I’m really sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations, we completely understand how disappointing that must feel.

We’ve had a look and can see you reached out to a mix of Premium and Basic borrowers. One Premium member replied to let you know they weren’t available on the dates you’d mentioned but were happy to stay in touch for future care.

We can see you currently have over 200 Premium borrowers within 5 miles of your area. Activity can vary from person to person, but it’s worth mentioning that the age of someone’s profile doesn’t always reflect how active they are. Since memberships last a full year, many members keep theirs going for the safety features, or return when their circumstances change. You can sort your search list to most active users though, or last updated.

Our community is all about building long-term relationships between owners and our volunteer borrowers, we always recommend giving plenty of time to get to know each other. Most members start with group walks, then solo walks, and eventually trial sleepovers before any holiday plans, just to make sure everyone’s comfortable and happy.

We also make members aware during sign-up that our memberships renew annually. We’re really sorry if that wasn’t clear at the time. Your renewal date and cost can be seen in your account settings at any point, and you can end your renewal anytime. Our team is always happy to do that for you too if needed.

I’m also really sorry if the email we sent felt off in tone, that truly wasn’t the intention. We always want to help, and part of that is sharing tips, offering surveys, and having a help team here for support. I can see one of the team sent a reply with advice to support you, and we’ve followed up again directly in case there’s anything more we can do.

Anyone can join for free and take a look at the community near them, so you can see if there are matches that suit your availability and preferences before choosing whether to upgrade. If you do decide to become a verified premium member, you'll get access to features like accident and third-party liability insurance, member messaging, and our 24/7 vet line, which many of our members, both owners and borrowers, have found incredibly helpful in taking the right steps when it comes to a dog's health. It’s a great addition to the dedicated care that in-person vets provide, offering immediate expert reassurance and guidance whenever it’s needed.

Our insurance policy is readily available in our Help Centre, so anyone can review what's covered before even creating an account. For added peace of mind, we offer a 30-day refund policy when starting out, and a 14-day refund option for any accidental or unused renewals.

Memberships renew annually to help avoid breaks in cover, which many members rely on. That said, auto-renewal can be turned off at any time through your account settings, or simply by contacting our friendly help team who are always happy to assist.

Unlike general social media groups, all premium members, both owners and borrowers, complete safety checks to help keep our community trusted and safe for everyone involved, including the dogs.

As a small team, we only make a limited number of outbound calls, most of which are scheduled or follow-up requests. We’re always here to support, not to overwhelm
