The staff at A Place Like Home was so helpful in answering questions and sorting out issues. This made our stay seamless....thanks for a wonderful time!!

Our apartment (3 floors) was very nice and we enjoyed it. One problem was the flight of stairs from the ground floor to the 1st floor which had no hand railing and was difficult for two old ladies to manage. Everything else was good. Especially appreciated was the air conditioning! It was also in a convenient location, only a couple of blocks from the High Street Kensington tube station and 2 grocery stores between the partment and the tube station.

I’ve been working with A Place Like Home since the early 1990’s and have never been disappointed in either the flats or the service. I’ve outlasted several bookers but for years now Nick has been most responsive and attentive.
I’ve recommended A Place Like Home to several people and will continue to do so.

Nick is a gem of a person and replies within minutes to every query.

I loved all the properties i stayed at but my recent one draycott place was an exception. Cosy and elegant.

The car service they arrange is very punctual and value for money.

I have turned to A Place Like Home for London vacation rentals many times over the last 15 years or so. My experiences have been mostly very positive. On my most recent trip, I worked with Nick Brandler, who found a flat for me on rather short notice, helped me extend the reservation when my plans changed fairly last minute, and super appreciated- made sure I could get into the flat when I arrived early on a Sunday morning after an overnight flight from the US. This was so helpful and made a world of difference.

The staff answered to the questions that I sent by email were always quick and full. The greeter who met us at the property, was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, as he immediately told us, there was no hot water in the master bedroom bathroom.
Anyway, I must say that I have been using "A Place Like Home" for several years and have always had a good experience.

The property was tasteful, exactly as described, well located near Sloane Square and in a quiet residential street. The facilities, including bed linen and towels, were excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

Great spot, clean and tidy, very convenient. However internet was dodgy. Eventually fixed. Only 2 functional mugs.

The property was clean and exactly as advertised. Location is spot on. Would have liked there to be proper heads up about the general cleaning situation.

Location was excellent in a great neighborhood with shopping, groceries, and the tube all super close. Having three bedroom and three bathrooms was super nice for our family of six—and hard to find. Main room was a perfect gathering area and the kitchen was well equipped. Used the back patio to sit outside every day. Having a greeter help us in was something we hadn't experienced before and it was fantastic. So happy I found this place!

The location in Mayfair was excellent, the greeter Hugo was very friendly and helpful, and the amenities in the apartment were good. My only complaint is that the showers needed to be cleaned with tile and grout cleaner to remove some mold and mildew.

We enjoyed our stay in London using A Place Like Home. They afforded us extra services like a greeter who made sure we were connecting to the WiFi. We enjoyed the flat and found it well appointed. A Place Like Home was competitive in price and exceptional in service. I downgraded one star due to a few routine maintenance issues: a flickering light and a wobbly toilet. Overall, I would definitely look to book a rental in London with them again.

We had a lovely stay at the flat we rented in Chelsea. Hugo showed us about in the flat, explained how appliances worked, and gave us good tips about how to get about in London public transport and where to go for good Indian food. Thanks!! They have a good choice of beautiful appartments and we feel safer renting from them than from any other online option. It was our second time with A Place Like Home and would really recommend it.

We really enjoyed this lovely flat and its wonderful location. Excellent service and it had everything we needed. We hope to be back some time. Highly recommended!

The flat was very well situated close to Kings Road and well sppointed

We recently stayed at one of A Place Like Home's properties in central London. Our experience was excellent, from start to finish.

First of all, the website is fantastic and booking was a breeze. All of our questions were answered quickly.

On the day of our arrival, we were met by a greeter who was lovely and showed us around the apartment, how to turn on the A/C, etc and gave us local recommendations. That was a very nice touch.

The location of the apartment was ideal, the cleanliness was excellent, the beds comfortable, and everything was in good working order. We did have one minor issue during our stay, and A Place Like Home sent a technician within a few hours.

The communication during our stay was excellent. All of our inquiries were handled efficiently and professionally.

I highly recommend A Place Like Home if you are planning to stay in the London area. I wouldn't hesitate to choose them again.

Absolutely charming location and cottage. Gorgeous views from every window. Very comfortable and well appointed home. Sorry we didn't stay longer.

Seamless communication with Nick about our booking — he was very helpful in recommending where we would enjoy being in the city for the trip we wanted.

Nick also arranged transport to/from the airport and that helped reduce my stress levels considerably! We appreciated having someone at the house right as we arrived who helped us settle in quickly.

Highly recommend APLH and how easy they made it for us to visit London and guide us to the right home. The house was clean and comfortable and we really felt like we had a place like home on our visit.
