The booking process was clear and simple until I encountered a screen informing me that the fare I'd selected was no longer available. I was offered to accept a higher fare which was disconcerting.... See more

instructions are reasonably clear for person who does not fly often

easy to book with seats selection which is good, rather than I have to select the seats at airports when there are no more seats available for selection.

I got a good price and the website was very easy to use. Choosing my preferred seats was very easy. I recommend Aunt Betty.

Extremely disappointed with Aunty Betty's service. I booked a return flight to Europe with just one stop in China. My outbound journey went exactly as scheduled, but for some reason my return itinerary was changed about a month after booking without my consent.
My original return flights are still showing as operating, yet Aunty Betty changed my booking to an itinerary with two stops, much longer layovers where I will have to pay for overnight accommodation, and an arrival in Australia several days later than originally planned. I will now miss an important family event and I was also scheduled to start back at work.
I've spent the past two weeks while on my holidays (which I should be enjoying) trying to get this resolved. I've sent emails, online messages, have spent hours on the online chat which disconnects as soon as an operator is available, and attempted to call multiple times, only to be faced with wait times over 2 hours minimum and up to 4 hours —which is simply not practical when calling from overseas.
The lack of communication and customer service has been incredibly disappointing. After two weeks of trying to get a resolution, I've received no response except a message that said "call us" - which I have been unable to do due to the excessive wait times. I expected far better support when booking through a travel agent and would not recommend Aunty Betty based on this experience.
I ended up contacting the airline directly as I did not receive any timely assistance from Aunt Betty.

STAY AWAY!!
If you want a company that will help you if there’s a problem and give you your money back that you’re owed, then stay away from Aunt Betty.
Our flight was cancelled due to war in Iran, we have been waiting 14 weeks and still no refund, even thought they promised it would be done within 8-12 weeks.
Dozens of calls, each time on hold for ages, to be told the same excuses, but nothing gets done. Awful communication, only communication is if we call or email them!
Cowboys!!
If I could give no stars I would.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Booked our flights to London with Aunt Betty, the return flight was cancelled due to war in Middle East. Promised our refund would be processed within 8-12 weeks, it’s now 14 weeks and numerous calls, (where I’m on hold for at least an hour at a time) and emails later, and still no money back! I’m starting to feel like we’re never going to get it back.
We will NEVER use this company again, and strongly advise others to stay away also, very quick to take your money, not to return it! Not good enough Aunt Betty.

Utter disgrace. I have a flight and asked to change dates from longer than a week earlier and was quoted $390, I called the company 2 days after the quote was shared with me, and they said that the quote is no longer available (which is understandable) and the price is over $700 (this is not understandable!) and I gave them alternative dates to check but there was nothing lower. In the meantime, whilst I was on the phone with them, I searched for flights for my trip, and there were flights for $660. I asked the agent on the phone, that there are flights that exist for cheaper than what they want to charge me for a flight change. She said it is normal...
Another ridiculous fact is that it takes forever to get a hold of them!

If I could rate them 0 I would. They are shit house! they messed up two of our bookings on two seperate flights. We paid for baggage and seat selection and both of these were missing from our booking. Multiple phone calls later on hold and you get absolutely nowhere! Can’t speak to anyone English and they say they will look into it and get back to you, and then you never hear from them again. Despite them putting us on hold for 20 mins to “investigate the issue” - sorry what were you doing in the 20 mins? Taking a shit? DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY

While I've had okay experiences before, after needing a refund from Qatar in March due to the war, Aunt Betty have been terrible. After telling us the money was being processed for 3 months, we contacted Qatar who said our claim had already been processed. Aunt Betty appears to be denying that they've already received our refund and are deliberately delaying paying this out.

I’ve booked flights through Aunt Betty many times. It’s a very simple process and their advertised flights are always competively priced with other booking sites. A trustworthy source when booking your own flights

Booked airfares and paid with credit card. 3 days later they unilaterally cancelled booking. Credit took one week to clear debit on my credit card. Their first explanation via email at 11:08pm on a Friday was 'ticketing issues' while Aunt Betty continued offering the same tickets at a slightly lower price presented on Skyscanner website. Aunt Betty NEVER called me offering a solution, remediation or alternative or basic honest customer care, they simply cancelled. Their responses via Jetmax Helpdesk Support, upon my request for answers, are long and defensive, fancy explanations but never a remediation.
Let the buyer beware here.......
