Very poor service and customer support
Very poor service. I get awful WiFi inside my house despite doing everything I can to make sure my router is placed correctly. I have also added boosters that do nothing.
I pay for 2.5Gb but get about 10% of that if I’m lucky. Customer service is extremely slow and poor.
The installation was awful. It dragged on for months. This operation feels like a few people out of a shed. I wish I had never gone with them. I would avoid at all costs.
Quality and Service excellent

Been with Briant Broadband for a while now and have had good service from them. If do have a problem which as been rare its usually sorted out fairly quickly. Don't think getting the speed we're supposed to but it's still a lot faster than old supplier.

I had been with Sky Broadband for decades and decided that I need to switch as I was not getting value for money. Sky kept increasing their prices so I changed to the local Briant Broadband company and it was so simple.
Briant have done some work for me before so this was the right choice.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for a very easy transfer at a much lower cost than Sky.
Thoroughly recommend them, very professional, helpful, easy to contact and would not look anywhere else.

Bit disappointed with the performance…
Bit disappointed with the performance and lack of support. The performance is not as expected and there is no follow up on the issue even after I had messaged them about the issue. Just waiting for the contract to get over to switch to another supplier.

Excellent so far. Crazily fast speed and really quick ping.
An order of magnitude better than another supplier I tried to use offering 2.5GBit. Briant actually delivered on the deal, very happy.
Cost/speed is great.
Really happy with the cost and the speeds. I was with Sky and the connection was lousy, speeds mediocre and price was insane (forced to also pay for a landline).
Cityfibre was installed in my area and I searched for the best speed in my postcode. Weirdly found a seemingly small company from England offering the best package (I'm in Glasgow).
The website is basic, but I've had no reason to contact them since I ordered the package.
Been with them for a year now with only a few minor outages - all caused by local issues (a storm and then some damage to CityFibre equipment I think).
They let me know when CityFibre are doing work, if there's even a slight chance it could impact me, which I appreciate, as I do IT work and WFH.
I've had a number of ISPs over the years and this one is the best so far.

Been with Briant Broadband for approximately two years now I might experience with them has been excellent.
Good personal customer service makes all the difference. In particular I appreciate that, on the two occasions when there has been an “outage” (whatever that means) I have received a written apology from Briant Broadband. They put the multinational companies to shame.

Had a pretty good experience with Briant Broadband. Communication of Cityfibre outages and general support/communication has been great. Overall found the service to be very reliable.

I have no complaints. Broadband is great no hiccups unlike when I used bt. Communication is good. I've had no problems at all. I would highly recommend. Supporting a local firm is also a bonus. Great Company
Customer service needs improvement
In general the broadband service is pretty good. I do have an issue with contacting customer service when there is a problem, particularly if it is out of hours and weekends. Very frustrating when the the speed collapses and I can’t get any interaction with Briant staff. The Watsapp contact group is not monitored and when I had to chase an answer to service outage, I got a very glib response.
I'm really doing my best to support a local company, but I;m finding it hard TBH.
I was so pleased when Briant rolled out their fibre service in my area. Consequently I was an enthusiastic and early adopter of their service.
I have fibreoptic broadband which generally works well and a VOIP telephone line which is a disaster.
I have been plagued by problems involving both incoming and outgoing calls
I have been beset with instances of incoming calls ringing off after a handful of rings, hence beating me bofore I'd even had a chance to pick up the phone (and certainly long before my ansaphone has had a chance to intercept the call) followed by a helpful email from Briant confirming that I'd missed a call. Mercifully this does seem to have sorted itself out, but it took several months.
Even as I sit here today, whilst I can get a dialling tone and in theory, should be able to make a call, I have singularly failed to make a connection out using my Briant phoneline in well over two weeks.
I was expecting my (fixed) landline to be a dependable alternative to my mobile service that due to my geographical location is not completely reliable.
Briant are happy to take my money every month, but to be honest given the intrinsic unreliability of my phone line ever since it was installed, they should reflect on whether the service and aftercare I've received has justified my patronage of a local organisation.

A Great local provider
Briant invested in cabling our private estate and has provided a simple, well supported, network ever since. Immediate help for the few issues I have encountered, normally from someone who's name I recognise. A great local team who earn and deserve local support.
