I needed a reliable and affordable way to transfer money internationally and Atlantic has been a great choice.

I love the convenience of being able to transfer money with Atlantic. The app is user-friendly and the exchange rates are fair. Just the currencies are limited atm :-)

This app is a Game changer.

The best option out there for transferring large amounts of money. I’ve saved probably over £100 using this to transfer € to £. Amazing couldn’t recommend it enough.

Had a few complications but managed in the end with friendly customer support. Will use again if needed.

Worked well from Euro to Swedish Krona. First transfer free of charge, next one 3€. Moved 10 000 euros each transfer. Delivery time 3 days. The app is a bit laggy sometimes, but other than that no problems.

Atlantic is changing the game in the money transfer industry with their fixed fee. I’ve been using it for €€€ to £££ and I am extremely satisfied with the offer.

I recently discovered Atlantic and I’m impressed. The fixed fee and cool interface make them an easy choice for international transfers. Only note: as for every other transfer provider: make sure you have your documents ready when transferring higher funds.

I only paid €3 to transfer €100,000 to the US __ that is insane.

Didn’t know variable fees are a scam before I came across Atlantic. Only using them now.

€€ to ££ transfers are just too good. I’m using them to transfer rental income to the UK and have already made huge savings.

BE CAREFUL with this company. They are a bunch of liars! They made me lose 400€ in exchange rate because they basically lied to me. Why? Made a transaction at 8.20AM in the morning. App told me my exchange rate will be locked until 13.20PM the same day. I asked them what happens when locked period expires. I have been told they use the instant exchange in the moment they receive my transfer. Funny thing is they got the money next day at 8.13AM and when I received an email telling my exchange rate was the same as the locked one, which of course was lower than the instan one in the midmarket. I'm sure if it would have been lower they would have change the locked period in their interest making me lose money also. So be aware of this liars. Better stick with WISE (best one out there) and forget about this scammers. Atlantic Money Customer Service actually agreed that their policy in the app wasn't clear and they apologized, but didn't make anything to make me happy. So worst experience ever. Never again!

First I was sceptical (they're new, small, kind of dodgy looking app). But I've done a few EUR->GBP transactions now, first small ones to try it and most recently a very large one to purchase a house. It worked like a charm and it's cheaper than all competitors incl. Wise, even if you pay for the express option. Great company!

Very easy to use app, super low transaction price (just 3€ and those were even waived for the first transaction), the money reached the recipient super fast (it took one day longer than the first estimation was but that's fine), and a great conversion rate! I will definitely use it again and I would 100% recommend it.

I am providing a 3 star rating because I started to perform a transaction and reconsidered - based upon the reviews.

I wish to remain impartial since I have not fulfilled a transaction - yet.

I hesitate because it is an app, rather than the security of my PC [ Personal preference ].
I use Wise and have done for at least 4 years.
What I like about Wise?
Instantaneous. I move GBP-EUR-GBP, between Ireland, Belgium & the UK. The moment I hit send, the money appears in my account.

I can hold EUR in Wise and convert to GBP when the rate reaches its peak and set a rate alert.

The rate I select is the exact rate I get.

What I don't like about Wise and Atlantic Money holds the attraction is the fee.

However, if I move EUR 10,000 with Wise it will cost me EUR 47 vs EUR 3 with Atlantic money - but for EUR 44 - I have my PC security, a guaranteed rate and currency movement in 'real time'.

I will certainly revisit Atlantic Money, at the very least, to determine if they make any changes to their business model that meets my criteria. If it does, I would be more than happy to give it a trial and revisit my review.
