A waste of money – you can find out more on e-CSDD anyway. They promise 24 reporting points, but even the current mileage doesn't show up, only some "predicted" (and inaccurate) figure. I paid €39.99... See more

Be very cautious when you place an order. Available data could mean a single odometer reading from 15 years ago counts as "vehicle history". Basically any tiny bit of information available will count... See more

Don't trust these cheaters. They provide very poor reports and then don't want to send you money back.

Absolutely worthless

Absolutely worthless. I have purchased the report for an Audi from Belgium which cost 14 euros. However they offer a FREE add-on for those who buy cars from Belgium which you have to add to cart. I have accidentally forgot to add this free report and guess what - customer service refuses to send me the free report separately, they told me to buy the report for the full price AGAIN and add the Free report to the cart. The main information included only the damage info and did not have any photos which their competitors have. This is a complete scam with worthless customer service.

Scam

Claim to be free, but you have to get the paid report to access the "free" one. So not free at all.
Report also are completely useless.

Total scamming service!

Total scamming service!

First, autoDNA doesn't show any maintenance activity, whereas two other services I've used for the same VIN are showing exactly the same data at the same time for maintenances of the vehicle, which is in accordance with official reseller data.
Second, vehicle information is very very superficial and incomplete that you could easily find all of these in any free vin checking services online, without needing to pay anything!
Third, their "useful information" section is totally "useless" instead of useful, unfortunately! It shows a totally unrelated graph with a totally wrong average millage that doesn't even compare let alone get closer with actual millage of the car or of other VIN checking services.

I am really disappointed from autoDNA service, while being one of the most expensive ones out there with 13.40EUR for one report that I've purchased, they totally FAILED to provide any valuable information.

Incorrect information - regret the search

The very basic information I got was less than what I already new. The year of manufacturing was even wrong by 3 years. A bit disappointed I got sucked in with their 'example'. Maybe it will work better for other vehicles, but I didn't even get basic stuff (on a Vespa)

This was a waste of money!

This was a waste of money!
The report didn't tell me anything I didn't already know
I was looking to know the date of manufacture, but it didn't even have date of registration
I contacted them on 2 occasions through the chat
On the first chat, Konrad was really helpful and agreed to review the report for me, but unfortunately the 2nd copy still didn't contain what I needed
The 2nd time I went to the chat, it was with Zofia who simply said I needed to contact them by email, but the email I got back said "ticket solved" and that there was no further information available
Disappointed in spending over 8 euros and not getting what I think is basic information

Poor car review. Waste of money .

very poor results with the VIN.
The only info given was that the VIN was existing and when was car's first licence was. Also that it was not stolen in Italy, although there are good reasons to believe that it has been stolen during the last 2.5 years
No info on mileage and no info on equipment.
Waste of money. And a bad surprise!!

Complete FRAUD

I wanted to buy the report and it was listed as 9 €. I’m in the USA and the exchange rate today is $1.18. So it should cost about $10 and some change. I removed every report they automatically put in my basket except the USA one. When I went to pay, I was routed to dotpay.pl site and they used an exchange rate that brought the price to $41.39!!! Looking in my cart before going there it says 9€ for the “in USA” report. Their payment site showed under the total 9€ * 4.6239. Ya, that’s FRAUD.

Also, be careful because they will have multiple country versions of the report already in your shopping basket. You have to manually remove them. I did, but when I scrolled to the bottom they still had another one for $12 in it and I had to deleted that. Every time I came back to that main page of reports, they automatically refilled my cart with erroneous versions of the report. I certainly don’t need the Netherlands or Belgium report.

Because of these sleazy tactics and the lack of an easy interface to get a report and pay only for that report with the proper conversion rate, I deduce that this site is more of a scam than they are touted to be. Stay Away!!

Beware

Beware, this is part of a network of website scammers, they use different websites like instantcarhistory.com or autohistorypaper.com to get your information and your money making you think you are paying for a car report, sometimes they even call sellers that advertise their cars on different websites making them believe they will be buying their cars under the condition to have them buy a car report. Be careful stay away.
