I've noticed that there never seems to be any real outcome after telling you that they pushed your cv, and it sometimes feels as though the main purpose is to collect market information such as salary data and other personal data, this sentiment is shared by many professionals in my sector (finance. Quant finance & trading).
It also makes me wonder whether the positions mentioned in their messages actually exist.
I’ve never been able to be invited to an interview via their process, yet once I decided to apply directly with the same CV, I get contacted in most cases quite quickly.

A note for future candidates: be aware that some recruiters may upload your CV into the ATS (applicant tracking system) of certain companies.
I wonder whether this could potentially work against you if you later apply directly to the same company

The whole process took about 6mths which very long and hence challenging from both the recruiter as well as from my perspective as a candidate. However I really appreciated the quick responsiveness and constant communication I received from George throughout the process. Fast responses, but very rude consultants who don't pay attention to details. In technical roles they don't seem to understand what is going on but speak like they do. Would advise that companies avoid them for the way they treat candidates.
