Great Customer Service

I'm a beginning welder and purchased an ARCCAPTAIN MG165. The machine works great but I had one issue that was really causing me problems. I contacted customer service and Kelsey quickly identified a simple solution to my issue and now my experience with the welder is 100% better, I wish every business would have such wonderful customer service people.

Great support

Great support, I did not receive a manual with my welder, called and talked to Kelsey,she said I could down load and print the manual, told her my printer was not working she said on problem and sent me a printed copy right away, super service, from super person welder works GREAT great product well made

Top notch people at a top notch company…

Top notch people working for a top notch company making a great product -- Thank you! Kelsey was my point of contact and provided assistance as I had made an error on my order. Kelsey and the team corrected my mistake and got the correct unit -- a CUT55 PRO plasma cutter -- shipped lightning fast and it arrived in perfect condition. We qualified it and were using it in less than an hour from unboxing! Thanks Kelsey and thanks to all in ArcCaptain.

ordered a welder canceled order they…

ordered a welder canceled order they said it shipped refuse delivery so I did they never issued a refund and bank refuses to help on charge back

Flimsy air connection

The way the air connection is mounted is very flimsy, it’s very difficult to tighten the air connection enough to stop leaking….and without breaking the air cleaner.

An amazing Welder !!

An amazing Welder, Hands down!! infinite adjustments.
Incredibly smooth and stable arc through both DC and AC functions. This really gives you a high-performance welder at a very affordable price. Highly recommended you won’t be disappointed. Also, I’d like to note the customer service I received from Angelo and Kelsey of Arccaptain was over the top!! I’ll be back soon for more for sure!!

📻 Consumer Protection Alert – Serious Order & Billing Concerns

⚠️ Public Consumer Warning Regarding Arccaptain Welding Equipment

This is a consumer alert for anyone considering purchasing welding equipment from Arccaptain.

I recently ordered a welding machine — Order #78355, the MIG205 Pro model. Shortly after placing the order, I attempted multiple times to contact customer service to cancel or modify it. Emails went unanswered. Phone calls were not picked up. The only response was automated messaging saying no one was available.

After repeated attempts, a representative finally called back and clearly stated that Order #78355 would be canceled. I was instructed to place a new order for the correct model. Following their instructions, I placed Order #78547 — the MIG205MP All-in-One Pulse MIG Welder and Cutter Combo with upgraded kit.

The next day, my credit card was charged for the original order that was supposedly canceled.

When I called again, I was told that Order #78355 was not canceled and was already scheduled for delivery.

Let’s be clear about what this means:

• A confirmed cancellation was not honored.
• A customer was charged for an order that was supposed to be voided.
• Phone support was largely unreachable.
• Emails were ignored.
• Conflicting information was provided by company representatives.

For a company selling professional-grade welding equipment, this level of disorganization is alarming.

If basic order management and communication cannot be handled properly, consumers must ask serious questions:

What happens if the equipment fails?
What happens if warranty service is needed?
What happens if there is a safety issue?

Reliable tools require reliable support.

Consumers should exercise caution and carefully document all communication when dealing with this company. Transparency, accountability, and customer service are not optional in the professional equipment industry.

This experience raises significant concerns about internal processes and customer protection standards.

Buyers deserve better.

They charged me for both orders: 1st 78355 / 2nd 78547 :( which the 1st 78355 order supposed to cancelled:(
And I miss some items on the second orders: 2nd 78547
I contacted them no reply back. I called them. No one is picking the phone up. All way it say no one is in the office.

I purchased a spool gun for a mig 250…

I purchased a spool gun for a mig 250 from arccaptain Web site. After receiving it i have noticed it does not have 030 or 035 tip for feed. I have exhausted my attempts to contact them wth no resolution I am so upset with this service I am regretting have purchased from this company if this is how they do business. they have answered my email and have sent the replacement part did have to wait came from China but now i can use it.

Amazing welder and customer service

First, the M200 Fit is an amazing machine for the money. I've only used the MIG mode so far, but it has been great compared to my old Stick Lincoln.

Second, if your concerned about customer service for a company that you may have not heard of, well don't be. I made a mistake when I ordered some replacement tips and ordered the wrong size for the wire I had, The customer service agent. Kelsey, made it an awesome experience. A great welder with great customer service....what's not too love?

Cut50 - Great Experience So Far!

Great experiences from Arccaptain so far! Ordering was quick and easy, it arrived to my local hub quickly, but getting the package was a bit of a challenge (absolutely not an Arccaptain issue at all, FedEx Ground is and has been suffering from serious operational issues for years in my area, every package out of this hub to be delivered in my area is always delayed by days).

Reached out to Arccaptain customer service to see whether they might have had any additional insights into what was going on with FedEx, and Shirley responded promptly. While they couldn't provide any additional insights, it was great knowing customer service was right around the corner!

Finally received the package from FedEx more than 1 month later. Got my Cut50 set up on 240V and put it through a few initial cuts to ensure it at least worked out of the box, and it did perfect! Works great so far, and is a fantastic accompaniment to the welding outfit in my garage.

Looking forward to years of service out of it!

This machine is fantastic

This machine is fantastic, reduces your time by at least half. Seller responds promptly when contacted. I did not receive my accessories kit with my machine; they promptly sent a second kit, I then received both and they graciously gave me the second kit for free.

Good customer support - Order #75946

Had a minor issue while ordering (totally my fault), as I forgot to add a discount code. I am very satisfied with Shirley helping me get straightened out. There is a time zone difference between me (EST) and their support team, and replies come back in about a day.. Fast enough for me. Regarding the machine, the 205mp has more features than my $8000 blue multi- process welder at work. For the features this offers, at the price it is sold for, cannot be found elsewhere on the market. The honest reviews on youtube conducted by seasoned veteran welders (nobswelding) indicate this is a quality machine. I spoke with some of the guys in our maintenance shop, and after seeing the price point and features, one of them is thinking of getting one for himself. Once I get and use the machine I will attempt a follow-up review.

Great tools at affordable prices!

I have been using my Mig 200 and the Plasma Cut 50 for the last 8 months and have been really pleased at how flawlessly they work. I would definitely recommend both of these items if you are looking for something like this & they are affordable.

Good product, good service and surprisingly good prices !

I truly appreciate that customer support has actually real humans.
You send request and you get real answer.
Everyone who ever had to deal with, for example, Amazon's Ai computer automatic customer service loophole knows what I'm talking about.
I also appreciate that the website works as a guide for what accessories fits to which machine. This is excellent especially for beginners. And welders itself. Not bad. You get reasonable quality for reasonable money. I'm getting tired of big brand welding manufacturers charging double or more for the machines and all accessories just because there is a sticker with their name on it.

Receiving and setting up machine

I’ve had a few communications with Support, they have been very responsive and professional. I am in the process of setting up my MIG 250, No real difficulty in shipping, with a minor exception, the MiG wire and the welder were sent in two separate shipments, I was a little confused about that. Otherwise, it arrived in reasonable time.
