I love that this has different suction levels - the high setting is powerful on carpets, and it's much quieter than my old vacuum. It cleans my whole apartment on one charge just fine.

Avoid at all costs, bought in August and wouldn’t pick up and faulty battery, emailed then, quick reply asking the same questions over and over, send pictures and videos etc. asked for a refund no response. DO NOT BUY ITS A SCAM COMPANY SEND FROM HONG KONG

Three month awful experience

I embarrassingly, and unusually, bought a Hypersonic vacuum from Balzy on 23 August 2025 on impulse. I realised my mistake in less than ten minutes and contacted customer services to cancel the order. To be fair the customer services responded rapidly to all my communication, it's just most of their correspondence didn't relate to any of the questions I ask and broke their own policies in what they were asking. They wouldn't send me any details on how to trigger a return or refund, repeatedly telling me to refuse the delivery or leave it. I literally couldn't return it as they wouldn't give me the address. After a few weeks of this I contacted Citizens Advice who reported them to trading standards. I then contacted my bank who were able to issue a charge back under MasterCard policies. This started on September 23. Luckily I took screenshots of policies at the time and kept all the emails communication as this was vital. Balzy contested the charge back right until the last minute. They even tried to threaten legal actions against me if I didn't drop the charge back! Today I have finally learnt that I have won the case as they accepted the charge back at the 11th hour. All I wanted was a return address, which they wouldn't give. Honestly some of the utter rubbish that came from their customer service emails were something else. The company isn't UK based, despite selling in pounds and having a co.uk address to make it seem so. Judging from the times of the email replies and some other signs they are possibly based in China. I've never used the vacuum, which is still all boxed up and unopened, but the customer service experience alone is warning to stay well away. If you are silly enough to buy, like I was, then pay on your credit card so you have the best protection. It's been a stressful to three months for me, I don't recommend it.

Do not purchase products from balzy.co.uk

I purchased a Balzy Hypersonics Pro Vacuum Cleaner on 12 August 2025. It arrived, I inspected the product and was dissatisfied with its quality. I emailed customer services to request a refund but despite requesting the refund address several times, it was not provided. They advised it must be sent to China and I would receive a partial refund due to deductions (restocking fee, tariffs and shipping). I immediately raised a chargeback via my credit card provider but lost due to a technicality. I made a claim under Section 75 and today my claim was accepted. If you have purchased the product using a credit card try a chargeback but read the Mastercard/Visa/Amex rules. If you are unsuccessful, try Section 75 and ensure your complaint shows how the legislation applies (ChatGPT can help). I have since donated the hoover to charity at the request of my bank, reported balzy.co.uk to Trading Standards and Action Fraud as their business practices are dubious and unethical. I suspect it is a drop shipping scam.

A rip off

Bought a from Balzy few months ago. Found impossible to remove dust container. Several,people tried without success. Balzy stopped replying to my questions . Referred me to video which was no help at all. Now sits useless in cupboard. OAP can’t afford to be tipped off. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.

AVOID!! NO SUPPORT! NOT BOTHERED ABOU CONDITION OF APPLIANCE OR IF YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!!

Received half my order in damaged box. Opened and appliance was damaged - a crack on the main nozzle! I contacted Balzy's 'customer service' and they asked for photos. I sent photo's and was told that the appliance was fine!!! I asked asked about the rest of my order and was told that it had been delivered and they had proof because they had a signature. I asked to see the proof...the proof was a photo of a parcel outside a door. - no signature at all! I asked for my issue to be passed to a manager and they then stopped responding to my emails!!! AVOID PURCHASING...NO MATTER WHAT!!!

UNREGISTERED COMPANY IN UK-FRAUD AND SCAM

I bought the cleaner, before leaves the warehouse I cancelled it , they said we cannot do anything, I told them I won't accept it. The return policy is a nightmare , no response to emails or even return address. The company is a fraud and I informed the law office I work to start process in UK.

Also is informed the local police station in Germany, warehouse.

Wish I read these reviews before…

Wish I read these reviews before purchasing. Not worth the money they are charging for the hoovers, not good quality and have seen the same one for £100 less on TikTok and alibaba. When asking for return address they just ignore that part of the email and don’t give the return address, have put in a chargeback with my bank. Do not order!

**UPDATE** I repeatedly kept asking them via email to send me the return address knowing they wouldn’t and I asked a total of 4 times, these screenshots were enough evidence for me to get a full refund immediately after sending them onto my bank. So if anyone else is having similar problems, dispute the payment with your bank all you need is screen shots of them refusing to send you the return address 😂 jokes on you “balzy” your vacuum is ballz.

Do not order

Do not order! Company state they are a UK company, they are actually based in China!
I asked to cancel my order within 10 minutes of ordering and they ignored my multiple emails. Then emailed back 2 days later saying it was too late.
They try to make money out of you by you returning it and they keep a percentage of the money!

Terrible company avoid …

Terrible company after 30 emails asking for a refund nothing received. Tried to make me return to China then gave me Uk postal address which I returned product to. Trying to add all sorts of charges to reduce my refund. Very bad company should not be trading.

Avoid

AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD

Where to begin!!! This product is a cheap imitation of a Dyson, the plug fell apart in my husbands hand so we couldn’t charge, I have asked to send the product back and they do not listen keep asking the same questions over and over again!!! I’ve now reported them to Trading Standards and my credit card company, I have over 20 emails and they do not listen, AVIOD AT ALL COSTS

Feeling scammed!

It looks good until on closer inspection you realise just how cheap the quality of the plastic parts is. I bought my hypersonic pro-vacuum in January 2025, and then towards the end of June 2025, the hose in the floor brush split and all the dirt kept spitting out. Then the folding hose button from the main wand snapped off the first time we used it with the other accessories, rendering that part useless. I wrote to their customer service in July 2025, described the fault, included photos, and was ignored for weeks. Then I sent an email through their website yesterday and I received an unbelievably short and rude reply (no apology) telling me that because my order is older than 6 months, I need to purchase replacement parts!! £180 for cheap plastic that breaks after just a few months of regular use, no standard 1-year warranty even when purchasing directly from their website, unclear and vague communication on their website on how they handle complaints and claims (I had photographic evidence, which they completely ignored), extremely rude customer service (when they actually respond!) …. all red warning signs to run and stay far away from this company!!
