Scam do not sign up

This is a scam , hugely expensive but you gain nothing , to be able to use it as a dating site you just have to keep giving them money ... they then trap you , its extremely difficult to get out of even though what they try to advertise to you just isn't there

Absolutely farcical

Absolutely farcical! Apart from the fact that this site seems seldom used in my experience now, I can see why.
I tried to verify my pics with an ID that only someone over 21 could have, only for it to decide I’m under 18. I’m actually 61 so so much for their farcical AI.
This site is rubbish, I’d advise against even bothering with it!

Really poor quality of service

Really poor quality of service, accidentaly signed up for the premium and when I asked for a refund they refused. Really just a poorly designed app, trying to upsell you on services left and right. You would think an app that is trying to give women power would be more thoughtful to their customers.

Banned After 5 Months of "Lifetime" Membership - No Refund, No Explanation

I'm writing this review because I want others to know what happened to me before they spend their money on Bumble's "lifetime" membership.

On March 28th, I paid 988 yuan (about $136 USD) for what Bumble advertised as a "lifetime premium membership." I thought this was a good deal - pay once, use forever. I was genuinely trying to meet someone and felt the investment was worth it.
Five months later, in August, I woke up to find my account permanently banned. No warning. No explanation. Just a generic email saying I "breached Community Guidelines" but refusing to tell me what I actually did wrong.

I've sent them multiple emails asking for specifics - what did I do? When did I do it? Can you show me any evidence? Nothing. They just kept sending the same copy-paste responses. It's like talking to a wall.

Here's what I think happened: I live in China. Bumble doesn't work here without a VPN - the app literally won't load without one. So like everyone else in China who uses international apps, I used a VPN. That's probably why they banned me, even though it's the ONLY way to access their service from where I live.
Now here's the part that really gets me - I paid for a LIFETIME membership. Not a monthly subscription. Not a yearly plan. LIFETIME. That means it should last as long as I want to use the app. But they took my money, gave me 5 months, then kicked me out and said "sorry, no refunds."

How is that fair? If I paid for lifetime access and you terminate my account after 5 months, shouldn't I get my money back? They're hiding behind their "non-refundable" policy, but that policy shouldn't apply when THEY are the ones who terminated the service I paid for.

I've tried everything:
Emailed Bumble support multiple times (useless)
Contacted Apple China (they said it's been too long)
Filed a credit card dispute (didn't work)
Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (still waiting)

I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. Either give me back my account, or refund my money. Instead, they've done neither and won't even tell me what I supposedly did wrong.

The worst part is feeling completely powerless. They have my money, they've locked me out, and there's no one to appeal to. No real person to talk to. Just automated responses from "Bumble Member Support."

If you're thinking about buying their lifetime membership, please think twice. What does "lifetime" even mean if they can just ban you whenever they want and keep your money? And if you live somewhere that requires a VPN to access the app, be aware that they might ban you for that too - even though it's the only way to use their service.

I really liked Bumble at first. I had some good conversations, met interesting people. But this experience has left a terrible taste in my mouth. A company that treats paying customers like this doesn't deserve your business.

Update: It's now been a week since I filed my BBB complaint. Still no resolution. I'll update this review if anything changes, but I'm not holding my breath.

Bumble Premium+ kills your visibility — total scam behavi

Let’s be honest — Bumble Premium+ feels like a trap. The moment you pay for “extra visibility,” your profile basically disappears. I’ve tested this multiple times: the minute my Premium+ expires, I suddenly get a flood of likes and matches again. The moment I pay again, everything stops — zero likes, zero visibility, zero transparency.

It’s obvious what’s happening here: once they’ve got you paying monthly, they throttle your exposure to make you believe you need even more boosts or add-ons to be seen. It’s manipulative, and it’s disgusting business practice.

I’ve contacted support multiple times, and all I get are copy-paste replies telling me to “improve my photos” or “change my filters.” Absolute joke. My photos and profile are fine — this is an algorithm issue they’re pretending doesn’t exist.

So here’s the truth: using Bumble Premium+ for more than a month absolutely slumps your account. You’re basically paying to hide yourself.

Until Bumble starts being transparent about how their algorithm treats paying users, I’m warning everyone — do not waste your money.

I got subscription on 10 September

I got subscription on 10 September. Then i wanted to cancel it and did not want to renew it. But there was no button or portal where I could do it.
After that, I deleted my account on 8 October. on 11 of October, I received email that my subscription has cancelled.

BUT on 14 October, I received email that you renewed your subcription. "bumble is scm".

they renewed my subscription automatically. they steal the card details and other information.
I tried to contact them but they are not reachable.
With the help of AI, i found their three email addresses and I emailed them 3 times to each of them. However, I have not yet heard from them.

Please do not get subscription. it is scm.

Such fake app! Trying to trap guys to pay !
The girls get hundreds of matches with 24h but they limited guys profiles to not be able to swipe and the app limits you visibility to bare minimum and you keep getting pop ups every 5 seconds to pay for something!!

Bumble provides a sh-t service for guys! Do not pay and do not use this app! Useless!
DO NOT RECOMMEND! WASTE OF TIME

Bumble Trick You

For a website that is supposed to protect and give women power, I felt more tricked by and betrayed by Bumble than anyone on there. What you get from paying is not clear. If you like someone you can’t get back to see them to initiate anything, even if you have paid. Every action you want to do costs more money, and a lot of money. I felt cheated by Bumble.

80% scammers, 10% AI profiles (photoshopped), 5% cheaters…

The🐝app’s functions are more advanced and very user-friendly compared to other dating apps. But the amount of scammers and fake profiles with stolen Instagram photos is overwhelmingly high. For 3 months, I haven’t met a single real person yet, but instead I have revealed over 30+ scammers and reported them. But despite reporting, the same profile photos as new accounts under new names kept returning and those were shown as verified photos on Bumble. Does that mean that those scammers actually work for them directly? If not, how could they explain the fact that even the locations were made up, but there’s no such function to input it other than allowing that app to track one’s own location automatically.🤨Highly suspicious!

I used Bumble For Friends (BFF) and found it to be an absolutely appalling experience. I thought I could simply create an account and start meeting genuine people, but instead, I was repeatedly reported for no reason and locked out of my account.

It feels like the moderators themselves need moderating. There’s no accountability for unfair reports, and it’s deeply concerning that issues like racism or other forms of discrimination go unchallenged. The only way to use the app safely seems to be by hiding your identity — which defeats the whole purpose of making authentic connections.

In my experience, Bumble BFF does not feel inclusive at all. It comes across as an app primarily catering to white users, leaving others feeling excluded or unfairly targeted. If you don't like someone just swipe the other way don't stop them from being or meeting other people they can connect with.
