I submitted my songs 2 weeks ago but, none of the a&r executives has listened to them, yet. So, I submitted my songs again yesterday. How long does it take for a&r to respond to my submission? I want you to confirm the messages I sent you and my current circumstances about whether my songs have already been reviewed or are still under review. Although I tried to text you several times, you still didn't answer me. My full name is Yang Won Sik and my artist name is 1sik. Because of the delay, I requested some of them who i sent to listen to my songs via their instagram account. I'd sincerely appreciate it if you confirm as quick as possible.

I sent an unmixed song to a manager

I sent an unmixed song to a manager, i was just starting to take music seriously and wanted to know in which way i could improve my idea, i never studied music and had no contacts. Never got a reply. At least tell me the song was shit? No? I love people being direct with me i wasn't even expecting compliments. Nothing, literally nothing. I payed for nothing, and do not come at me with "but we work with professionals" cause a professional would've told me the song was whack. I don't want nobody sugarcoating something that tastes like shit but if i pay for a service u gonna give me what i payed for. Also i asked to delete my subscription months ago and never happened. Absolutely terribile behaviour. Delete my subscription and give me back my money. U gonna see me shine. Remember my name.
Thank you.
Best regards
_Andrea Montana

Total scam - do not sign up!!

No customer service. They happily charge you for a monthly subscription without providing any services at all. Can't even upload my music. Cannot access any of my account or payment info in order to unsubscribe. I'm only surprised at how a con company like this can exist out in the open without any risks.

Great service and excellent support!

I signed up to submit a song for professional feedback and ran into a technical issue. I was expecting the typical long wait for support, like you get with a lot of sites, but was pleasantly surprised when a team member got back to me quickly and even offered a screenshare session. The issue was resolved, and they were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Thank you Trustpilot , Avenuear finally got back to me here because of you!

Hey Mike, this is to your reply about me being “butt hurt“. Maybe you should look at how many times you guys charged ( ripped ) my credit card after I canceled my subscription. The charges only stopped after I canceled my credit card. Also, and as far as your customer service , it does not exist. Since November 2024 ( if you read my review for March 2025, it says five months) I constantly sent you emails on this issue Addressed to Mike at your email and never got a response from you and I can prove that. I have been reaching out to you since November ‘24. Also, maybe the $20 was a “nudge” to a record executive , but still shows no proof that they even got my message or listened to my music, so maybe you guys need to reconstruct that offer and make it more user-friendly to show proof that it made it to the destination to the record executive or whoever. Ok, back to the so-called Customer Service issue ,.. If you look at some of the other reviews, they all say the same thing “ no Customer Service“. With that, all I ask that you kindly refund my money that you guys ripped me off for after I canceled my subscription. It is no need for us to go back-and-forth just plz kindly refund my money. thank you !

I want to sincerely apologize for any frustration or inconvenience you’ve experienced. I take full responsibility for the shortcomings in our customer service. The company we partnered with did not meet our standards, and I completely understand your disappointment.

I want to assure you that I am actively refunding everyone affected. Customer service has always been my top priority, and I’m committed to making things right for you. If you’d like, please email me directly-I’m more than willing to personally review your account and resolve any issues.

I am not getting much out of it.

I am not getting much out of it.
I have been with them for a few months now. I am paying for an account there all to have my music sit there and do nothing. I also feel gibbed because you then need to pay another 20 dollars just to send your tracks to an executive, which is another feature I don't like. I find it hard to get my head around because there is not enough clear info about how it works, not even on it's website. I will be deleting my acount soon.

Reply to your response: To insinuate that I am just a hobbyist is not a good look for you. You are supposed to support artists by helping them. Not discourage, discriminate, or post derogatory comments against them. I am not very happy with your attitude or service. I am NOT a hobbyist. I run two businesses, two music projects, and dedicate my time to music with alot of work, heart and soul. If you cannot see that then you should not be apart of this industry. Music is my full time job, A CAREER, and I am not going anywhere.

Update: I have received my refund, and I am glad you apologized. At the same time you did borderline violate section 5 of my terms of service by making the insult regarding the hobbyist comment. I will not be using your services again.
You can find my TOS on my website. Look up TheJuZShoW on google.

I listened to your music. Let’s be clear-this isn’t a platform for hobbyists. Our platform is built for serious artists seeking industry connections, record label deals, sync licensing opportunities, and artist development. If you didn’t find much to do here, it’s because this space is designed for professionals ready to take their careers to the next level.

This is an exclusive, internal platform used by music executives and their teams to scout real talent. If you didn’t get any traction, it’s simply because none of our top-tier A&R reps saw something they wanted to work with. The music industry is brutally competitive, and only the best break through.

Thanks for giving it a shot. If you have any questions, email me directly at mike@avenuear.com.

I'm truly sorry to hear that you didn't find value in our platform-it's not the right fit for every artist, and we completely understand that. Our goal is never to take money from those who don't fully understand or benefit from what we offer.

It appears you never submitted your work to any of the executives, which is actually one of the core features of our site. Given your experience, I will be refunding your four months of service. You can expect this refund to be processed within the next 5 to 7 business days. Please contact me if you don't receive it after 7 business days.

I also want to apologize for not having a more thorough screening process before artists join. This is something we're actively considering, as we want to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

As per your request, your membership with AVENUEAR has been canceled, and you will not be billed moving forward.

Thank you for giving us a try, and I wish you all the best in your artistic journey.

Old rockers never die

I have been a writer / composer for many years, and at one point dreamed of gigging around the world, but pursued another career path in life, got married, had kids, etc. Twenty five years later I dusted off my song book and I thought I would give this platform a try just for fun. I was curious to see if industry professionals would think my music is any good. So I submitted a tune. To my surprise I got some excellent feed back on the tune - from arrangements, to mixing and mastering decisions. It's clear these guys know what they are doing. I actually got a call from one of them. He was a cool dude. He helped me see that even if my dream of 'making it' as a performing artist was well in the past that there are many other ways to make some extra cash in the music industry, and many of which I didn't know about or had never considered. He seemed sincere in his desire to help artists, and guessing he is artist himself because we spoke the same language. Anyway it reignited my passion to write and record music. I plan to submit more tunes for review and to use the platform more as a tool to improve than a path to fame. My new dream is to get a few tunes picked up by a blockbuster film or Netflix series and to have some royalty revenue flowing in each month. I think this company can help me do that. I tried many times to get my tunes heard by big labels. Totally impossible. If this company can deliver a path to labels and line producers for film or whatever then I think it's well worth the cost of submitting a few tunes.

Unfortunately, I can’t verify if this is a real user since Trustpilot doesn’t show the reviewer's email. But for anyone new to AVENUEAR, here's how our platform works:

The $9.99 fee grants you access to AVENUEAR, where music executives scout talent daily. You also have the option to submit your music directly to executives' inboxes, ensuring they receive and open your track.

However, unless you’ve added the feedback option to your submission, they’re not obligated to provide feedback. If you pay for an evaluation, you’ll receive a written assessment from top-tier industry professionals. Their time is valuable, similar to hiring a business coach—you wouldn’t expect free business advice, and it’s the same in the music industry.

If you want to delete your account, just go to your profile and account settings (like on any social media platform), scroll down, and hit “delete account.”

As for DJ Clue, he won’t respond if feedback wasn’t part of your submission. An evaluation requires an additional fee.

We appreciate your input about the auto-messenger—this is something we’ll work on improving. If you have any legitimate issues, feel free to contact mike@avenuear.com, and we’ll be happy to assist!

I just found out about Trustpilot or I would have responded earlier. Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. I apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced. We take all concerns seriously and want to make this right.

Firstly, I do not currently have a record of your submission in our system. It’s possible that this is related to a technical issue we encountered when we switched servers between late January and March. During this transition, a few submissions slipped through the cracks, and our customer service, unfortunately, did not meet the standards we aim for. We are a small but growing company, and while our service wasn’t perfect during that time, we have been working tirelessly to improve our customer support and overall experience.

To resolve this situation, could you please provide me with the payment receipts associated with your submission? This will help us locate your details and ensure your music is properly delivered to the appropriate A&R teams.

Additionally, did you happen to select the add-on feature for feedback from executives? Please note that if you did not select this option, the A&Rs are not obligated to respond directly to you. If they passed on your music, that’s the only indication you would receive.

I also want to assure you that we are a legitimate company. We have contractual agreements with all the music executives we work with, and we even offer live, one-on-one sessions with them to ensure artists have real opportunities to connect and receive professional feedback.

If you have any further concerns or questions, please feel free to contact me directly at mike@avenuear.com. I am one of the founders, and I will personally ensure your issue is resolved.

Again, I deeply regret the frustration this has caused, and I appreciate your patience. Please provide the necessary information so we can address this promptly and get your music to the right people.

Sincerely,
Mike
Co-Founder

COMPLETE SCAM, UNPROFESSIONAL & NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!

Writing this review 3 months after getting no reply, deleting my account and not getting a refund. Nothing has changed til today.

I was first hopeful because this seemed like a new and revolutionary opportunity for musicians.
Submitted a Song to Sydney Alston and well.. I know it takes time as A&Rs have to listen to hundreds of songs everyday but after 2 days it said the order is completed, although I DIDN'T RECIEVE ANYTHING TO THIS DAY. On top of that, their is no live chat available on their support page though they say so and no one replies to the e-mails you send them. The website itself has a very slow load speed and gives you an unprofessional impression besides that. For a network that represents itself as a well-organized brand, this is not more than a huge scam and disgrace!!!

The major labels took another L with this one, proving once again why they shouldn't be trusted.

My Advice for all the independent Artists out there: Spend your money on Spotify & FB/Instagram Ads, but not for this bs. Lesson learned for me, well done!

SCAM COMPANY. CHARGING DELETED ACCOUNT.

I had an account with them a few years ago and they were actually legit. I had gotten a rating from Rodney Jerkins on my music but I didn't get feedback like it was advertised. That's why I deleted my account then. Fast forward to September 2023. I made another account out of desperation, knowing I wouldn't actually see anything come from this and signed up for a monthly membership. I deleted the account right after I realized this site completely changed and was charging a huge fee to submit music on TOP of already paying $20 a month. I looked in my bank statements a few days ago and this scam of a company is STILL charging me. I even forgot that I deleted the account because I was still being charged. Then something told me to try to make another account with that same email and that's when I realized they were still charging me despite the fact that my account was deleted. Now I have to file a claim and possibly get a new card. I have tried contacting them several times. There's literally nobody to contact. No customer service like there used to be. I'm so pissed off.

his matter was resolved in 2023, and the artist was refunded for the months they did not use the account. It’s important to note that the artist did not opt for the additional fee required to receive feedback from our music executives. The $20 fee covers submission to the executives' mailbox and ensures they listen to the song. However, coaching or evaluation services are available for an additional cost. You wouldn't get free advice from a sales coach without paying for it. Same difference. This platform is for artist that invest in their craft and want the ability to be heard from people that could sign them and also to get evaluations.

We also offer one-on-one Zoom meetings with the executives for those interested in more direct interaction. If there are any concerns or if you feel this matter wasn’t fully resolved, please feel free to reach out to me at mike@avenuear.com, and I’d be happy to assist you further.

This platform is the future for new artists to get their music heard by the major record labels. I can’t wait for the surge of new artists it creates. Artist are lucky to have this. Get it now and get heard before others saturate the A&R reps that the platform has access to.

This platform is amazing

AVENUEAR is a must for artists, producers, writers, and creatives in general. The Ave bridges the gap between Music Executives and creatives. They are the solicitor for inspiring Artists. If you are trying to get to a major label or A&R this is the platform for you. I wish this platform was around 25 years ago. It's here now and I'm utilizing it. I love it.

Full Disclosure: I am one of the founders of this company. I gave this 5-star rating to counterbalance an unjustified 1-star review from an unknown source. It seems Trustpilot doesn’t actively moderate or hold reviewers accountable. As an artist myself, I can say this platform is built by artists, for artists. Feel free to share your honest opinions about our company, but calling it a scam is simply not true.

We’ve invested thousands of hours into building this platform—web development, meetings, shooting interviews, podcasts, and more. To have all that effort dismissed as a scam is frustrating and unfair. We're a small company doing big things to support your music, and I truly believe this is a 5-star service. If we have failed you in any way, please contact me directly at mike@avenuear.com before posting a negative review.

The fact that Trustpilot allows ratings from unverified individuals is deeply concerning. It’s alarming that someone can leave negative reviews without any real accountability. If you examine this person's account, you'll see a pattern – all they do is call things scams without providing any concrete evidence or information. For businesses to be subjected to this kind of baseless and damaging feedback on a platform that claims to be rating-based is unacceptable. Frankly, this level of unregulated behavior on a public platform should be illegal.
