Whilst there are numerous road-based tours, we can give you an alternative view that is off the beaten track. Most tours are over three or four days and you have a choice of hotel or camping based.

Battle of the Somme - 2017
What can I say about this trip? The organisation was excellent and everyone was so friendly. This is a trip I would HIGHLY recommend. We met some incredible people and was lucky enough to share this unique look at The Battle of the Somme up close and personal with them. We were invited along to Thiepval Memorial to a remembrance ceremony - this was a great honour. The trip to the Museum was fabulous, the off-roading was an awesome experience (we tried so hard to be the muddiest of the vehicles but were sadly beaten) but we came a close second. We have been back for several weeks but have talked about our trip so much I hope more people are encouraged. These incredible men will never be forgotten!!

Somme Battlefields Tour: absolutely outstanding
It is impossible to fault our trip in any way. The organisation was superb, and the knowledge of each of the guides was incredible. The tour was led sensitively and with great compassion, and the guides communicated their knowledge in interesting and stimulating ways. The 4x4 element made the tour even more enriching as we were able to access sites that other vehicles couldn't do. I can't recommend this company or the tour highly enough. The whole experience was wonderful.

Somme and Arras tours
We visited Arras in 2015 and the Somme in 2016 with Battlefields by 4x4. Both visits were exceptional and very enjoyable. To have the expertise of the team explaining and detailing the timelines, geography and emotions of these battles makes a moving impression. Of course there is fun as well and we very much enjoyed meeting others with similar interests. Highly recommended to get to those parts of the battlefields that you would never otherwise find in the company of a great bunch of guys.
