Never received my order and no one is…

Never received my order and no one is helping
I never received my Arc’teryx order and customer service has been unresponsive. They said they’d look into it but weeks have gone by with no update. I’ve followed up multiple times and still nothing. It’s unbelievable how poor the communication has been for such an expensive brand. I expected far better from Arc’teryx and just want my order or a refund.

Disappointed with the Packaging – Doesn’t Reflect the Brand

I recently received my Arc'teryx Atom SV Hoody and, while I was excited about the purchase, the packaging was a real disappointment. The jacket came in a thin plastic cover, placed inside another white plastic mailing bag — no box, no protective wrapping, nothing that reflects a premium brand experience.

Honestly, I’ve received items from budget retailers like Temu that were packaged better. The jacket itself was completely crumpled, and at first glance, it almost looked like I’d ordered a fake product from a random website rather than directly from Arc'teryx.

For a $350 jacket, I expected a better unboxing experience — maybe a sturdy box or at least a dust bag to protect the gear. My excitement completely faded when I saw the package.

I really hope Arc'teryx reviews their packaging standards, as this level of presentation doesn’t align with the quality and reputation the brand is known for.

Arc'teryx Alpha SV Jacket - Fashion Garment not for Mountains

Title: Extremely Disappointed – £800 Jacket That Fell Apart After Light Use
I recently returned my Arc'teryx Alpha SV Jacket (2022 model) after it completely disintegrated, despite only moderate use. Arc'teryx’s assessment was as follows:
“During our assessment, here is what we have seen:
Textile contamination throughout – not covered by warranty
Fabric delamination throughout – not covered by warranty
The jacket is heavily contaminated in certain areas (collar, pockets, centre front), which has caused GTX delamination. Laminated elements have then failed as a consequence. The jacket is unfortunately not repairable.”
I have only ever used Grangers products for cleaning and reproofing, exactly as recommended, and the jacket has been worn on just five ski trips (around 30 days total).
For a jacket that now retails at £800, this level of durability and customer support is simply unacceptable. A premium technical garment at this price point should withstand light, appropriate use without catastrophic failure.
Verdict:
Avoid at all costs. Overrated, not waterproof, overpriced — a fashion statement rather than functional gear.

Poor service

Please note: I have only given one star as there is no option to leave a zero star rating.

I purchased a pair of men’s Beta AR pants a couple of years ago. They were an expensive item (£400) but very well made and a perfect fit. The issue I have is that I have lost a lot of weight recently due to ill health and as a result they are far to big for me now. I know that the ladies version used to come with 3 point suspenders and my pants have the same 3 point suspender loops. I have been in touch with Arc’teryx to see if I can get a set of the suspenders and have been told basically no. They do not sell them to customers.

What would you do if you wanted a replacement set for your ladies pair. Would their response be the same.

I was told by them that I could use a third party set but was warned that they could damage the goretex.

I can’t believe that a company as big as arc’teryx would not carry spares to sell on the eventuality of issues and why would they design a pair of pants with suspender loops but not sell the suspenders for them even though the attachment points are exactly the same as the ladies ones.

Best ever pair of boots

I’m a perfectionist. I’m looking always for the best. I bought shoes from another brands even three times more expensive which I’m not gonna mention for respect to those brands also I admire but the Norvan 4 Nivalis GTX are just the best pair of boots a person can find in these days in the entire world. I like boots because they protect you for some weather conditions that a pair of trainers can’t do but the Norvan 4 Nivalis GTX are the perfect creation as they are a pair of trainers being done as boots. I don’t know how to explain it but is the perfect combination of some trainers with some boots. Doing them the same. Which has been the cleverest designed pair of Goratex shoes ever.
They have not laces so easy to put them on.
They make you walk as comfortable as a pair of cushioned trainers with the difference that they are boots as never before performing like trainers: lights and protective of every weather.
They are the Goratex boots you can wear in every possible weather conditions.
Just my mistake that I’m was so obsessed with them to buy them after I tasted them that by mistake I ordered two and then I need to return one. My bad and apologies to Arc’teryx to do so. Thanks so much to build for me the most comfortable pair of shoes I can walk my dog in the worst conditions you can imagine doing my walk easy and nice. Thanks

Non existent customer service

You can’t deny that the clothing they sell is very good but the price they are charging the customer service should be better. I ordered a jacket and was told it would be delivered on Wednesday 29th October. UPS confirmed it would be delivered 29th October. 29th came and went, 30th nothing, 31st nothing, 1st November nothing. No updates, no answering emails and no product. NO GOOD

Appalling online customer service and returns process

I returned an item to the Manchester store in order to swap it for a different colour. Surprisingly the store said they couldn't refund the return as they have to return it to the warehouse first. I of course had to pay for the replacement there in store. Four weeks later I have still not received my refund, despite confirmation the return had been received a week later at their warehouse. I have chased an update via their online portal several times, only once receiving a perfunctory reply asking for proof of depost so they will investigate....I directed them back to my order number on their system showing the return was recieved back at their warehouse. It has been a week since they last replied to my emails. I still have not received my refund. My advice would be to not shop online at Arc'teryx if you are not 100% sure of the sizing and style, otherwise, should you need to return items, you may never see your money, or products, again.

Poor quality jacket, avoid

Really poor quality materials, both mine and my wife’s jacket have many tiny thread pulls and frays all over, we have only used our jackets for light walking but jackets look years old not the three months old that they are.

Customer service say mine is due to wearing a backpack a few times, despite my frays not being on the back or shoulders. Customer service ignored that my wife’s jacket looked the same despite her never using a backpack and seemed to blame my backpack somehow.

We were offered a discount for new jackets but only if we returned our current jackets for recycling which seemed to completely miss the point we are not happy with the items - I wouldn’t want to spend hundreds of pounds more to have the same issue again.

Lesson learnt, will avoid the brand in the future

Absolute Garbage.

Absolute Garbage.

Here I thought Arc'teryx stood for durability and quality. I bought a cerium hoodie and after wearing it ONCE, it had 5 micro tears. Compare this with a North Face Diablo vest which I have owned for over 2 years which does not have a single tear.

How can this Company release a product with such bad quality in the market, let alone justify the price tag?

AVOID at all cost, this company is just hype.

I have changed my experience to 2 stars as of 10/11/25 since Arc' issued a goodwill refund due to the manufacturing defects. Regardless, I'm forever worried that their quality is not up to standard and most likely will not be ordering again.

Quality does not match $$$$$

After years of supporting Arc'teryx and trusting its quality, I've decided to move on. A recent warranty experience was disappointing -- the company cited "fabric condition and wear and care" without clear explanation, despite my following all recommended care instructions. The partial credit offered did not reflect the product's cost or the brand's reputation for standing behind its gear. This experience has caused me to lose confidence in the company's commitment to its customers. Quality does not match price tag.

Arc'Teryx does not stand behind their products. They will leave you with damaged items and no recourse.

Bought their Granville 25 Backpack and used it with my Men's Atom Hoody. After a month, the rough backplate of the Granville had caused significant pilling and damaged the waterproofing of the Atom. I contacted Arc'Teryx customer service and they said it was normal and nothing would be done about it. For a 280$ backpack and 360$ jacket, I would expect them to stand behind the quality of their products.

Above and beyond customer service

We visited the Arc'teryx shop on Brookfield Place this morning to buy a couple of gifts for our children who couldn’t join us on holiday (two high quality cotton tops) which we then left in the hotel lobby by mistake. Realising the mistake when we reached the airport we called our hotel and the Arc'teryx Brookfield Place shop who then shared that they would be happy to collect the gifts and post them to our home in Germany! Absolutely incredible customer service. So grateful to everyone in the Arc’teryx team who made this happen!

I have been a loyal Arcteryx customer…but not any more!

I have been a loyal Arcteryx customer for 25+ years and have spent tens of thousands of dollars on apparel and equipment. I have a jacket that the seams have come unraveled. I decided to travel with my jacket on a business trip where there was a retail location that I could drop it off to send in for repair. The associate at the store was helpful in submitting my repair "request" on line but informed me that I would need to wait to send in my jacket on my own and pay for shipping once I received an approval for the repair. After emailing back and forth with the warranty repair associate Evan for about a weeks time frame, he came back and let me know that he was not able to repair or replace my jacket due to time. Although I only wear the jacket about 10 times a year, it is in brand new condition from my immaculate care for the jacket but was obviously flawed and the seams unraveled. Though he was very nice and respectful, he only offered me at first 20% but then went to 30% of my jackets value in the form of a credit and I had to send in my jacket for them to keep. This is not the service I would expect of a very high end brand and unfortunately, they have now permanently lost me as a customer. Beware of their poor commitment to quality!

I could not be more disappointed

I could not be more disappointed in Arc’teryx. I’ve wanted a jacket from them for the longest time but could never justify the cost. Someone close to me bought me and rated the item. Firstly, despite going off the measurements provided by the website, the jacket was too big. I’d heard that they run small so went the Large instead. Looking at the medium I knew that would also be too small so I figured I just had to suck it up and it would be worthwhile to have a warm, lightweight jacket. Not the case. I basically have ended up with a flimsy, expensive long sleeved shirt that I will only be able to wear on coolish summer days…. If at all. The fit and quality are also disappointing and not what I would expect for the price.

FAKE - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THERE!!!

I was looking at facebook and a ad came up, with super cheap Arcteryx stuff. I pressed the page and was very surprised about the cheap prices.
I looked more and more, I checked again if the website was real, and its really looked real, same pictures as 'the real Arcteryx website' But I noticed, some tings was spelled wrong, so it seemed wrong anyway, somethings didn't seem right. I checked 'trustpilot' and further down the page, some guy was writing about it, that this 'arcteryx-eu.com page was fake, and people did not get what they paid for. I was a little surprised by no more people was writing about it! -So doing it now! FAKE - FAKE!

5 jackets all failed at hem

I've got about 5 jackets, lightweight from hard to soft shells. The hem heat tape has failed on all of them! Absolute rubbish for the price paid. Arteryx ain't interested in hearing about it.

Service in store is bad

Service in store is bad. They do not listen and try to sell You something entirely different. Sizing is way off! Large is equivalent to a XLarge, the Medium is equivalent to a Small! When you ask the salesman, he gives you a snotty response! Ten Years Ago, excellent quality and customer service, fast forward to 2025 and it’s gone to shite for a product double the price of their competitors!

Repairs service damage your items & won't respond.

I'm a long time customer of Arcteryx.
I sent a jacket through their repairs service from the Covent Garden store, for a simple return (fixing an elastic lead on the inside of one of the jacket pockets)
My jacket was returned to me with major damage to the jacket, with an entire seam replaced on another part of the jacket to where the repair area was. The outside of the jacket has substantial heat/glue damage & is unwearable.

I've contacted Arcteryx via email & phone multiple times over the last 10 days and have had no formal response.

This brand doesn't care about loyal customers, has a repair service that damage jackets even when making simple repairs & then ignores customers when they raise issues.

Avoid.
