AVOID

AVOID. I purchased an Audi Q5 back in June 2024 and have had nothing but problems since I've had ownership of this vehicle. The warranty isn't worth the paper its written on, the business itself took my deposit and ignored me for nearly two weeks, I had to get a train half way to meet the dealers who were over an hour late and basically handed the car to me in the car park and left. This company sold me a car that was dirty upon arrival, had a coolant leak, four bold tires, poor service history, a broken back wiper and a dodgy MOT ( because no way did it pass with all of this wrong)

In the last 6 months I have footed over 3K worth of work on this car now to discover it had mapped work in the engine meaning, EGR and DPF failings.

I knew from the poor customer care, slack communication and delivery class of the car that it was bad news from day one.

Bought a car Peugeot 208

Bought a car Peugeot 208. After delivery I realised that no history paperwork at all. The worse case, after 4 months if driving, automatic gear box failed, cost me 3500£ to repair. Not impressed. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Purchased a car in late December

Purchased a car in late December, by the first week of January we had problems, they agreed via email to cover the cost of the repairs, we now have a car that is unusable and the owner now claiming he has no knowledge of the car he sold us, and that the company has also shut down, in all honesty, I have never dealt with a lying, deceitful and dishonest person in my life, by the looks of the reviews, I am not the only one pursuing him through the courts for a full refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Very helpful advice and good customer service.

I took my car for investigation of apparent particulate filter and injector problems and some dashboard warnings. They did the diagnostics thouroughly and concluded that the error messages were spurious, caused by faulty wiring. They physically checked the partculate filter and found it clean. They recommended that I take the car to a qualified auto-electrician, and would not charge me for all the diagnostic work they did. Though it's a pity they could not fix the problem, they were clear that it required specialist capability they did not have. They were very poliite and helpful, and I would rate their customer service very highly.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Where do I start… I bought a car from this establishment on the 7th of October with distance sale. We trusted APC for this because of their money back guarantee and general customer rights under distance selling. The car was delivered to us late in the evening and it was dark so we couldn’t really check the car. We also learned that evening that the car had failed MOT due to engine overheating 2 months prior but weirdly this didn’t come up on the gov website. This wasn’t disclosed to us before the sale.
The next morning we open the bonnet and see that the coolant is almost empty. We message the seller and he tells us to “just top it up with water”! I might not know much about cars but I definitely not that this is not good practice. I of course do not top up with water and keep asking about the overheating problem and the coolant as the two could be related. We are told that there is probably just air in the coolant and that I am just picking faults and just drive my car ! They gave me extra 6 months warranty and paid my road tax to make up for the problem but I felt like they were just throwing money at the problem so I wouldn’t see the real issue which is a faulty car.

I try to calm down and decide I’ll give the car one day to see how it drives. I top up with an appropriate coolant and drive. This coolant goes down again and this time I see there is oil in it, most probably head gasket failure. How this didn’t come up in a full service before the car was sold to us I have no idea!!

I call the next day our sales advisor Ersilan, and he declines my call. My husband sends an email informing APC we are rejecting the car and we get no answer. I don’t know how many times I have called or messaged but when I call the sales advisor, my call gets rejected EVERY TIME. ofcourse when I call the dealership, they cannot know who I am and pickup and each time they tell me that they will come to pick up the car the next day, oh no the Monday after that but never show up. The legal limit on me receiving my refund is passed. We have sent two letters, one letter before action and one before court with no response.

This place is a joke and are lying and cheating saying they will refund me. I believe I will have to go to court to get my money back.

Please don’t do the mistake I have done and only believe auto trader reviews. As you can see on google, other people have gone through the same painful process as I have. They have great customer service before sale but it becomes rejected calls and no accountability afterwards!!

Don’t trust this dealership

Delivered a car in a very dangerous and unroadworthy state had nothing but trouble trying to get the care repaired, after I had it taken to a Mercedes main dealer to look at it the dealer decided in the end it was to much to repair and cancelled our agreement without any consultation with me and took the car back, I’m just lucky I didn’t have a serious accident driving it for the couple of days I had it. Delivered 31st of august 2023 and broke down Monday 4th September 2023 My advise is keep well away from this dealership. If the dealer wishes to respond to my comments then please do so.

Bought a ford cmax recently from these…

Bought a ford cmax recently from these guys and they made it a good experience. Turned up for a test drive after leaving a deposit to hold. The car had not been valeted at the time but they explained the car would be. There was no pressure and i was allowed to test drive on my own. On returning the deal was done, i was assured the car would be valeted and having initially said i would drive the car home i asked for delivery 60miles away and they said they would within 2 days. sure enough the car was delivered fully valeted 2 days later and although ive only owned for a few days i am happy. would i buy from here again, most certainly.

Good treatment

Took a gamble and bought a car that they transported to Devon from Leeds. Without viewing the car, however the car was delivered in good condition, took a bit of a risk that paid off, good treatment throughout.

Dear Mr Llewellyn, you purchased a 14 year old jaguar, we we carried out a fresh mot before supplying you with the vehicle and carried out a full service on the car and gave you 3 months AA warranty, you purchased the vehicle at the beginning of this year we got contact from you 2 months after the purchase stating you had some faults with the car, we collected the vehicle free of charge from your premises, we diagnose the car and was found out to be a faulty injector seal which cost £1.00 from the jaguar main dealers we had this replaced and then an electronic module was faulty in the car again we order this and replaced this free of charge, this part was on back order due to the age of the vehicle these faults occurred two months after purchase, nonetheless as a company we stand to put all our vehicles in correct working order, and we are sorry you felt this way, we did
keep you in regular contact with you and we have not heard from you since you've had your car delivered back to you. we wish you all the best with you health and if you have any enquires please do not hesitate to contact us,

Excellent!

Excellent service from point of sale to delivery. I purchased the cheapest car on their books and they still gave me a 5 star service. Prompt responses via email. Great communication throughout the whole process. Definitely recommend and will most certainly be using them when I need another car in the future.
