Dreadful

Dreadful. Ordered a white oven for my new kitchen. Contractor there to connect it but was sent a black damaged one. I had it connected anyway as I would have had to rebook the engineer and pay twice. Company asked me upteen prices and offrremax£25 compensation. Terrible product and worst customer service.

Buyitdirect.com experience selling my laptop

Buyitdirect.com (also known as laptopsdirect.com) are a company that sell and buy laptops and other electronic devices such as mobile phones and computers.
I have a prestine laptop, looked after at home never taken out that had full protection from any chance of marks and chipping, in genuine excellent condition.
I wanted to sell my laptop because I needed a larger memory and it was now 7 years old. To sell my laptop was easy, I entered my laptop specifications on their website and was offered an initial price subject to checking of £80.70, which was a fair offer. After sending the laptop boxed and in full bubble wrap and with the original keyboard felt and power cable, I was offered £0.00 and asked if I was happy with that offer then they would go ahead with the purchase?
They quoted,

'Here’s what we spotted: Marks on lid. Worn keyboard. Sticky feeling on the keyboard. Minor chipping on the egde of the lid.
Your updated valuation is: 0.00'

I asked for my laptop back as I could not believe my laptop was in such a condition they offered such a rediculous offer?
After receiving my laptop and checking my laptop again, there are no marks on the lid. The keyboard isn't worn or sticky and there is no minor chipping on the lid and they did not return the keyboard felt I sent.
I had asked previously could they return my laptop in the same condition I sent it to them. I offered to send pictures showing no marks and chipping they had claimed but they have ignored my counter claim and stated the standard that this was a final valuation.
From my experience I would not waste your time trying to sell your laptop, they will state false claims on the condition of your laptop to try to keep it for free.
Buyitdirect.com, be honest and fair and do not treat a seller as an easy taker. There are standards when buying and selling and from my experience they should be checked by trading standards.
