It's rare to find a financial app that actually does what it promises. This one does

Blackcatcard absolutely saved my day in the Middle East. I landed and went to pick up my Europcar rental, but my bank had blocked my primary credit card for "security reasons." Europcar requires a credit card (no debit cards allowed).
Thankfully, I remembered my Blackcatcard functions as a credit card. The transaction went through perfectly, and I got my rental car without any delays.
Perfect backup solution when traditional banking fails you at the worst moment. Highly recommended for travel!

I love the flexibility – I can switch between cashback and 4% mode depending on the month.

Actually, this card must improve more for 5 stars but now it has good cashback that I use comfortably for saving my resources. Many thanks to support and I hope you will improve this card and it will be perfect.

I travel often, and this is the only card I consistently rely on. It worked across Europe, even in smaller towns. Crypto top-up helped me cover a hotel bill once - that alone made it worth it.

I mostly use this app for managing side income from marketplaces. SEPA incoming payments work, and I can quickly spend with the card or withdraw. No need for a traditional bank anymore.

Best thing? No monthly charge if you use the card regularly.

The crypto deposit feature is solid, but limited to a few coins

I’ve recently started exploring Blackcatcard and found the experience surprisingly smooth. The app is clean and intuitive, and setting up an account was fast. I liked the option to manage both euros and crypto in one place — not many services offer that.

I had a very disappointing experience with Blackcatcard. I submitted all official documents issued by the Saudi government, including my National Address Certificate, which is fully valid and accepted across all institutions in my country. However, they kept rejecting everything with vague and unreasonable excuses.

They demand documents that simply do not exist in our region, such as utility bills in your own name – which are usually under the family head’s name here. They refuse to adapt or understand that other countries have different systems.
Their system is rigid, outdated, and their support team offers no real help. They don’t accept valid documents and treat Gulf users as if their documentation is fake or invalid.

It’s clear they don’t want Saudi or GCC customers. Their process is extremely frustrating and shows no respect for non-European clients.
Avoid this platform at all costs. Completely unsuitable for users from the Gulf or countries with different documentation standards.

They are simply scammers !!!!!
My incoming transfer in pending for a crazy amount of hours and support does not even work. They use simple templates to answer and say that they have nothing with pending as this is their paertners whom manages. Why do I need to care ? I did not sign anything with your partners I started cooperate with you. Don’t trust them if you want normal days without stress. After a while they also blocked me to access the support chat.

Just today I was checking my account with Blackcatcard, and, after 18th months waiting for my money . And , with giant surprise , I saw my available funds are “0”. Someone had stolen my money in Blackcatcard. No one responsible there!

I was reading news and this Blackcatcard is a Russian organisation, managed by Russians . I can’t understand how the Government of Malta permit this mafious russian activities in the European Country.

I only can say , I can’t recover my money in anyway . Russians have it !! Each day more and more bad situation in this Blackcatcard

Notice for European customers: Take care with this organisation!!! Your money can disappear at anytime. Nothing is safe , nothing is normal, there. If you love your money , better don’t put it there …

They block access to emergency medical funds – heartless and dangerous

I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a financial service.
Blackcatcard blocked all outgoing transfers on my account — without explanation — right after receiving funds sent via Mangopay.

What makes it worse?
The funds were collected through a medical crowdfunding campaign to help someone suffering from a critical heart condition. While the patient was hospitalized, Blackcatcard wasted over 24 hours with generic replies, contradicting themselves in chat, and repeatedly asking for ID and phone number I had already provided.

Even after confirming I was an “authorized customer”, they continued to hold the money hostage.
Meanwhile, a life was on the line.

This is not just poor customer service — it’s inhuman.
I am documenting everything and filing complaints with the CSSF, CNPD, and European Central Bank.

If you’re considering using this service, don’t.
They might accept your money, but they won’t let you use it when it matters most.

I invest in cryptocurrency on different platforms. And the Blackcatcard service helps me a lot in this. The platform is stable, I instantly replenish my account with cryptocurrency. And then I can safely transfer bitcoins to euros and make purchases. The service is excellent, I have been using it for a long time, I have never had any problems or delays with transfers.

The black card feels premium. Setup was fast, and the app is smooth.

The 4% savings rate is excellent, but I don't like that I have to choose between thst and cashback. I'd love a hybrid option. Also, the UI is a bit too minimal for my taste - would prefer more detail.

The app is well-designed, but I’ve had mixed experiences. Verification took almost two weeks, and during that time, I couldn’t use my account. Now that I’m fully set up, everything works fine, but onboarding was a hassle. If they improve that, this would be a 5-star service.

Great app and the card. Never had any issue with it, I have used it just for money transfer from other wallets and then paying with the card in foreign countries.
