just got to the senior portion, and its been great so far!
I started baxterclewis in February, Today i just passed my final and am heading into the senior portion and couldn't be more excited. This program is incredible and i feel like I've absorbed the teachings easily. I will say that the way i learn is a little different from others, i feel i need a full understanding of the context before i can say i get something, so i found myself doing a lot of self study learning these technical systems that pci refers to and what i would have like to see as part of the learning portal is some self made or approved videos talking about how these technical systems work together as to not be given misinformation on youtube or some other source(specifically about networking, encryption, pen testing ect). Maybe making it like an "elective" course because obviously you do not need to know all this stuff to be successful in pci, that's for the tech guys to know. But that is all i would change, I'd like to add that many people right now are in a position where they feel kind of powerless in their professions and lives and i feel that adopting the authority mindset would do wonders for people, like it did for me. Very grateful to the instructors both Boyd and Will and to my Success adviser Janelle. 100% would recommend

Well, I'm back for another review! I made a post early on at the start of the CASP program about the satisfaction, that I was receiving from pushing through the peaks and valleys and I still feel about the same! As I stated in my previous review, to be successful in this program - you have to be willing to change your mind as you are being called to a higher, better version of yourself. As I move through the levels of the CASP program, the program has contributed to a stronger understanding of the saying now that "validation is for tickets, not me." In continuance, I am learning through this program that I have always had what it takes but just needed some encouragement to turn on that understanding. In closing, I am satisfied with my experience with the program, the collaborative effort of all involved, and the "push" for all of the participants to trust the process as well as unapologetically, and systemically stretching our critical thinking skills. I continue to look forward to what is next!

Update 04/28/24
After getting through the first part of the program as mentioned above, you are passed on to the final phase of the program before starting the internship. You have to submit one final assignment.
This assignment is graded by a man named Joe Bonano. He solely makes the decision if you move forward (or not). After several rounds of me submitting my work (via email), he responded to my concerns about the project by saying:
"I have had 100s of people receive comments from me and successfully complete this project. If you want to blame me for your shortcomings, that is your prerogative."
I couldn't believe he addressed me in this manner, with such blatant disrespect, bias, and humiliation.
I forwarded the email to the leadership team, namely, April Lewis and Christina Cuevas.
They ignored my email regarding this issue without addressing it, which caused further disbelief, disappointment and disbelief.
There is no shortage of talent in tech, the challenge is the Joe Bonano's of the tech community have absolute power to decide the fate of people who are trying to enter tech.
I can only imagine how many people's lives he's destroyed and prevented from entered tech due to his discrimination and biases. Discrimination and biases the leadership of the Baxter Clewis Training Academy turns a blind eye to in order to make as much money as possible.
Instead of responding to my concerns, they have instead failed me out of the program for "untimely submission" and instead allowed me to remain in the "self-guided pathway"
This school is one of many of the boot camps that who have Joe Bananos' preventing people like me from entering tech due to his discrimination and bias, coupled with the code of silence by the leadership.
I do not recommend attending this boot camp.

Great program for disciplined students
I'm still going through the program, I'm at junior level right now about to take the final soon. I think this is a great program if you are a disciplined person, and good to study on your own. The resources are all there and are available, it's up to you to study them and go over them and have that focus, especially if you are working a full time job, to study on all your free time and focus in. The program provides success coach that you meet weekly, access to calls and a community when you are stuck and need some assistance, you can ask and get a reply pretty quickly. I have an amazing success coach, Janelle, she gives me tips every time we discuss my progress that has helped me enormously in moving along in the program. I'm excited for the future and I know this is the right path.

I've gained some valuable experience with this program, but not worth the cost that I paid.
I believe the program is legitimate and you will gain some valuable information and training, however, my experience wasn't what was explained to me by the sales person. The coaching was very professional and sincere. I feel like I was caught in the middle of processing issues ( changes in the systems etc... ) I am currently in my intern consultancy and there is value in this program. I don't feel the value is worth the expense, but that's based on my experience with this program, others have better, some have worse.

5 Star Course At A Discount
I'm attending Baxter Clewis Academy as we speak. I started out hot but I have come to realize for myself that I can't rush. This is the best experience that I have had with any of the other higher learning institutions. The Course is self-paced which is right up my alley. Everyone is super respectful which is what I am accustomed to and the Coaches are amazing. My personal Coach, Janelle has gone above and beyond for me and I hear the same from other students. I would make this decision again in a heartbeat. My goal of obtaining a 6-figure income is within reach and I'm almost there.

Great program that teaches more than PCI DSS compliance and certification
It's great program for both people who have some type of IT experience and people who don't have any experience in IT. The instructor, Boyld, explained in detail the payment card ecosystem and the 12 principals PCI DSS requirements with real project examples.
Every apprenant/student is assigned to a success coach who is always there to support and encourage to keep up with your learning. My success coach, Danielle, very supportive and helpful.
The program includes a very important elements what I called modules on mindset. Those modules teach students how to build and maintain an authority mindset in any given situation.
It was very helpful to learn from Will, the instructor, this very important skill.
The community of learners and alumni were also very helpful.

Baxter Clewis Training Academy is a great opportunity. I’m currently in the TDA program to gain hands on experience. I haven’t been in the TDA long but I am grateful for my experience thus far. Attending the group meetings outside of the main meetings has been helpful for me to fill in my gaps. There is a lot of information available at once presented in the internship, making it overwhelming when you first enter. Making the time to be involved as much as possible daily, will only enhance your experience. And ask questions until you understand will not only give you an understanding but the confidence in the work you produce. I only gave four stars because I am not finished in the program yet and there are still things that I need to take use of before my time in the internship is over. Overall Baxter Clewis Academy is everything it said it was when I was ready to receive it.

Great Academy
This company/academy has a great program. I had an even better success advisor in Danielle Clewis. She guided me through the entire program and is an excellent motivator. I couldn't have gotten as far as I could have without her. For me, I'm at the end of my cycle with the academy but due to personal issues/life, I did was absent for a bit that prohibited my participation for a few months. Since it's so close to the end of my contract, I didn't make it to the TD program, but that won't stop me from pursuing a career in the PCI DSS/Cybersecurity industry.

More than just a course!
This program is very special. I have done my share of courses for different things and I can tell you that I have never had so much support like I do in this community. Baxter Clewis doesn’t just care about you getting a job, they care about your mind so that you don’t just get a job, but you’re able to be confident and keep the job. Right now I’m at the internship process and I can already see the worth and what it’s going to do for me in the long run.

Junior Level Student Review
UPDATE: I have to change my review based on what I've been through at the senior level and intern level.
The school did not deliver what they promised in the end. Every time there was a live lesson on conducting audits it was interrupted. The lessons taught were just a run around. The group work was just work done without knowing if what you did was right or wrong because no true feedback was provided. There was no guidance with the work.
I requested for an instructional video to be made and that never happened. This school did not offer a curriculum that teaches you how to properly conduct PCI audits. They do not help you find any type of employment either.
Some of the employees were very rude and treated you as if you were nothing to do them. The program did not help you meet the type of requirements that employers are looking for.
The school is extremely expensive I have been scammed out of about $11,000 to $15,000 plus more interest. Avoid this academy!
I met some good people that attended the school and suffered like me. That was the only good thing that happened.

I am in the junior level of the Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist program and so far I have enjoyed the curriculum.
I just wish there were more hands on activities in the lessons. Having a success coach that guides you during a good portion of your journey makes a huge difference!
The courses are self-paced and moderately challenging. It’s not required but having prior IT experience can be beneficial for students.
