good experience

it took a little bit longer than I expect but I get the money .
sending money through Paypal is not good because they charge fee, it's better to send the money directly to the bank account.

There was a good experience with them

There was a good experience with them, we truly appreciate their effective support.
We made a mistake at putting order. When we asked for resolution of our mistake, we faced very polite and resolution oriented service.
The way to go!

Has all characteristics of a scam.

I tried to file a claim only to find out the claim submission form does not work - like every negative review here says. The phone is also just an answering machine and no one calls back.

Looking a bit deeper, the address they use is one of another company. The domain is held through a proxy.

It seems this is a total scam basically, and unfortunately I fell for it.

It seems all positive review for this site are fake. They all come from profiles with just one review or from profiles that all give similar reviews on the same group of websites like this one, phdresearch, etc.

I have also only one review because created a trustpilot profile to warn other people. Just verify the above things for yourself and you will see this company seems not to exist.

I contacted them via email to see if maybe I am wrong and they do honour claims after all, in which case I will update this review.

Finalize the claim

I have used carinsurent car hire excess insurance for 3 years. Unfortunately Avis charged me EUR 360 for a tiny scratch and also I had to claim. Although it took them 6 weeks to finalize the claim (probably due to covid19), I got the money and I am pleased to recommend.

value for the price

It was very easy to setup the policy I rent a car 4-5 times every year and I believe that it is a good value for the price of the annual worldwide rental car insurance.

very BAD service

very BAD service. NOT recommended at all.
I had a small damage in the car early July, I tried to report it several times on website, but page never worked. I tried to call several times, no one pick up. I left several message on answer machine, but they never call back. I emailed, several times and when they finally replied
1- They said they might reject the case as I took more than 2 weeks to inform them, ( by email they mean). they didn't consider all the frustration becuase of website doesn't work and noone seems to pick up with phone or check answer machine
2- they asked to get proof from rental company that they fixed the damage, they need fixing bill they paid and images. of course rental company refused.
3- they will make you sign paper that they will chase rental company to reduce the cost, and you must help and do whatever they want to get that done.

All of this before considering you case. they would reply to your email once every 2 or 3 weeks. you need to keep sending reminders for reply. After chasing them for 5 months, I finally got paid.

Even my year contract still valid, I rented 2 more cars but bought another insurance as I am not sure they will pay. Other companies might charge more but you wont make you go through all this to file a claim.

Think again before you purchase this cover

i made a claim about 4 months ago. Then it took 2 months for the company to ask for all sort of documents which were then provided. Since then the disapeared. No comunication whatsoever. Think again before buying this cover

Great insurance

Great insurance! Not only it covers me for a whole year, it also helped me solved an issue which I had with my last renal, saved me from chasing and interacting the rental company.
Highly Recommended!

The service is really great

The service is really great. I use Carinsurerent for few years now, doing yearly car insurance. I had few interactions with them and always got quick answers and help. I also had an insurance case this year while travelling abroad and they solved it for me by negotiating with a rental company that returned my money back. Recommended indeed.

If it had been faster, I would have given 5 stars.

It took about 3 month for my claim settling: accident and report in mid-January (in Jordan), and full money refund in mid-April, 2020. But I was not in hurry, so I appreciate the business of CarInsuRent. Their London phone did not work, but they answered by e-mail. They transfer money to PayPal only, but it is stated in the Agreement, so I expected that.
So, happy end finally.

I wrote a refund request more than a…

I wrote a refund request more than a month ago. February 19th, and today is April 6th! I sent them 5 letters reminding myself, but they ignore me! they asked me to write a review about myself, so now I'm writing it! do not mess if your money is dear to you!

The company replied that they paid. However, they mean a completely different case. Now all my claims they answer that they have already paid. Thus, by acquiring annual insurance you are entitled to only one reimbursement, I suppose.

I made a claim more than 5 weeks ago and haven't heard from them not even a reply saying they received the documents. I can never get through on the phone rather spend a bit more money and get a company that have normal customer service

Would buy the insurance again

The car rental company charged me with 500 EUR for 2 scratches on the car (I didn't make them, but this is another story). I've made a claim and got my money back in two months. The communication could be improved, you can wait for an answer for your email for a week or more.
