Like a number of people
Like a number of people, I preordered and paid on may 3rd. Since then no shoes, no response, no communication, no refund, nothing at all. They don’t answer emails and there is no phone number. They have my money-I am working with my credit card company to get charge reversed.
Horrible - Do not preorder
I'm shocked at the initial review from Trust Pilot. I preordered and paid for shoes in May that were to be delivered June 30. No updates, no information - just at the beginning of July (1st), I was told they were getting them ready. After hours of studying their website, I learned that they won't be ready until September 30. Too little, too late. My emails to ask them to cancel my order and refund my money have gone unanswered - other than stating they will respond to my email in 24-72 hours - yet they do not respond. I'm at the point where I'm going to challenge the charge on my credit card to try and get my money back.
Good company gone bad
I ordered a received a pair of there shoes last year and pre-ordered a pair in February to be shipped in June. No shoes and no response to numerous email inquiries and the customer service number doesn't connect.
Doesn't matter how cute the shoes are if you never receive them.

I ordered three pairs of sneakers on March 19, 2025: order #CCEC1246595. One of them (the Salvas) was available immediately and I preordered the other two, which were supposed to be available on May 23. I received an email right away confirming the order was received.
Then, radio silence. I emailed Cariuma on March 28 to ask uh...where are the Salvas? They blamed the delay on "shipping partners" and i received the order on April 5.
Then, nothing. May 23 came and went. Over a month later, on June 30, I emailed to ask where were the other two pairs of sneakers I ordered? At that point I was frustrated with the lack of communication and had lost interest. I requested a refund of $87.20 + tax for those two pairs.
It is now July 15 and I still have not received a response. I got a couple of generic emails again blaming the delay on "shipping partners" and claiming to be preparing the order. I reiterated that I no longer want the order and would like a refund instead. I have not received a response to date.
Even if Cariuma was experiencing problems with "shipping partners" -- and they must be big problems indeed -- this does not explain the total lack of communication regarding order status, shipping, etc., well past when the preordered pairs were supposed to be available. If I had not reached out to Cariuma directly, I doubt I would have even received the first pair, let alone the second two.
I order online frequently, including internationally, and have never encountered a company with such unreliable "shipping partners"...I'm guessing b/c that's a BS excuse.
My advice? Steer clear.
Do not do a pre-order with them!
Not a positive experience! Preordered shoes for $ 145, they promised 6/30 shipping. They took my money on 4/5 and STILL haven't shipped by 07/21. All attempts to contact them through their care email address were not responded to - automated responses and nothing else, tracking does not work. Considering the many positive reviews, I can’t imagine this is a scam company, but it sure feels like one.
Horrific customer service
Horrific customer service. One of the three pairs of shoes that I bought and paid for hasn’t arrived and I didn’t like the did so try to initiate the return service. The link does not work so you cannot download a returns label on their customer service is totally unacceptable. Despite multiple emails and SMS messages no one has got back to me. I’ve lost hundreds of pounds and I’m very angry.

Absolutely appalling non- existent customer service. I ordered a pair of trainers on 2nd May on pre-order, indicating they would be shipped at beginning of June. I am still yet to receive them and despite several emails and contact via DM on insta, have received no actual updates ( just pre- written generic responses). They still have my money. Do NOT purchase from this company.
I bought trainers several years ago and it was a positive experience but something has happened and I would advise anyone not to go anywhere near or waste their time and money.

Terrible terrible experience - no wonder they don't allow for reviews on their website. Tried to pre-order shoes that promised 6/30 shipping. Not only did they take my money on 4/30 and STILL haven't shipped by 7/7, all attempts to contact through their care email address were not responded to. TBH this is likely a scam company.

I love Cariuma sneakers but their custumer service is the worst! I ordered a pair of Oca on april 4 and the order was supposed to be shipped by may 23rd. I sill haven't received my order, they don't reply to the emails, and when they finally do answer, it's completely unhelpful. At this point, i just want a full refund but i Guess that won't happen any time soon either... Terrible experience!
Unacceptable
An order. A delivery time of 6 to 7 days. Almost a month has passed. No money, no product, no dispatch, no refund, no compensation. On the company's social networks, numerous similar complaints. A behaviour that could be fraudulent and is, at the very least, highly incompetent.

Buyer beware with this company! I ordered shoes in March for my daughter in law’s birthday in May. I STILL have not received them and customer service rarely responds. And the worst part is the company is STILL selling these shoes in their online store. Absolutely terrible!
illegal practice
I ordered a pair of trainers. They were a size too big (they say to order next size up if you are a half size but this didn't work for me). I asked to exchange. They said they would not as a sale item. They have the size I need in stock on website. I told them in that case I would accept a refund. They said no it's a sale item we don't offer refunds. I told them this was illegal under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. I returned the shoes to their UK head office as their returns address is not publically available. I sent them a copy of the receipt of postage. I have heard NOTHING back after several attempts to contact them. AWFUL

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Great shoes - terrible customer service. I ordered a pair of oca lows in March. They still have not been delivered. My many inquiries are either net with silence or a form email which contains no useful information. Their customer service number is inoperable as is their SMS chat box. To make matters worse, I've received at least three mass marketing emails recently telling me the shoes I ordered are back in stock. When I inquire as to when I can expect to receive my order, I get no response. This is absolutely the last pair of cariumas I will order. Vejas are comparable and actually have a functioning customer service department.

Shoes are great but their customer service is so poor it's really not worth it. Ordered 3 pairs in February. First two (on sale, not a pre order) took 3 months, 4 emails and 3 texts to get delivered. Remaining pair - on pre order - were supposed to ship 4 weeks ago. No sign. 3 emails, platitudes of a response in 24-72 hours remain unmet.

Love Cariuma shoes, but pre-orders mean nothing
I love Cariuma shoes and their ethos. I have several pairs I've bought previously. However - my most recent experience has been awful. I pre-ordered shoes back in March (3 months ago), stating they would go on sale in May. May came and went, no shoes, no update. By end of June, the shoes had been on general sale and we're out of stock in my size. After 3 emails to customer services over 3 weeks with no reply, it finally took a text message to get a response, only to be told there would be a shipping update soon... Which there wasn't. More chasing, more no response. In the end, I bought the shoes somewhere else, for half the price, and got next day delivery.
I'll still buy Cariuma shoes, I just won't be buying them direct any more.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
I ordered a pair of shoes at the start of June, followed by another when I got an in-stock notification for one that they hadn't had in my size.
Neither have arrived, despite "6-7 day international shipping" estimates. No updates. Tracking information says the orders haven't even been processed, let alone dispatched...
Same issues as everyone else. Initial bot reply saying "Our shipping partners are experiencing some delays in updating tracking details... you should see tracking updates and receive your order in the next few days", and then nothing at all.
I've tried to contact the company four times now, with absolutely no response. Emails to the care team are just straight-up ignored. SMS messages don't go through / the number has been disconnected.
I'm currently raising disputes on the charges with my credit card company, as I'm £300 out of pocket with nothing to show for it, and every attempt to contact them to chase down, or cancel, my order, or to speak to an actual human being, has failed.

we ordered shoes in February of 2025, and as of June 2025, the order says "Not Fulfilled."
Contacting customer service is hit & miss, with mostly miss... autobot replies of "we'll get back to you in... 72 hours" and of course, more than 72 hours pass with no reply. Sometimes you get "hey, we've had unexpected transportation delays, so just be patient. we're just about ready to ship your order" but when you ask "when?" they say "we don't know, but we promise to let you know." How can you be just about ready to ship something but have no idea when you'll actually do it?
it stinks because we actually like the shoes. but if they're not fulfilling orders any more... sounds like a one-way ticket to Bankrupt-City.

Same experience as everyone in the blog. I paid for my shoes one month ago and I am still waiting for them! I sent a message to the customer suppor and i havent get any answer!!
Let´s do something to ban this "company" and its website in our countries. They just care of taking our money but not delivering the goods.
