For more than 3 weeks I don’t get any response to 4 emails sent to 3 possible addressed they have because they are keeping my capital from me and do not transfer it to my business account.
This is smelling more and more like scam.
Terrible company.
UPD: the day I posted this review they sent my capital and responded to my emails.
I just wonder how much money they make on freezing peoples capitals for months without responding.

Called me with an attitude to get me back.
After using their free plan, I was required to purchase an additional plan just to complete my accounting tasks without any assistance. Now, a year later, they have contacted me in an attempt to win me back, yet they still failed to offer a more affordable or improved plan compared to my current one—all while displaying an unprofessional attitude. The service has been highly disappointing. I strongly advise against using Bokio for anyone

Avoid at all costs!
Dishonest company who has broken all of their promises, moved vital functionality from affordable tiers to expensive ones (after locking in users in the system) after some extreme price gouging. I was an early user of the solution, even recommended it to friends and colleagues in the industry.
Avoid this company at all costs and go for any other more trustworthy solution!
Ps. I almost forgot to mention that their customer support is an absolute nightmare who do not hesitate to treat you like trash.

I am new to Sweden
I am new to Sweden. One of my friends wanted me to provide accounting support for his business. Earlier I had no experience with this package and the other thing was my inability to work in Swedish. Fortunately, I could understand the system and could be able to cover his accounting requirements and finally, we were able to hand over the reports to Skettaverket. Still, I am learning but okay for me to work with Bokio.

Terrible customer support and buggy service
Repeatedly let down by the Bokio support which while running a business I often have need for at critical moments.
The latest and most disappointing incident has been while applying for international payments 2 weeks prior, well in advance of the recommended time, but thanks to technical problems on the web app (there are continuously bugs/errors while using it) the application was still not processed when an invoice was due.
Reaching out to customer service was met with a response they would look into it. 2 days later and nothing, and no further response from customer service when following up. Meanwhile an invoice is now overdue and no sign of being able to pay it using my company account.
For a company that charges as much as they do for the service, this is unacceptable. Will be switching to another service as soon as I'm able.

Taking advantage of small business users
I was a user of Bokio for a few years, and it had great functionality. Last year, they removed the free version, and I was trapped in using a software service at premium prices. They started charging per quarter, started charging in advance. I removed my data from the service and tried to stop payment, but kept being charged. Having no access to the services, they still demanded 3 months of up-front payment for a service I no longer used or wanted. Now they sent this payment to a collection agency and I'm on the hook for even more.
I'd stay away as far as possible, and instead use alternatives that respect their users.

Get things done, smoothly
Since I started my consultancy business about 2.5 years ago, Bokio was more than enough to manage all my accounting needs. Eventually, I moved my bank to their service, simplifying the account management and consolidating the cost.

Money over customer
The customer success agents, (they reported my comment so I just had to modify my comment and remove their names), were unprofessional and prioritised defending their point of view over assisting clients. They argued that mentioning auto-renewal at checkout is sufficient notification, as if clients can monitor their subscriptions without reminders. I received no notifications and was unexpectedly billed for a three-month renewal. My request to cancel the unused subscription was declined. Other feedback indicates this issue is common. Expecting clients to remember renewals after three months or half a year without reminders is unfair and impractical. This service is unsatisfactory and unprofessional.

In App contact issues to resolve closing account
Struggled to get assistance with closing the account and had £300 taken from our account for a new year. Sent multiple e-mails to Bokio via the within App link, under "contact support or give feedback" but did not get a response. Then went via the website and got a response. Not sure why the within App link did not work (using an iphone). Once we sent the email via the website link we got our money back without issue. Thank you to Bokio who have now refunded us.

We Love Bokio!
We love Bokio because it is well structured easy to understand, even if it has some limitations and could have some improvements, it is a very good app with a lot of integrations, a good earned plus is for the documentation, very well developed. The support staff could be improved, but they are present, even they look a little bit overwhelmed by requests.

I just want to get out my data I have had as per their promise for free for years. I don't need their paid service. Still, I now have to pay for a quarter at least. They promised to be free forever and in my stupidity I believed it. Also, this change was sneaked through without warning so unfortunately I missed the 30 days in the middle of the fiscal year I had a chance to act. Jokes who hate business!

I haven't encountered that unprofessional company before. The system has so many bugs inc. if you are not VAT payer you cant turn off the option in the system
Worst company I have dealt with
Worst company I have dealt with. Everyone talking about the hostage situation are correct. In my case I have to buy a 1 YEAR subscription to look at my old data. Which is a lot of money.
They know very well what they're doing but "oops that's our policy". Well how fortunate for you. Do not expect any leniency with their customer service who are just out to milk you dry.
Also remember that they gained all their users and goodwill for claiming the basic plan would be "free forever". They could have kept a free legacy plan for existing users, but nope.
This company will not stop lying or cheating. You think it might get better? I've used them for 5+ years and it's just going downhill while getting more expensive.
