Prompt enough response and my question was answered.

My first BMAC experience was I guess 2-3 weeks ago. I clicked on the BMAC button, and then forgot about it. I think it probably took a week or more to be debited at my bank, and looking in my memory at recent days, didn't remember having done that, and information wasn't available on my statement or from my bank. So I emailed. I didn't check my email daily, so I can't say how fast the response was, but no more than 3 to 4 days as that's when I checked and found it. The correspondence was kind and answered my question about what it was for. Everything fine.
THEN I came to these reviews (I WAS invited to leave a review) and read the 1* reviews, which I often do for anything. I do have concerns now, and am less eager to use the service, but MY experience was fine, with possible minor delays in billing. I do note that many reviews are labeled as "unprompted," and [EDIT:] AND I SEE MINE HAS BEEN LABELED AS UNPROMPTED, which is untrue, as I was asked/invited to leave a review after I emailed them, basically thanking for their kind help and clarifing that everything was resolved and I'd be sure to write down my BMAC's in the future.

Julie was Excellent

Julie was helpful, polite, concise, knew her stuff, and seemed to actually care that things worked out well for me. Her response time was also unexpectedly rapid. None of that is common in text-only customer service or tech support. Hell, it's not even common over the phone (or frankly, in person, which anyone whose worked with certain IT types can tell you). She's an asset to an, often difficult to navigate, platform and should likely be made supervisor, but then the customers would lose her, so a tidy raise is likely a better bet all around.
All glibness aside, she's a keeper.

I'm very impressed with customer service

I'm very impressed with customer service! I was having a lot of difficulty cancelling a subscription (it was unclear to me as to cancelling a monthly charge vs subscription charge). I went to customer service and Tina helped immediately. She explained the problem and then happily cancelled the service for me. A very pleasant experience.

BMAC panders to terrorists and attacks free speech

My friend is an ex Muslim who started to raise awareness about abuses of minorities by terrorists and Islamists in his country, including genocide against Hindus. He was raising funds with BMAC for his project but when extremists and terror supporters complained to BMAC they shut his account and he lost money. BMAC should not be pandering to terrorists and genocidal extremists. This is an abuse of human rights to free speech and an attack on persecuted minorities.

We like how we can have an online shop for merch and patrons / supporters page, and many other features all in one place, the only thing that we still can't see the 'wishlist' feature in our menu, we contacted support hopefully they resolve it shortly.

Straight up ROBBED by Buy Me a Coffee (BMAC)

I was running a project on my Discord server, and my community used Buy Me a Coffee (BMAC) to donate and support my work. When I tried to withdraw my funds, it took BMAC support 10 days just to reply. During that waiting period, my Discord account was hacked and my server was completely nuked. To make a terrible situation worse, BMAC then banned my account without giving any reason and kept all of my donated money ($250). These guys are completely unprofessional and scammers too as i still have all their email's.

DO NOT trust them with your money or donations!

I recently used Buy Me A Coffee to…

I recently used Buy Me A Coffee to support a YouTube channel I enjoy that's not in my country. I got a message from my credit card company asking if it was me that made the transaction, which I did, but it wasn't clear if the transaction actually went through. I reached out to them to find out if the transaction indeed had gone through and they were able to help me confirm that it had. They kept me informed throughout the process, which I found extraordinarily helpful. I would highly recommend Buy Me A Coffee if your favorite YouTube channel, or other providers, use this platform.

YouTube creators using BMC to steal

YouTube creators are accepting funds through this app in exchange for doing reaction videos, where they react to music. More and more are just accepting payment, they not bothering to do the reaction. BMC (ButMeACoffee)is enabling this kind of activity. Specific users who are intentionally using your service to steak money are
