Excellent training sessions

I attended online training sessions with Sarah covering sensory issues, ADHD and ASD. As a parent of a recently diagnosed AuDHD child, Sarah’s insight and knowledge was so welcome and needed. She provided a welcoming and safe space where I could also share mine and my child’s experiences and struggles and provided sound advice! Thank you Sarah!

Sarah Jane was fantastic

Sarah Jane was fantastic. I really enjoyed the session. My son and I are both neuro spicy and although i know and understand a lot about how our brains work already, it was so useful to think about it in terms of a lack of skill with regards to executive functioning. i shall recommend that my husband attends to, as it would help him to understand us more too. I will certainly be interested to attend more sessions. Thank you.

I attended a study day about autism for parents -
There were about
15 parents there and it really was one of the most informative on autism that I have attended and I have attended a few. It was really detailed and even though I feel I already have good knowledge of autism - I really
Did learn a lot because of the great detail
You went into. It was also a great thing to chat to other parents in a similar position which I feel I Also Learned from. I have been busy since woth a new job but would be keen to attend more
Of these sessions.

Executive functioning and adhd

I have just done the adhd and executive functioning education session. I found it really good as I understand more the difficulties we face as a family. I just wish I knew a way to strengthen our difficulties with it without trying to get my children to do the workshop too. I am hoping I can convince them

Hi Coralie,

Thank you so much for your kind review and for joining the ADHD and Executive Functioning session. I’m really pleased to hear it’s helped you better understand the challenges your family faces.

The most important step in strengthening these skills is psychoeducation — helping each person (child or adult) learn how their own brain works and how ADHD or autism affects them personally. This understanding is what allows them to develop their own strategies and build confidence, rather than feeling like they’re being “taught” or “fixed.”

If your children aren’t ready to join a workshop yet, that’s okay. You can start by sharing little bits of what you’ve learned in ways that feel positive and relatable to them. Sometimes, just understanding why something feels difficult is the first step to overcoming it.

Feel free to reach out if you’d like some ideas on how to bring psychoeducation into everyday life in a gentle way.

I attended a wonderful session based on Autism and ADHD. This session was informative and was explained clearly in great detail. Sarah-Jane gave an insight of the world participants with autism and ADHD deal with every day, every day is not the same for them. I think we need another follow up session....Thank you Sarah - you are very inspirational.

As someone who works with people with autism and ADHD - I would recommend this training to anybody else who does. The training was incredibly insightful and has allowed me to understand autism and ADHD to a much greater degree. Sarah was wonderful and sharing her own personal experiences made the course feel personal and unique.
