The worst customer service! They were booked for my wedding day (for day and evening food), they were meant to be set up before 1pm and yet they hadn't even arrived at that time... but worst, we had no contact from them to say if they were coming or why they were late etc! Thankfully they came, food served 3 hours late.
No labels to say what the food was, a scruffy unsigned van, a grumpy man who was sent by himself to serve a whole wedding. They put our evening food out with the day food so there was not enough left for the evening... and the worst part?.. they have not replied to my emails since the wedding, i have had no contact, no apology for being late and messing up the day. DO NOT trust this company with your wedding... disgusting service. I actually thought we had been scammed it was that unprofessional.

We had a fabulous BBQ for my 70th Birthday party , Jess was absolutely fantastic! She set up on her own , cooked everything beautifully and served it all with a smile.
Prior to the event , communication with Jo was quick and efficient and we were able to tailor the menu to suit our needs.
We would highly recommend this company!

To get a quote from BBQs & Buffets was quite easy and simple. I enquired online and next day Jen called me and send over few quotes to choose from. Jen altered eveything according to my party needs, my guest needs and she was quick to reply to all my messages. Really good service till now.

My party companions and I would all like to say how much we enjoyed the catering at my birthday weekend.

Jo has been fantastic at arranging service for the remote location we were at and came up with a broad menu that served everyone's dietary requirements. Everyone thought the food was great - really tasty, well prepared and off high quality.

Our on-site servers Leah and Madison did a fantastic job too. They arrived promptly and got everything set up very efficiently. Leah was especially helpful and attentive, making sure all the service was done in the best way, asking lots of questions to make sure I was happy with how it all ran.

Very professional and accommodating

A very disappointing experience all round. Firstly, the food arrived an hour late. But when it arrived it was not up to an expected standard and the presentation poor.
The sandwiches were just in boxes with tomatoes dumped on top. The quiches were tasteless and the arancini tasteless and very dry. No labels to identify what things were.
I could go on but the food was poor and badly presented.
This buffet was for a special birthday event but was embarrassingly poor.
After talking to Emma Cardy , I was promised a small refund. This was 8 months ago but I am still waiting.
Do not use this company. They are amateurs and will actually spoil your party, as they did mine.

Excellent service from start to finish. Jena was professional, polite and no ask was ever too much! Quotes were received quickly, amended (more times than I care to admit due my ever changing needs) and Jena was more than happy to support me, always welcoming and happy. One of the main reasons I selected this company to cater for my wedding was because the service Jena provided was exceptional, superior to all other companies I got quotes from. I recently hired this company to do the catering for my big 60th birthday party. The food was fresh, tasty and plenty of it. I chose afternoon tea for my catering and it was delicious. So many compliments about the food especially the salmon sandwiches and pork pie and also the cakes. The scones with butter, jam and clotted cream went down a treat but we had to wrestle the strawberries from my Grandaughters. Guests all wanted to take home a plate of food so they did. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again next time I need an event catered for. Very happy.

Jen has been fantastic answering all my questions about our wedding bbq catering! Really reassuring to know our special day is being dealt with by professionals who really understand the planning logistics.

Unfortunately, our experience with the food fell short of expectations. We ordered the luxury finger buffet for a birthday party. The Indian selection was particularly disappointing—dry, lacking flavour, and not up to the standard we had hoped for. Despite requesting an allergen list in advance, none was provided, and the labelling on the food that did arrive was inadequate, making it difficult for guests with dietary requirements to choose safely. When the sandwiches were opened, the labels came off, leaving us unsure of what was what.
Overall, the taste of the food was quite bland, and the balance of items provided felt poorly planned. There were insufficient crisps for the number of people catered for, while the amount of sandwiches was excessive. Additionally, the chicken bites were unappealing in appearance and not appetising to guests.

The coronation chicken baguettes were the only item that guests genuinely enjoyed. Beyond that, we were left dissatisfied with the quality of the food and the overall attention to detail.
We hope meaningful improvements are made for future customers.

We have just booked these for our wedding and so far so good. The quote was very easy to understand and navigate. Thomas was always on the end of the phone/email to make sure everything went smoothly and make me feel at ease. If the rest of the staff are as pleasant and helpful then we are in for a treat. Great customer service and easy booking form

Absolutely outstanding service from my initial contact with Joanne ftom BBQS AND BUFFETS right through to the end. Fantastic food. Fantastic portions. The quality of the food was amazing. We opted for the tea party package. Truly magnificent. Alisha who attended the buffet presented the food to the highest degree. Alisha was a true perfectionist. The company made my husbands party a true delight .Thank you so much.

Responded very quickly to my initial enquiry with a full quote and various packages to choose from. Plenty of information gjven and there looks to be a good amount of flexibility. Very pleased so far.

We haven’t had our wedding yet, but I already feel so thankful to be working with Jen from Event Catering BBQs and buffets. From the very start, she has been nothing short of amazing. She’s answered every single question I’ve raised (and there have been many!) with patience, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm. Used a few times now and always excellent food and service. Just had a party this weekend and as always there is no shortage of everything. Can’t recommend highly enough!!
