I am using Boxnow 62 times since I emigrated to Greece last year and they never let me down. I like the fact that you can send or receive 24/7. Why 4 stars? Lately they have been getting slower, package take 4 to 5 or 6 days and I am not talking about the islands. A few months ago I sent something to Cyprus and it arrived in 3 days, same story with 2 seperate packages sent to Bulgaria, 3 days, wonderful value for money! But now I am waiting 5 days already for 2 seperate packages from Greek mainland, no idea what is happening.
Order dispatched to an outlying locker far away from the area of the delivery address (an issue reported and confirmed by many recipients, so this is not an separate incident, but a standard practice). The chat feature is not working. The customer service phone number (0700) is a special phone number having a special tariff.
Shipment #2042981700 — completely disappointing experience.
1️⃣ The parcel was picked up on 28 Oct 2025 and delivered only on 30 Oct morning — a simple Sofia-to-Sofia delivery delayed by more than 24 hours.
2️⃣ Customer support misled me twice — first assuring that it would arrive “within the day”, then claiming “evening delivery after 19:30”, which never happened.
3️⃣ Without my consent, the parcel was redirected to a locker in a completely different district (Strelbishte instead of NDK).
4️⃣ I spent over 20 minutes trying to reach someone by phone before an operator finally answered.
Totally unprofessional and frustrating experience — I expected basic reliability and transparency for a local delivery.
Every other parcel I order they deliver to another location, which is not even a close locker but a random one, often very distant while skipping 3-4 nearby lockers. So to get there I obviously spend more money and waste time.
This is the only courier in the whole country that tends to do this. Extremely inconvinient, annoying and unprofessional.
A package with baby food sent on Thursday is delivered on Monday because it turns out they did not ship it the same day as all others like Econt and Speedy do. Their 24/7 is a total scam because they don’t work on weekends. They are slow, customer service is rude and unhelpful and basically I would pay more to others to never use BoxNow again.
You can not contact them and it seems they do not care. Today I wanted to postpone taking a parcel. I pressed the button, but did not receive the expected Viber message with the new deadline picking time. I only was informed that it was postponed. How much? Who knows. To confirm it I called the only given national number 0700 70744. Twice i was hold over a minute on the line and then the call was cut off. These calls are expensive, they are paid additionally, the telephone providers do not include 0700 in the free calls plan. There is not support live line, so you can not contact the company regardless how urgent the situation is. How this can be legal business!
Very, very disappointing service. What other courier companies deliver in a day, here it takes three days! And the parcel was delivered in the wrong pick up point.
I decided to choose this service because of its flexibility, but it tuned out to be completely unreliable and untrustowrthy.
Absolute idiots. Can’t have prober business with them. Waited for an order which got returned because they don’t have enough space in their lockers. They have no way of sorting this out so they just return it. Wack company, absolutely won’t recommend!!
Customer service is disgusting. They never answer emails sent to infoatboxnow.gr, and I can never get a reply on their customer care line. Add to that, they have consistently placed my parcels in a box miles away from my house, when there is a box just 1km from my door. As I don't have a car, this is a significant problem which I have communicated to them, but they just ignore me. I would not recommend this company if you want stress-free deliveries.
Absolutely abysmal customer support.
Tried to explain that no codes or messages for the delivery have been received just to be repeated to, like a parrot, in the most disinterested and condescending voice possible, that "I'll receive an update via SMS" and "that's nothing they can do." Was not even allowed to finish my question over the phone and just got continuously interrupted with "an update will be sent.".
A first and definitely a last experience with them. Nothing justifies being so rude and dismissive on a support call.
Why no one answers the phones? I didn't receive a passcode for my first box and it went back. No one to call to stop the return.We are not that far ahead in technology to eliminate human interaction completely.
I wish the online updates said "Collected" instead of "Delivered" when collecting packages from their box. I asked a friend to collect in my absence - and this "Delivered" business made things really confusing for both of us.
I like that you have boxes all around the country, however when I select for payment - "Payment on delivery" I'd like to pay on a POS terminal, ON DELIVERY. And not to receive an email telling me I have not paid my order and need to pay online before I can receive it.
Many boxes of the other couriers have POS terminals, so it's ABSURD to require online payment when "PAY ON DELIVERY" is selected
