Delays, delays, delays, and more delays
I've ordered from Bike24 twice in the last month. Both shipments got stuck at the DHL Express gateway in Finland for approximately two weeks each. Four weeks of waiting, on a service advertised as Express.
After the second incident I called DHL directly to find out what was going on. Their answer was specific and identical to what must have happened the first time: Bike24 does not transmit customer contact details to DHL Express. The phone number they send is "+49" followed by zeros. No email either. DHL therefore has no way to contact the recipient to coordinate delivery, and the parcel just sits at their warehouse.
I entered my correct phone number and email at checkout both times. This is not a customer error, it is a defect in Bike24's checkout-to-carrier integration, and it is not being fixed.
To actually get my parcel before the weekend, I had to rent a car and drive to the DHL warehouse to collect it myself.
The product selection and prices are competitive, but Express shipping that consistently takes two weeks cancels out any price advantage. Bike-Discount.de and Bikable.fi offer comparable pricing without this problem (both take less than 1 week to be delivered).I'm not ordering every again and I'd recommend other EU customers think twice before paying a premium for "Express" service that doesn't function.

For data protection reasons, we are unfortunately not allowed to forward our customer contact details (phone number or email address) to a carrier. However, it often helps if the carrier also has a phone number of the recipient.
But here is a little trick for your next order: just write the phone number in the address suffix of the delivery address, then it will be automatically printed on the shipping label at the parcel.
Thanks to your help, the delivery time for your order, as stated in the shop, of up to 9 working days has been met.
As a thank you for your help and to make up for the inconvenience, we will refund you the shipping costs.

A plethora of cycling products and equipment, and i was really happy to see that i received "fresh tyres" build only about 2 months ago. And the delivery was great i ordered just before easter and they arrived well pckaged. Great products and fast delivery that's what matters 90% of the time

Consistent for years
Consistent for years. Always delivers in a timely manor. No fuss with returns. Way better than Bikeinn/Tradeinn/Alltricks etc and some of these other terrible sites that try compete dollar to to dollar on the price of each part, but never actually have these items in stock so you have to wait multiple weeks for delivery, and that's if you're lucky. Then they have bad and slow return policies, and expensive shipping. Bike24 has it right.
