I ordered some Viola da Gamba strings Bridgewood and Neitzert ,and the service was excellent in that they informed that one of the strings was out of stock and gave me the option to carry out the order.
I later heard that all strings would be arriving.

I have an awkwardly proportioned violin and was hesitant to buy a new case online. I needn't have worried! I had incredibly personalised and speedy service at all stages and am delighted with my new Artonus Cadem case.

I have just bought a double bass from Bridgewood and Neitzert.
The experience has been superb.
I exchanged a few emails over the previous month and felt throughout that the shop has an absolute focus on the customer experience. On the day that I picked the bass up I was left to play undisturbed and without any pressure (even though the workshop had already spent time working on the bass) and any queries were politely and clearly addressed.
Their workshop checked over the bass in the week before and, I discovered afterwards, did some maintenance work on the seams. This was done without charge and, I feel, was all about the company’s wish to ensure customer satisfaction. I don’t think I would even have known if it had not happened to have come up in later messaging.
I am an older player and definitely at the lower end of ability but I never once felt overawed or patronised. Any imposter syndrome I experienced came from me and not from Bridgewood and Neitzert who were nothing but supportive throughout even though they clearly deal with players of all abilities and budgets.
A day or two after getting the bass I emailed for some advice on its care and received a detailed and helpful reply from Gary.
I cannot recommend Bridgewood and Neitzert highly enough.
