I cannot rate the engineer high enough that came out to fix my washing machine, Todor is extremely efficient and friendly, since he left we overloaded the machine which made the belt come off so I messaged him directly and he came back so quickly when he really didn’t have to, he has a heart of gold! ☺️

If I could put no starts I would. Brought a Candy bravo dishwasher in 2023 and to have it repaired three times in first few months and now the start button as stopped working again and the app does not work anymore on my machine as it is to Old !!!!! wish i never seen it.

If I could give 0 stars I would, i purchased a Candy washer/dryer in July 2023, the dryer part stopped drying the clothes after a year, I raised a complaint with Candy they took no responsibility and told me that because it was over the warranty period I would have to pay for an engineer, I refused this as the washer/dryer was not fit for purpose and hadnt lasted its lifetime expectancy. I have also had problems with it not spinning properly and it is also a very loud machine. I have now had one of the paddles that have snapped off, I would NOT recommended a Candy washer/dryer, terrible machines.

With regard to your reply.
I’ve contacted you already via email where apparently a manager called Karen answered- she lied about the dates engineers came out and was pretty hideous in her response.
I tried the phone and didn’t get a person.
The first time I tried the phone you called back and then hung up on me.
I’ve emailed the ceo of hoover Europe and had no response.
I contacted you through your Facebook page to seek some customer service and after 5 days of messaging the team there told me that Karen had sent me an email and that would be the end of you communications with me.
So please no need to pretend that you are interested- you have had my details by phone, email, Facebook, and you haven’t wished to communicate with me.
So I’ll take your response as you trying to look like a company who’s interested in discussing problems when the truth is you aren’t interested. No one seems to have any authority to say anything.
I’ve been left without any compensation for my burned clothes. And yet you are sending out engineers to fix the wiring problem with my model of machine.
It’s criminal that you could have caused deaths to my family and then you refuse to communicate with me. And that’s why it’s titled Awful.
Awful!
Our 4 year old tumble drier caught fire Christmas Eve. I had turned the machine on and it never turned off - just kept going until our house was filled with smoke.
We called the fire brigade and evacuated the kids and grandkids. Then had to empty the burning clothes ourselves.
The customer service has been awful.
I rang on hold and entered my number for them to call back- then the chap hung up on me.
So I emailed.
Then on New Year’s Eve an engineer came out to inspect the machine with no appointment or warning. They had tried to phone that day but I was at work.
My partner was home and let them in.
The chap told him it’s the machines fault- we will replace it and cover the contents.
Then they planned a delivery and collection without still speaking to us. I asked on email can we not have money to buy a different brand as I’ve lost faith in the safety of theirs.
Still no phone call.
Then we had a lots of different appointments by email so we weren’t actually sure what was happening.
I also raised that consumer rights requires a replaced item to last 6 years and they were offering no warranty at all.
Then I got an email from Karen saying that we hadn’t maintained the machine right- but I empty the fluff filter before every use and flush out the bottom part regularly.
And the fault was that the electronics didn’t turn off the machine at the end of the programme.
So she said we have no right to compensation for the washing that caught fire.
And they would honour us a 12 month warranty.
I was so angry at this point I felt it better not to respond.
Then I reached out to Candy Facebook to see if I could actually speak to someone through that.
Of course on the post they wrote how they want to escalate it for me but behind the scenes in messenger I had to send 9 different responses over about a week for them to finalise with the gist of - that Karen’s email was their last email and that they aren’t willing to engage or speak to me.
Case closed.
I’ve just sent an email to their ceo- but now I see on here they have 1.4 stars that I’m highly unlikely to get a response there.
If I do I’ll update here.
Also I shared my fire story online and someone reached out to me that has the same model- she said they have sent an engineer out to her to fix a known wiring fault.
But hey it must be the fluff of course.
Dirty laundry aired in the hope it might save your life!
It’s been nearly 30 days and not one phone call!

I purchased a Candy CNBQT3518E refrigerator in July 2025. Upon delivery, I noticed that essential parts required to secure the door were missing — simple plastic components with a clearly symbolic cost.
Although this should have been an easy issue to resolve, six months have passed and the problem remains unresolved. During this time, incorrect parts have been sent on several occasions, without ever properly fixing the issue.
I have never experienced such poor customer support. It is unacceptable that such a simple problem has dragged on for so long, clearly demonstrating a lack of organization and quality in the service provided.

Washing machine was faulty - called to book an engineer and ended up getting signed up to a service programe. Booked an appointment which I had to wait a week for - told them specifically when booking I could do any time of day except before 9am. Lo and behold, I get a message late Sunday afternoon confirming my appointment time between 7-9am Monday. By then their call centre is closed so I can't talk to anyone - try to reschedule on the AI WhatsApp chat, there aren't any other appointments so leave it as it is. On the day, the engineer hasn't shown up so I call up and am told 'the AI has cancelled the appointment'. Agent blames AI, says the computer schedules all the appointments and they can't guarantee any appointment time as they can be changed at any point based on new bookings, cancellations etc. - and the system says no more appointments this week. Literally 'computer says no'.
So basically they get you to sign up and pay for the service, then essentially then just maybe show up in a couple of weeks time if the computer hopefully hasn't cancelled it in the meantime
Wish I could leave no stars. I brought a faulty appliance from them (tumble dryer) 18 months ago which has never worked. A year ago they confirmed mine was one of the faulty ones which was deemed to be a significant fire risk. A year later I still can’t use it, it’s not been fixed and I’ve asked for a replacement and they have said no. They are breaching my consumer rights so I am complaining to trading standards - I wouldn’t touch this company. Despite the appliance literally being a fire risk (they have written to me about 20 times telling me I must not use it) they won’t sort it out. Customer service is abysmal do not use this company - they rob your money and place your families safety at risk.
EDIT: It took another 2 months but they did finally come to fix it on Dec 22nd. I would still avoid the company.
Also caught up in this fire hazard recall SCAM. Can’t get a single update from customer service and left without a safe tumble dryer. Will be reporting them to the trading standards

i wish i could rate less than 1 star.
my freezer has been broken for weeks now.
the complaint was registered on 24th september.
candy reached out to arrange an appointment on Friday 3rd october and told me 'we will come this weekend'. I told them this wouldnt work as it was too last minute and i had plans. I told them I am available on Tuesday 7th Oct (I WFH on this day ), but i told them i needed a time confirmed as i have meetings. They refused to confirm a time with me. Tuesday came, and i was in meetings all day (they rang when I was in a meeting so i couldnt answer), but we exchanged texts to confirm 4pm. I was then told 'they would try to come 4pm, if not they will come tomorrow'. Once again, i told them this isnt suitable as I wont be home, i will be in office. My landlord then reconfirmed Tuesday 4pm with them and assured me they would turn up. It is now 5:30pm, and no one has arrived. I then get a message 'cant come today'. I tell them how disappointed with the service and they tell me its my fault because 'you didnt pick up the call this morning'.
My freezer does not work, and im wasting food and money as the food in the freezer isnt freezing properly so could give me food poisoning.
This company is an absolute joke, void at all costs.
Why does one have to give a star for a terrible product. We bought a dryer (CSEV9DFS) and it does not dry the clothes. I have to put very very little in and still start it twice. Electricity is expensive and we are on pension. I have never experienced such an awful dryer before.
Purchased a Candy Rapido dishwasher in January, it began to fail less than 3 months later. After several phone calls to the company, they finally sent out an engineer.)
He said that there was a fault with one of the parts and replacement would need to be ordered; which could take up to 7 days. It's now almost 4 weeks later and we've still yet to hear anything. Despite contacting the company several times, they cannot give me a timeline for the fix and see not to care at all about customer service. Avoid
Update - after leaving a trust pilot review, the company decided to contact me and inform me that they couldn't actually repair the dishwasher due to the lack of availability of parts (after 4 weeks of ignoring us). They also couldn't replace it! They basically washed their hands of the entire situation and told me to try to figure it out myself with the original retailer. They were not willing to help in any way shape or form- then they had the audacity to send me a repair complete email!

If you truly want to spend money on a new appliance every six months, then this is the brand for you. Absolutely no support to fix their terrible products. At this stage, I think even the landfills are turning Candy away.

I am staying in a short term rental with a Candy washer dryer. What utter garbage! Program times are totally inaccurate. Impossible to find a brochure for an international machine on their site. Icons make zero sense. The app does not work properly. The dryer cannot dry even a single item in less than 2 hours. Choosing a drying time less than 2 hours leaves items wetter than when they went in. Utter trash!

Was told I could contact Candy via WhatsApp to cancel engineer, no one bothering to respond for 1 hour then failed to read the messaging appropriately.. they ended chat without resolving my issue, so frustrating and such poor customer service!!

I have Neue Branded Oven, that Candy service the warranty period. During the 2 year warranty, the oven failed. Different parts including the heating element needed replacing. All parts were replaced, oven worked for another 6 months.
But it's only now i've discovered the parts replaced by Candy don't come with any warranty/guarantee, as 6 month on my oven is now cutting out 45 mins of being on.
I now have oven that's just over 2 years old, cuts out after 45 mins of being turn on. Candy want charge me to look at possible dodgy parts they replaced that have failed again. Sounds like small claims court judgement is needed, as this oven is not fit for purpose.

I received an email from Feefo.com asking me to rate the Candy washing machine. The email contained the following information: "Candy and Feefo believe that people should see unbiased and honest reviews on the internet from real customers like you."
I gave it 3 stars and said it was noisy, didn't have a quick wash mode and the detergent drawer was hard to keep clean.
This scam site deleted the entire comment and changed the rating from 3 to 5 stars.
I find it hard to believe that Candy doesn't know about the practices of the site she cooperates with.

Had my dryer less than 2 years and it's already died after very little use. I would invest in another brand as I have called customer services more than once and they're not interested even though I registered my parts warranty. Now I'm stuck with a dryer that doesn't heat anything. Great decoration that!

Terrible service! My oven is stop working no heats up no fan working and no oven light are working
aswell how is that possible A Oven is breaking a year and a half it is obviously a faulty product. i normally use the airfryer I use oven only once or twice a month
i call them and tell them i want to speak with the manager but they don't have Manager The staff are really rude they lady don't know how to speak with the customers they dont bothered and actually are very obvious that if you stay or not.
I just want the replacement or want to fix the oven but they said you need to pay the enginers fee the engineer fee and fixing is more expensive then the oven
I REQUEST YOU TO ALL DONT BUY CANDY PRODUCTS
THEY ARE SCAMMING US AND SELLING FAULTY PRODUCTS
RELLY DISAPPOINTED 😞 😔 😒 😪

tumble dryer is out of guarantee, by 1 year and a bit. the technical support states for a fixed fee of £180 we can repair it as parts are guaranteed for 10 years, however when the engineer visited he said its not repairable as the gas has leaked. and still have to pay £80 call out fee, what is the point of owning one of your machines if it cant be repaired. the 10 year parts guarantee is a con. DONT BUY CANDY-HOOER !!!!
