This business took everything from me but will lie and deny everything, then turn it around on me
In October 2023, I discovered what was promoted as a passive, automated cleaning business through a Facebook post that claimed an investor had earned more than $25,000 within three months of launching, with ongoing monthly profits of $5,000 or more. I later found out the woman promoting it worked for the company—something that wasn’t disclosed at the time.
I invested $15,000 USD for a location, fully aware and accepting of the three-month setup timeline stated in the contract. But right from the start, things felt off.
Months passed without progress. By the six-month mark, the business had still not launched. Instead of the personalized updates from a dedicated manager as promised, I began receiving vague, repetitive emails that appeared to be AI-generated, filled with excuses and delays. When I requested a refund due to exceeded risk tolerance and lack of transparency, I was refused, and then blocked by both the woman who recruited me and the CEO. My follow-up questions went unanswered.
For a long time, I believed I was the only one facing these issues—especially given the abundance of glowing reviews. When I attempted to connect with others through comments, I was threatened with breach of contract. Still, I remained hopeful and silent, not wanting to risk losing everything.
The company repeatedly said they were overwhelmed and asked for grace, yet I continued to see them actively promoting to new investors. They blamed delays on people who they claimed had already left the company—only to later admit those individuals were still actively involved months after the fact. The inconsistency was deeply concerning.
In January 2025, I scheduled a meeting with the CEO, which was canceled. A second meeting was ignored. The third was attended by her partner, who admitted during the call that she had been unexpectedly thrown into it and was unaware of the meeting. Later, the company claimed that same person had been gone for over a year. The contradictions kept piling up.
Though I refrained from posting public reviews, I did try to connect with others. The company refused to create a group for investor communication, and those who attempted to join an Automagic recruiting group were blocked. In March 2025, I joined a private support group for clients of the company. There, I connected with over 40 individuals reporting the same experience: delays, false promises, threats, and fear. The patterns were undeniable, and documentation inside the group corroborated them.
Over the past 18+ months, I’ve thousands beyond the initial investment—expenses related to maintaining a legal business structure, additional software and advertising fees, lost work hours, and the emotional and physical toll. I couldn’t afford legal representation, so I sought group resolution through the support group.
In June 2025, I received another threatening message. This time, they claimed that “half the clients” had been refunded—despite telling me repeatedly that refunds weren’t possible. They suggested I try to sell my location to new investors they are bringing in, but I couldn’t in good conscience sell a business I knew wasn't operational. While I was mulling over the choice to leave the support group or stay, I was removed from the Telegram channel and my business was abruptly terminated two days later.
The efforts this company has made to silence unhappy clients are alarming. I have received multiple threats, felt isolated and gaslit, and lived in fear of retaliation for speaking the truth. I waited patiently for nearly two years, despite clear signs of trouble. I now have no business, no investment, and lingering fear of further consequences—for doing nothing more than asking questions, seeking support, and telling the truth.
