"I bought several Candy appliances and, unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The refrigerator – the shelves crack under normal use, the plastic is of very poor quality. The gas cooktop scratches quickly, and the oven takes a long time to heat up. The dishwasher's self-closing mechanism broke – I had to wait a very long time for a replacement. Furthermore, the dishwasher's front bent after being slightly leaned against it, which indicates poor quality materials.
In summary: the appliances may look nice, but the workmanship and durability are very poor. I strongly advise against purchasing Candy products."

Worst company I have ever dealt with!

Worst company I have ever dealt with. I have had to have an engineer out 7 times to my drier in 12 months! It hasn’t worked properly from day one and still doesn’t but they’re refusing to replace a faulty product. Nobody rings you back, the wait time on the phone is horrendous and once you finally get through you can’t speak to anybody who can help. I will not be buying another Candy product ever and urge you not to unless you want a faulty product and horrendous customer service.

Poor Product/Poor service Experience

Candy were always known as poor products as I was growing up however recently I purchased a lodge with these products already installed. I hoped my prior knowledge was incorrect but I am sorry to say it was not.

My microwave became faulty after only around 10 uses. It was still very much under warranty and so I reported the fault. It took 2 engineer visits and around 5 weeks to declare the microwave unrepairable and then a further 2 visits to send out a new microwave which did not fit. When I expressed my dissatisfaction I was ignored by this group. After 8 weeks or so I had given up with Hoover Candy - there was no point in wasting any more of my time with them.

My microwave is now replaced but not due to Hoover Candy - the lodge manufacturer sorted things for me.

My advice would be to avoid these products as if you are unlucky enough to get a faulty one I doubt you will get decent service to sort out the issue. What's more the staff simply do not appear to care that they are giving a poor service.
