So I wait for my IBAN since about two…

So I wait for my IBAN since about two months, I opened an account at Blackcatcard and also everything is super, I can buy in stores and also buy online but I really need the IBAN now, I have to make money transfers through online services and it would just be so much easier when I just can use an IBAN, these IBAN problems really sucks!

Mucho cuidado

Mucho cuidado, una cuenta que no funcionaba para nada y de la cual les han hackeado varias veces. Hace bastantes meses dejé de usarlos por un fraude que me hicieron en la tarjeta, una tarjeta que NUNCA he usado online, la tenía porque me la dieron pero la usaba para SEPA y me llegó un cargo. Solo puede haber sido desde su sistema.

Desde hace 1 año, han tenido otra brecha de seguridad que han robado nuestros datos personales y los estan usando para phising.

El soporte es negasto, copia y pega, no te dan IBAN y NO ME DEJAN CERRAR LA CUENTA porque dicen que sobre una cuenta a 0€ que lleva mucho tiempo con problemas y sin funcionar, que tengo fees pendientes. Esos fees ni los ha aceptado nunca (han cambiado sin aceptarlos ni avisar) ni he podido usar la cuenta porque su proveedor de pagos da problemas en bancos españoles.

Be very careful, an account that was completely useless and has been hacked several times. Several months ago, I stopped using them due to fraud on my card, a card that I NEVER used online. I had it because they gave it to me, but I used it for SEPA and I received a charge. It could only have been from their system.

For the past year, they have had another security breach where our personal data has been stolen and is being used for phishing.

Their support is terrible, just copy and paste responses, they don’t give you an IBAN, and they WON'T LET ME CLOSE THE ACCOUNT because they say that for an account with 0€ that has had problems for a long time and isn't working, I have pending fees. I never accepted those fees (they changed them without accepting or notifying), and I couldn't use the account because their payment provider has problems with Spanish banks.

6 months no money

They will not give you your money.
As you can see in the comments regarding sepa, it is all a generic same response. I have been waiting since januari now for €2750 to be sent via sepa (they have blocked my account and i have sent my iban out for them to send my funds) well we are 6 months further now and no progress. Upon chatting with livechat i get the same response about sepa data transfer to new provider etc. Looking on trustpilot they give the generic response. Overall, i think i lost my €2750 and i genuinely think all of you have lost their money aswell. I have warned these guys i will press legal charges, and now i will. I would recommend all of you to press legal charges against Papaya LTD.

*UPDATE*
As you can see on the response they gave, its the same nonsense they keep repeating. Its month 7 now and i have started persuing legal actions. I still recommend all of you to do the same.

Blackcatcard cryptocurrency service

Today I tried to use the Blackcatcard crypto service to withdraw my money, which I have not been able to use for 4 months now.
I placed an order to buy Bitcoin.
The order received the status "processing".
Over time, the status of the order did not change in any way, so I contacted the support service, where they told me that the order would be processed “by the end of the day.”
I don't understand how this is possible?
How can a crypto service independently choose the moment of order execution?
Who will bear the losses if the cryptocurrency rate falls during this time?
Who will profit if the exchange rate rises?
My request to cancel the order was denied.
I think this is all a scam.

After six months waiting NO MONEY

After six months waiting NO MONEY . I still can’t recover my money (from December 2023). I wrote ore of ten times , but everything is useless. They toke my money as a scam. Only “non sense words received” , but no one euro. I think this is a 100% scam.

dormacy fee scam after years,avoid in any case

they do not care for your cancellation of account and two years later send you an email with announcement of dormacy fee of 15 bucks upoming months. on cancellation of account request once more they answer you no canccelation before you topup 15 euros for 24 months to equalize fees. but in account it is -15/+15 = 0 balance months per months and main page balance 0 too. so they just try to scam you. unless you pay them they do not close your account. reported to malta authorities or sure instant

Dormancy fee occurs if a client has a Blackcatcard account, but it’s been inactive for over 6 months. We do our best to provide the best pricing to our clients, and you know the maintenance of your account is free for a client. However, when an account is inactive, its maintenance costs us money, which is unsustainable for us in the long run. If you don’t use your account — there is always an option to close it. In this situation, we don’t force you to pay a dormancy fee.

Here's an extract from the support response:

I had a horrendous experience with BlackCatCard that I must share to warn others. First and foremost, BlackCatCard is NOT a bank; it is an Electronic Money Institution (EMI), which means your funds are not guaranteed or protected.

I joined BlackCatCard attracted by their 4% interest program, but my experience quickly turned into a nightmare. For months, I dealt with card payments not working, ATM withdrawals failing, and account functionality deteriorating. Despite constant assurances that they were “working on it,” no real solutions were ever provided. The situation got so bad that I feared losing all my money.

After numerous failed attempts to top up my iCard account with a handful of money due to BlackCatCard's incompetence, I had no choice but to transfer my funds from their cryptowallet. This desperate move cost me nearly €500 in fees and conversion charges. This loss is solely because BlackCatCard is completely unreliable and fails to ensure the security of their customers' funds.

A representative on their chat service even admitted that funds are kept in a separate bank account. This was later confirmed by one of their assistants. But what good is this if you cannot access your money when you need it?

Their hidden fees are outrageous, and the uselessness of their cards in Google, Apple, and other wallets makes them even more worthless. Customer service is non-existent; responses are automated, and any escalated tickets remain unresolved for months. In the last month alone, over 10 of my tickets were ignored.

BlackCatCard is on the brink of collapse. The absence of SEPA transfers is a clear sign they are trying to prevent mass withdrawals. Unless they refund the money I lost in fees trying to rescue my funds, I will not remove this review.

I urge everyone to steer clear of BlackCatCard. Opening an account with them is like walking into the lion's den. I must be honest and empathetic to prevent others from suffering the same fate. Save your money and avoid this scam at all costs.

Since 2024 just a piece of s..t

was realy good for many years, realy 10 stars worth but since beginning of 2024 its just useless.
IBAN doesnt work, so you cant recieve or send any money with sepa. top ups with mastercard will just be on-hold forever and they tell you "they are waiting for confirmation"... i managed to get my money back by sending from Blackcatcard mastercard to another bank mastercard!. If you try to get a physical Card dont try, nothing will arrive.
We are nearly waiting 6 months now and still nothing works. They just changed their excuses but its still the same s..t. Dont waste your time with the support, they will always tell you the same copy paste answers

Its not ok

Its not ok. From 8 june morning I want buy my vitamins.(to send from paypal to black cat card no problem, money received very fast.. You want use now that money? Not possible.. ) But i can't. Still nothing after 1 month

registered an account online. Gave all the required information and ordered the card through express delivery. Now, 1 month later, I can open the app, but still no IBAN, and I haven't seen the card. Only reply I get from customer support is please wait.

Repeatedly I got major failures while…

Repeatedly I got major failures while purchasing through on-line. I was not able to get the air tickets in Europe and after numerous efforts to do so I got zero support from help desk. This situation is happening for the second time and since the last time they had made zero progress in improving the transaction service. Please note the support desk is only about “In case you have further questions or requests, please contact us - we'll be glad to help you. Have a nice day!”. The real professional assistance is not in their duties.I am really concerned on safety of my funds cause currently they are unavailable for usage.
Good side of support is the help while fixing the malfunction of app’s icon. They are really active towards assistance.
I hope the situation with IBAN assignment will be resolved really shortly and will not take forever.

SEPA payments and other things

SEPA payments unaccessable, card always rejected, plastic card ordered with express 3 days delivery (paid for it), waiting for the delivery for 32 days now. 5 months they hold our company´s money, chat totally sucks.

It seems like a scam

It seems like a scam. After 4 months without IBAN and sepa transfers ,now CREDIT CARD stops working.
I cannot use my money and they just tell you wait (how long??).
I will warn the authorities so maybe they can do something at least.

EDIT: as you can see, they just copy-paste the same message again and again, without reading what you say. Same with the Customer Care. CREDIT CARD is neither working since a week ago and I already told you through the app without any solution.

Attention: Scam

Still no information, it's been over 3 months since their transition and SEPA transfers don't work. I think I lost my money. Don't go there !!!

(and you won't get my information because of your useless and inefficient support.)

no, I won't change my mind, even my card doesn't work anymore after several months, negative support response, no progress, everyone is full on the networks.

Regarding the situation with SEPA transfers:

We're truly sorry that you've experienced inconveniences at this time, precisely while we were transitioning to a new SEPA transfer service provider.
Currently, the replacement process is complete, and we are now connecting our clients to use the SEPA payments. Due to the technical complexities involved in the onboarding process, the connection of clients is done in stages, which might extend the time frame slightly.

Please wait for your new IBAN account to be assigned to you so you can make and receive SEPA transfers. As soon as this happens, you will receive a push notification in the app and an email with instructions on how to use your new account details.

We would also like to remind you that all our other services are fully functional and available for use.
These include services such as:
- Cryptocurrency service. Deposit, spend, and transfer your cryptocurrency!
- Payment card. Make purchases and withdraw cash from ATMs worldwide!
- Internal transfers.

SCAM!!!!

SCAM!!!!! I will report this company to the Better Business Bureau. First Binance Pay stopped working. Their cards are being rejected by all merchants starting from June 1st and SEPA Payments are not working. So what exactly can you do? NOTHING! You can sit there and be scammed and laughed at in your face by scammers. I cannot believe Binanace associated their names with these thieves. Then again, Binance is a scam as well. They do not have a timeframe for any answer, the only answer is the issue is 'in the works', it will take 'some time' and they will 'get back to you'. Unreliable filthy thieves. They will definitely be reported. They cannot be free to handle people's money like this.

More then 3 months they can't provide…

More then 3 months they can't provide SEPA payment method.
Constantly they move deadlines by telling stories how you need to wait to they set up your IBAN, since they have a lots of clients. Truth is, they didn't open one single new IBAN account. ECB is very interested for Blackcatcard in a negative way, and SEPA will not be solved by any time soon.

SWIFT also is not working, card2card or anything what can help you to top up account. Crypto is another story.

I can't top up my account at all, but in same time they put me in negative balance 45e for atm commissions 6 months ago.

Support is absolutely not helpful.
