Whilst my wife was taken ill at the Strood branch 0930hrs 7th May 26, three members of staff came to our assistance immediately, two ladies and a gentleman. We wish to thank them via this site for their care given to my wife at this worrying time. Having both left the store and returned home she has now recovered and is doing well..Thank you again to those caring members of staff.

Visited the Bognor Regis store today 08/05/26 and purchased a trampoline and was helped by the Floor manger (sorry forgot his name) he was so helpful in helping me he put the item onto a trolley as it was heavy and helped me put it into my car. Thank you so much.

I emailed customer services on 6/5/26 asking about some garden stones. I had purchased 10 bags of stones but needed another 3 bags to complete my project. My local store in Burnley had sold out and I had tried 2 other stores without success. I was contacted by Christine on 7/5/26, and another lady, from customer services and they found some stock in Accrington but said they would ask Accrington to confirm with me to save me from going and being disappointed. Within 30 minutes I received a call from the Accrington store to say they had plenty of stock. When I arrived at the store a member of staff lifted the bags of stones down for me and told me to find him when I'd paid and he would put them in my car for me. Absolute 5 star service from start to finish!!

Terrible customer service this morning at B&M Scunthorpe Gallagher Retail Park. We'd bought some bun cases from there. When we came to use them, they were disgusting. They stunk of chemical - no use for food. When I took them back today, I spoke to the manageress who couldn't have been less helpful. She told me she'd replace them if they still sold them but since they were bought over 30 days ago there was no refund available. When I told her I didn't want a replacement she told me to stop talking. How rude! Managers should be taught how to deal with customers. And that people who return defective goods are really helping a business. We won't be buying any more cooking related items from B&M.

I was doing a good deed in supporting a friend who recently had surgery, we both spent a substantial amount to then find myself with a parking ticket, I had over stayed by 3 mins.
We took longer than usual as with no loo in store, long queues and a fabulous amount of goods to look and a slower pace… I contacted the customer service team and what’s stars. Listened and told me they would do their best to sort it out.
Within a few days I had an email to say all charges stopped.

I wanted a copy of a receipt that I had mislaid, in order that I could then return items purchased but no longer required. I spoke to Lisa, in Customer Services and she quickly located the receipt, sent me a copy by email, while I was on the phone and was basically, very efficient and pleasant throughout.

Disgusted that staff don't bother to water the plants in the garden centre. How do you expect to sell half dead plants which make poor displays. Plants are living entities, how would you like it if you were just dumped with no concern to your wellbeing. Come on get your act together.

Visited today with a return. I lost my receipt and was asked to contact customer service who would find the purchase through by bank payment. I couldn't connect to my bank online, became increasingly distressed and upset, the lady on the phone patiently waited, whilst other staff helped me. Kim was a treasure, helping me with my phone, the lady on the phone, sorry don't remember your name, think it was Sue found the relevant transaction and issued a refund. This was the branch in Stamford. My sincerest thanks to you both for your patience and kindness, it was a pleasure to deal with you both.

I needed to return recently purchase to store but had lost my original receipt my original receipt. The member of staff I spoke to in store told me not to worry and gave me the telephone number of Customer Services. When I contacted customer services I found the operator very pleasant and helpful. She quickly found my transaction and e.mailed me a copy of the original receipt. The whole procedure went like clockwork. I'm off to the store now ..... very happy customer indeed.

Was not given a receipt for item but never thought I would need a refund. The manager said I need to contact CS so they could trace transaction which they did and immediately sent confirmation email. Refund sorted! Charlotte was very helpful in the store too. I would also like to mention that the Cambridge black out curtains DO NOT BLACK OUT DAYLIGHT!

On returning a damaged item to your Robroyston Glasgow store, because I had initially declined my receipt my return was refused. I believe that staff who are told to ask if you want one should also convey the implications if you happen to refuse it regarding returns, this was not explained at the till. I then contacted customer services and dealt with a lady called Isabelle who personified what customer care really means, nothing was a problem to her and she took me through the process of getting my money refunded from start to finish, Isabelle I Thank You for restoring my faith in customer care, I would like to add that money was not the issue here it was plainly the principle. If B&M are refusing returns because you made the mistake of declining your receipt then this needs to be highlighted at the checkout.

Purchased a travel mug and crisps and did not take receipt as felt this was not required as had no intention of returning. Bought using debit card.
Within a week the handle fell off the mug so visited my local store with the mug and showed my bank statement. Was told as I did not have the original receipt they could not help me and I had to return to the store I purchased from. I advised I could not do this without incurring additional costs and/or having to ask for someone else to take me again at a additional cost was told nothing could be done.

These items must go back to the exact store where you bought them
Have contacted head office who have now sent a copy of my receipt but want to warn others do not buy anything from any store without taking your receipt as the stores will not help even if the product is faulty!
