Also trading as Mel’s Flowers NZ
Also trading as Mel’s Flowers NZ. Late, poor quality. Offered refund of same day delivery fee and $30 store credit. Useless as I will not use this service again. Beware of the website over promising products and delivery! I can see it’s not isolated either.
Flowers arrived squashed in a brown box…
Flowers arrived squashed in a brown box & were mostly alstromeria with ONE gerbera & were yellow tones which weren't pretty .I contacted them & sent photos & they offered $25 off next order.....lol adding insult to injury & that'll cover the delivery!!!!! never again. This was Hamilton area delivery

seriously overpriced for substandard flowers. an absolute ripoff. delivered to wrong address two days late, spent $110 for something that looks like a $40 bunch of flowers at the supermarket for better flowers. avoid at all cost.
PoorFlowers arrived a day late and quality and service shoved…
Flowers arrived a day late and shoved in a box with teddy bears squashing flowers, the flowers were brown on edges and wiltered, the card had no message on it was blank, there was a typed message on the advertising/ receipt . Would not recommend bloomex at all.
Wish I had read reviews first
Wish I had read reviews first! Flowers arrived 3 days late for mothers day despite advertising they would be delivered on the day. Company wouldn't respond to any of my emails. When the flowers finally arrived they were not anything like what was ordered. They were a small bunch when we had paid for an extra large one and the flowers were totally different. What a waste of money. Couldn't have done worse. Only giving them one star so I can post a review.
Company is a SCAM
Company is a SCAM - Do not use. Ordered flowers for next delivery and advised it would delivered 7 days later (for fresh flowers!). Will not refund and conversations with the call center makes no sense/just talk in circles.

I would have given the no stars if I could.
Ordered flowers for almost $200 for my mum after she had open heart surgery.
Ordered them to arrive the day she was returning home from hospital.
They arrived a day late, they were a pathetic small bunch with broken and dead flowers. Extremely disappointing!
The offered me a $20 credit! An insult after sending such shit flowers at such a critical moment in our family’s life
Lovely birthday flowers 💐
Lovely birthday flowers delivered on time. Mark and other call centre staff were super helpful!
Ordered this and got these.
Ordered this and got these. Can’t attach photos.
Bloomex was APALLING to say the least
Bloomex was APALLING to say the least. I called them on a Saturday & they assured me that the flowers would be delivered the same day. As you would expect, given that they charged me a $5 surcharge for the privilege of delivering that very day even though they are flowers & a living item.
Once NZ Post picked the flowers up I received an email saying they expected delivery to be 3 days later. I promptly contacted Bloomex to double check that they would be delivered on the day they were ordered given that they would wilt & that I had paid an extra surcharge to have the same day delivery. A person on the end of the phone assured me that they would be delivered that day. They weren't.
I happened to be at the delivery address I had requested today (3 days after ordering) when the flowers arrived - in a sealed box that they had been in since Sat (when ordered & today is Tuesday). Frankly, I was embarrassed at the state of the flowers - they were wilted & the bunch was so small. No surprises that they were wilted after soending the last 3 days in a dark sealed box.
For a cost of $97.00 I would have expected a far better service, quality of product & THE ACTAUL TRUTH about a delivery date. To be told I needed to pay a surcharge over & above their normal delivery fee for same day service & to call & be reassured that they would provide a same day service & then to have the flowers arrive in a poor state 3 day later is absolutely unacceptable.
To anyone who reads this - STAY AWAY FROM BLOOMEX. As it transpires, they aren't even based in NZ - their call centre is in Europe & the whole business is a farce.
One star is too much for this company
One star is too much for this company. The mothers day gift basket was an absolute joke. Including delivery it was just under $300, and the box contained 6 plastic pots of candy floss, 6 packets of dry cream crackers and 13 chocolate bars, of only two flavours. I wish I could upload pictures to show this utterly disappointing joke of a gift basket, which was clearly nothing like what was advertised. I complained about it, and sent photos and was treated as if I was trying to scam them. They finally offered a $50 credit, which would have forced us to spend more money with them. I don't know what was the bigger joke - the gift basket or the offer of a $50 credit. Do not use this company.
Failed to deliver flowers for a funeral…
Failed to deliver flowers for a funeral service, when I chose the florist I thought they looked 'local', the flowers were supposedly sent from Auckland. Went back to the TOWN hall the next day just in case. Not there, never ever again. Hard to understand. I think I was lied toi as well.
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY
Flowers sent by courier from Auckland to Feilding for mothers day Sunday. Arrived Wednesday dead. Not professional arrangement stalks about 6 inches long with a jam jar as a vase. When contacted they weren't prepared to reimburse or any way or form don't use.
RUNNN
RUNNN. Brought flowers for my family when my pop died. Paid for the bigger bunch
It was delivered as the tiniest thing you've ever seen! I emailed customer care with no reply.
Days later our account had HUNDREDS of dollars taken out from multiple different sites (hello fresh, Uber etc).
Not only dealing with death now, but loss of money and theft too
Disgraceful product
Disgraceful product, service and support. Do not use this service. A $1 chocolate bar does not excuse a days late delivery of damaged and dead blooms. We didn't order a chocolate bar, we didn't want a chocolate bar. Support service was a collection of very narrowly scripted responses and next to useless. Alround, a terrible experience.

My son purchased flowers for his mother. The flowers were in terrible condition with some brown and wilted. I contacted Bloomex by email asking for replacement or refund for my son but received no reply. I would definitely avoid using Bloomex.
NO STARS NO STARS- I wish I had read…
NO STARTS NO STARS- I wish I had read these reviews! What a joke of a company. All you get is automated responses with not even a name at the bottom just... "Bloomex New Zealand's Official Florist Team". Promised same day delivery to Wellington - got an email late that afternoon saying they were being sent from AUCKLAND. Of course late the next afternoon they arrived half dead - how could they not in a NZ Post courier van/truck. Very poor amount of flowers also for what was chosen from website and did not look the same by any stretch of the imagination. Requested several times for a phone call to discuss and that hasn't happened - just hiding behind their keyboards. Give these guys a miss if you are wanting those special flowers for someone cause they won't deliver that's for sure!

I would give a minus review if possible. Total SCAMMERS. Ordered flowers 11/4 - they said they arrived but nothing did. Its now 25/5 still no flowers. What AHoles!!!!!!!!!
SCAMMERS## Also trades under Mels…
SCAMMERS## Also trades under Mels Flowers appearing like a local company, copying their name and logo. Their product all appears legit but it is a scam. Ordered bunch of condolences flowers bouquet with card, around $80 for standard size. What arrived was 1 a small pathetic white half dead rose with trimmings and no card. It was embarrassing. Mortified I requested a refund as I had to purchase another bouquet to make up for that embarrasment. They will not refund even though I took pics clearly showing what I paid for is not the product they supplied. Disgusting. How is this legal???
If I could give this company no stars I…
If I could give this company no stars I absolutely would. Advertise and market same day delivery- it’s not. Flowers arrived a week later, no communication, not able to answer their phone or emails. Luckily the recipient still received them despite having left hospital address. Not a fast , friendly or local supplier as they portray online website.
