All went well when taking out policy…
All went well when taking out policy however 6 days into cover I had to go for annual check up where they discovered high blood sugar but not at the diabetes levels. Strict diet and sugar levels should return to normal. Did the right thing and reported to avantigo. They immediately voided my policy al5hough not diagnosed with illness and said only due 50% refund of premium. Had to insure with other company who said high blood sugar in its self was not a problem. Avantigo should be avoided. Foreign customer service with poor English.

When taking out a policy with us we ask that all confirmed medical conditions are declared. This means conditions that are recorded on your medical records. If the high sugar levels is not recorded as a condition on your medical records then there would be no need to declare it to us.

The person I spoke to put the wrong…
The person I spoke to put the wrong name down, and she had to phone me back 2 days later, when I eventually answers all the questions she said she had to get in touch with the medical team, l waited for her to come back on the line, l said I could phone her back but was told I would have to answer all the questions again, but when she got diagnoses right there was no charge, what a lot of rigmarole you have to go through.

Initial purchase was an excellent deal via price comparison site. On receipt of policy confirmation I had to resolve one minor issue. This was done efficiently by staff at call centre within minutes. So far so good. Looking forward to the security of our annual policy and the same excellent service should a claim be required.
