I have been a customer of BikeTiresDirect for many years and have purchased a wide range of the products they offer; tires, tubes, pumps, computers, handlebar tape and other similar items to maintain my bikes. Each purchase has been swiftly handled and delivered.
None of these transactions were major purchases but when my Shimano Ultegra 6703 triple shifter failed beyond repair it became time to replace the whole drive train. Because of my very favorable experience with BikeTiresDirect, I called them and asked if they could supply a full drive train, the Shimano R8000 all mechanical series, with my specifications. The salesperson, Erik, carefully listened to what I asked for and very skillfully put together the components I wanted and sent an email quotation as we spoke on the phone. He unhesitatingly made a few notable price adjustments and I made the purchase. The box of components arrived, free shipping, two days after we spoke. All components were as specified and are now installed and running beautifully on my now restored bike.

I've been buying from BTD for years. It is the web bikeshop that I purchase from most often. They run great specials, have a wide selection, and shipping is fast. My only ding is that the restocking charge on returns when you opt for a payment refund instead of store credit. But if that is what it takes to deliver on the rest of the plusses, then I'll take it.

I ordered a crank arm and pedals late in the day on a Thursday with overnight delivery. I figured the wouldn’t go out until Friday morning and arrive Saturday. I was surprised that they went out the same day they were ordered and arrived on Friday. Great service on their end, I was able install it that day!
