th June (or even later!). I asked to split the order and was told that this was not possible without any plausible reason. However, it was possible to take more than 500 Euros immediately and let a customer wait three months for the order. Unfortunately I cannot use my right to revoke the contract according to EU law because it took to long to get a reply from the customer service.
Will Never Order again. Highly disappointed.
