We used BAB Developments for a large rear and side extension. Having not completed a building project before, we were cautious about choosing a builder. Nigel was recommended to us by a neighbour and we were impressed by the work that was carried out at her house.

Having had quotes and discussions with several other builders, Nigel stood out from the others with his approachable manner and positive attitude. Throughout the project, his professional knowledge and ability to quickly and successfully overcome any challenges were greatly appreciated. The team are polite, friendly, respectful and hardworking. Nigel’s advice and suggestions along the way were paramount to the project’s finish and have helped us to create an amazing living space for our family. The finished project is of the highest standard, due to Nigel’s meticulous attention to detail and the craftsmanship of his team. We highly recommend BAB Developments.

Nigel and his team worked on my project of converting my garage into an office space with French windows opening on the garden.
Before contacting Nigel, I was with another builder but I did not trust them. Nigel made a very good first impression. He had a very professional and technical approach to the project. He really listened to my questions. He advised me on some changes that should be made to make the project better. I am very happy with the advice he gave me. Compare to the other quotes, BAB is in a very good range.
I also need to mention that the team is amazing. They are very respectful of your environment, so no shouting or loud music, leaving the space as clean as possible when leaving (I was working home while they were working on the project).
I would definitely recommend Nigel and his team without any hesitation.

We chose to work with BAB Developments on our garage conversion into an office space. Nigel and his team were fantastic from start to finish. When quoting for the project, we were impressed with Nigels knowledge but also professionalism and friendly approach which is why we went with BAB Developments. My husband and I had always wanted to have an open plan kitchen/diner space and after living in our home for 4 years, we decided to get the ball rolling with getting the project started. We received a couple of quotes from different Building companies and when we first met Nigel, we were immediately impressed by his extensive knowledge, suggestions and attention to detail.

We decided to go ahead with BAB Developments and Nigel was aware that when we started our project I was 29 weeks pregnant with our second baby. It felt like a race against time. Having a 3 year old and a baby on the way was not easy. However, Nigel and his team were remarkable with making the renovation process as smooth as possible. The various tradesmen were all extremely polite, hard working and always finished every aspect of the job to a very high standard. They were all very tidy, too, which made all the difference.

Nigel kept us up to date via a WhatsApp group that he set up with my husband and I. We found this to be an effective form of communication, especially whilst we were both working full time aswell. Nothing phased Nigel, even when we asked him to carry out extra jobs such as knocking through to our garage and renovating our downstairs WC, he got on with the work straight away. Nigel and his team were always punctual and worked in a timely manner to get the job done. Nigel completed our project just in time for our daughter's arrival and for that, we are super grateful. We are doing another house renovation next year and we will be asking Nigel to do this building work for us again.
