I’m sorry to hear the delivery wasn’t as expected. Once orders are with the courier, delivery is handled by them. In apartment buildings parcels are typically left at reception unless specific instructions (such as access codes or directions to the apartment) are provided through the courier notifications.
We don’t have any record of you contacting us directly, but if you had, we would have been more than happy to look into this for you and help resolve it.
In terms of the pies, we do list weights on the product pages so customers know what to expect, but we appreciate all feedback.

Where are the pies?
Update - I did eventually get the pies. The pies are fab & very tasty. shame about the delivery.
Where are the pies? Would love to write a review about the pies but I haven’t got them yet. Should have been delivered yesterday. DPD had the pies at my local depot on 06/03/2026 at 1.14 am for delivery the same day as I requested. DPD then decided to change it to Saturday 07/03/2026 saying it was my request on the tracking, it was not. I am now worried about the condition the pies are going to be in and will they still be edible due to the fact the time they have been hanging around with DPD. Do they store them in refrigerator conditions? They are going to be at least 3 days old when I eventually get them.

Our pies are baked fresh to order and sent chilled in temperature controlled packaging, which is designed and tested to keep them at a safe internal temperature for up to 48 hours in transit. While unexpected courier delays can occasionally happen and are unfortunately outside of our control, the packaging is specifically designed to allow for situations like this.
From what you’ve described, if the parcel was delivered on Saturday it would still fall within that safe transit window. Orders are typically collected from our fridges late in the day before dispatch, so they remain well within the timeframe they’re packed for.
We completely understand how concerning it can be when tracking updates change unexpectedly. If you’d like us to look into this properly for you, please do get in touch with us directly with your order number or email address, as we don’t currently have enough information from the review to locate your order. Thanks for another review, Ken, we really appreciate it and glad you’re enjoying the pies. We do understand the delivery cost can be a factor. The postage and temperature controlled packaging actually comes in at around £10 per order, so we try to keep things fair and only charge a fraction of that to customers.
A lot of people find it works well to stock up and take advantage of the free delivery over £50, especially as the pies freeze really well for later. Thanks again for your support.
