Nice van and great team at Montréal

Everything Perfect

Good points :
- An interesting package offered (including 100km/night, 2nd driver, bed sheets + bathroom and kitchen kits, no bail & full insurance)
- A big (31') and well equipped recreative vehicule despite the order on a "SAVER 4" option
Points of improvment :
- A site quite far from Montreal (at least 45' by car)
- A very quick & light review done at the check in, with just a 1/4 fuel tank
- A very long check out despite the full insurance package which was including a let & leave arrival

A special mention to Mia from Mirabel Station, who provided an excellent customer service experience. Her professionalism, kindness, and outstanding service truly deserve recognition. Thank you, Mia! 👏

Overall, we were very happy with the RV. It was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed for our trip.
The only thing we found disappointing was having to pay an additional fee just to reserve a time slot for both pick-up and drop-off. The system seems designed so that only the least convenient time slots are available for free, which feels like an unnecessary extra charge after booking.
I would much rather pay a slightly higher rental price upfront and have these kinds of additional fees included. It would make the whole booking experience more transparent and leave a better overall impression.

We had a great RV in perfect condition. Everything went smooth and canadream support were very quick and helpful when we had questions.

The pick up and drop off were easy and quick (even though we had to wait an hour for drop off as there were a lot of them at the same time). Staff was helpful and nice. We really appreciated the booking process, being very clear and being assisted for payment. Although, we were disappointed not to have the coffee machine we booked (which was unavailable, don't understand how that could be if we booked it in advance) and also we paid for extra demonstration at pick up which we got partially. Hopefully, the videos are great.

We were warmly welcomed at the appointment time.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience renting our RVs, and we couldn’t recommend this company highly enough!

From the very beginning, the whole team was incredibly welcoming, friendly, professional and genuinely helpful. Travelling as a family with young children can sometimes make logistics a little more complicated, but everyone went out of their way to make things as easy and smooth as possible for us. We truly felt that they cared about our experience and wanted our Canadian road trip to be a success.

The RVs were great and gave us the freedom to enjoy an unforgettable adventure through Canada, but what really made the difference was the kindness of the team on site. Every person we met was patient, attentive, smiling and ready to help whenever we had a question or needed assistance. That level of customer service is quite rare and deserves to be highlighted!

A huge thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome and for being part of such wonderful family memories. We would rent from you again without hesitation and would absolutely recommend you to anyone looking for an RV adventure in Canada.

Great experience

Professional and fast processing, very friendly staff

We rented a VR from CanaDream in Montreal for 17 nights to explore Quebec, covering around 2,500 km: Parc de la Mauricie, the Saguenay Fjord, Tadoussac, the Gaspé Peninsula, Quebec City, and back to Montreal.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The motorhome was almost brand new, with only around 3,500 km on the clock. It was very well equipped, comfortable, and extremely reliable throughout our trip.

We did have a small issue at the beginning. We had paid extra for an 11:00 a.m. pickup instead of the standard 1:00 p.m. However, the motorhome was not ready when we arrived, and we eventually had to wait until 12:20 p.m. before everything was sorted out and we could leave. It would have been appreciated if the extra fee for the early pickup had been refunded or some compensation offered spontaneously.

Apart from this, everything went very smoothly. We also had to contact the roadside assistance service once, for a simple issue with the 110V outlets, and they were able to guide us through the reset within just a few minutes.

One thing we do regret, however, is that the awnings cannot be used. We understand the reasons behind this policy, but for careful and responsible travellers, it would be great to have the possibility to use them under certain conditions.

Despite these minor points, we had an excellent experience with CanaDream. The motorhome was in great condition, the service was helpful, and the whole trip was a real pleasure.

We would recommend CanaDream to our friends without hesitation, and we would definitely choose them again if we plan another trip to Canada!

The vehicle was great, top quality, nothing to complain about. On the other hand, the online check-in and pickup/drop-off slot system left a lot to be desired. If you check in online a bit late, you’re forced to pick up the vehicle late in the afternoon and return it early in the morning, which means losing almost two full days of rental. For our reservation, the only slots left were 3:00 PM for pickup (when the earliest slot is 8:30 AM) and 8:30 AM for drop-off. At no point are you warned about this first-come, first-served system, which was a huge disappointment. We had to negotiate at length over the phone to get slightly better slots, and it was extremely tedious. For the return, we managed to negotiate an extra hour, but if we went over that, we had to pay an extra $100 or $150 per hour…! Considering the price of a week’s rental, that’s a bit much.
Lastly, a minor downside regarding the "everything costs extra" policy. To get a fully functional RV, you have to add options that are practically mandatory when you're a tourist coming from abroad (dishes, bedding, camping chairs, coffee machine, toaster, etc.). Since it's impossible to bring these with you, you have no choice but to pay for these add-ons.

Great and friendly service when you show up for your appointment to pick up the RV. The RV was almost brand new and very clean inside/out. Definitely recommend. This was the second time we used canadream.

Excellent customer support and service before the 14 day across Canada trip and after at the drop off. I even used the help line when I could not get the a/c to work, the lady quickly figured out it was the breaker. The vehicle was almost brand new and worked perfectly
